Everyone I’ve met in person or talk to over the phone or very personable and professional! Monica set up my appointment over the phone was very pleasant and efficient. The older gentleman that greeted me when I drove my car into service was very cordial! Once inside Monica set me up with a representative that was very kind and polite and a casual conversation with the parts lady was also very enjoyable! If I didn’t know any better, I would suspect that all of these employees enjoy their job!! Ha ha ha you just can’t train people to have a personality or to be happy… But when you hire the right people and treat them well it shows! Very very pleasant experience, thank you for that!
Honest and Fair - Baybee BMW3
We all have had an unpleasant experience with a car dealerships at some point in our lives. And we don’t hold our peace to let them and anyone willing to listen, how we feel. But I must praise the BMW dealership in Fort Wayne. The Service Manager and my Service Technician Jason took EXTRA care of me. No details necessary...but I would recommend anyone (if they had a BMW) to ask for my guys🙂.
Waste of time, go to Louisville... - Candy9188
I literally walked into this dealership twice and said, “I want to buy this car!”. I had the model and details built from the VW website. I never had to try so hard to buy a car in my life. After first being told they couldn’t order the car in the model I wanted, I went back in November for one last chance and was told they would call me when an SEL came in... this was in November... I’m still waiting for this phone call (mid Feb).
Meanwhile, I took the trip to Louisville in which they have 3 area dealerships, bought an SEL R-Line off the showroom floor within a few hours and saved money off the MSRP. This deal actually worked to my advantage even if D-Patrick had the SUV I wanted, but it’s a shame I had to drive to the next city to make the deal. I can’t say enough great things about my experience at Bachman, from the degree the salesperson went through all their stock to make sure I saw all options to the long test drive.
Don’t even get me started on the D-Patrick “test drive” in which the salesman just drove around the parking lot. I was talked down to almost the entire time, it was a horrible experience.
Buying an Used Chevy Equinox - Doru
DeFouw Chevrolet in Lafayette it's a great place to start your car shopping experience! I live in NW Indy area and at the beginning of the year I started my search for our next car, looking for an used Chevy Equinox. I bought it a month ago from Defouw Chevy. So, I'm writing this review not under the euphoria of a new car purchase, but after the things settle down and I used the car for the past month.
After a week of internet research I started to contact different dealerships. Even from this point the experience was great with DeFouw: they answered my questions and even they invited me to come and see their cars they didn't try to pressure or lure me in.
After we checked several dealerships in Indianapolis area, we decided to go and check some in Lafayette. We visited some and in the end we went to DeFouw Chevy. We really liked what we found here: great services provided in timely manner, the salespeople didn't try to sell their cars telling us untrue stories, but most important we liked the cars. Comparing them to what we found in other places these cars looked and feel great and they had competitive prices. The car we bought I also took it to a car shop in my hometown to be inspected, after I bought it, and they said the same thing: the car was in a great shape.
We visited the dealership two times until we agreed on a car, and we worked in our negotiations for the car with several sales agents and their manager and all of them did an awesome job. After I bought the car I talked with a friend of mine that lived in Lafayette area ten or fifteen years ago and he said he used to buy cars from them, too, because of their great services and quality of the cars. It seems over the years they managed to keep their high standards in a very competitive business. So, I think you won't go wrong if you'll start your car search with them!

They advertised a BMW X3 as CPO. Sold it as CPO, then after I had been approved bt BMW finance for CPO, they say the car isn't CPO, and try to raise my rate.
Extremely Poor Service - ServiceBeforeSelf
Shortly after purchase of vehicle, dealer could not fix problem on 5 different occasions over a one year time span but to only inform me I would need new parts at my expense. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. WARNING: Do not buy tires at BMW because they DO NOT warranty the purchase.
