I came to BMW of Barrington after a awful experience with another dealer.
Angel Rivera called me back within a few minutes of leaving him a voicemail. He put me in touch with Ryan Durso for extending my warranty and Marc Collura in service.
The teamwork between sales, finance and service was exceptional. Angel introduced me to Ryan who thoroughly explained my warranty options. I ended up extending my warranty. Ryan introduced me to Marc in service who went above and beyond to get my car in for service that day. The service team took care of my issue.

The personnel at Karl Knauz BMW are very kind & efficient; especially two people; Marak GRYC, my salesman & David Rolain, the service manager. I recently purchased a 330IXGT at Knauz BMW & after having driven less than 10,000 miles I was told that I had to replace & then purchase two new replacement rear tires at a cost of $936.27. I was honestly shocked that I needed new tires after driving a little order one year after purchase. I thought it was outrageous so I talked to Mr. Gryc who, in turn, talked to Mr Rolain. After a wait of a few days I was told to bring the car in to service. I did so & two days later I was told that the rear tires had been replaced & the wheels realigned at no cost to me! I sincerely wish to than Mr. Rolain for helping me in this matter & to thank Mr. GRYC interceding for me. This was absolutely the right thing to do & I am extremely pleased with Knauz BMW & its personnel! Thank you SO MUCH!

After driving it about a month, I needed to figure out a few more things and met with Carlos again. His demeanor is very calm and relaxed. He is perfectly suited for giving instruction/training. He really seems to know the cars inside and out! Carlos also helped me with floor matt considerations and window tinting.

Took my car in for warranty work for a window. During an inspection they claimed to have found other issues but it was covered under warranty as well so I had them fixed. Received the car back and the next day a part that previously had no issues came loose causing the car to go to limp mode. Dealership claimed all repairs, including completely removing transmission couldn't have caused the issue and wanted to charge me to fix it. Disappointed and won't be taking my car there again.
For what it's worth, customer service with Jason was excellent when I originally brought the car in for repair.

Horrible service- over priced. I took my car here for an inspection the moment I got it- they confirmed there were no issues other than a $500 part that needed replaced- a week later my alternator belt fell off- they claimed it was from water and puddles but it hadn’t rained.. afterwards my car was making weird noises so I took it back.. they fixed the wrong thing and my car was still making the noises so I took it back... after days of being in their shop... I finally got it back after having to ride with the mechanic to ensure he was working on the right thing this time.. Then I had a radiator leak. I was quoted $1300 to fix so I paid it... $1900 to be exact. There also was a problem with my heat and I was quoted $2700 to fix (we all know that would have been $5k by the time they were finished) I declined. Finally got my car back after a week or so and my radiator was still leaking... Heat was still only working on one side. Called to make a complaint and no one really cared just wanted me to bring my car back in so they could mess something else up. I called a local mechanic (I don’t typically trust people but his reviews were amazing) took my car in and it was diagnosed within 5 mins!!! And was rectified within hours... he even gave me the part that needed to be replaced so I’d know exactly what was wrong with my car and I have a lifetime warranty... He fixed my heat for $300 (now it’s too hot lol) and my leak fixed all for under 1/4 of the price I was quoted at bmw in a fraction of the time. I’m not saying BMW Is a bad store and this review should not at all have any impact on the sales department however, the service department is horrible!! Chad and Ryan both would not admit their mistakes, instead, they make excuses as if they are the ppl doing the labor on these cars. And Ryan’s response was... “we are already paid” Times are rough... money is short for a lot of businesses- but the customers should never have to pay for a company’s short comings! I will NEVER bring my car here again and I would suggest you do the same!! Check your reviews!!

Their customer service is really bad. I was told that parts will come in within a week and then a week became weekssss and NO ONE CALL to let us know. We have to call back to find out. When we called, they can't find my order and told me to bring my car back so that they can check on the parts numbers, which they should given that i was there the last time and they looked at my car. Upon my request, they checked again and then FOUND my records and told me that part would take a few MORE WEEKS!!!!!
