Usually an excellent experience in service but it fell short this time around with a reading I received via my phone (technology is way over the top!) and I felt more could have been offered by way of going beyond relying solely ON the technology and maybe giving it a go with the former timely method of thinking things through. AFTER I left and giving it thought and talking to some died hard BMW owners, the opinion was an offer to keep the car BUT the loaner issue may have BEEN an issue having to tie it up ad infinitum. "The car had advised" to charge the battery so I did and apparently technology only goes so far because that fault, which had been thrown twice, was not "saved" and having charged it, as instructed, nothing could be found so now I wait for another notification of a "severely discharged battery" and THIS time I will go through the inconvenience of having the car flat bedded and NOT following the instruction to either drive the car 30 minutes to charge it or hook it up to a battery charger.I waited 3 weeks for this appointment even based on this notification never imagining the fault would not be held in memory; and, if my request for a loaner is based on that wait, I will still have the car flat bedded to the dealer and beg or borrow a car from my circle of friends in the interim and ask that I be put on the list for the next available loaner
