DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE - Dissapointed
Had my diesel BMW x5 Serviced and they left didnt even completely fill the DEF fluid. They still charged me $250. My amp for sound had stopped working. They wanted to replace it for $2000 to see if that was the problem. I purchased one from ebay for $80 to see if that was the problem and it solved it. I later cleaned the old amp inside and it works well now also. So I have a spare. They had the car all day and charged me over $500 and did not fix anything. Since they did not top off the DEF fluid I am concerned if they even changed the oil or not. It is best to do the work yourself so you know it is completed correctly.
Listening to our Needs - indianadriverz
My wife and I were looking to get a commuter vehicle for her, and we stopped in at BMW of Fort Wayne and Libby was awesome!
She listened to what we wanted to do with our dream vehicle and then recommended something we hadn’t thought of—the BMW i3.
Once we rode in it, we knew it was exactly what we needed. And Rob as a driver of this vehicle answered our other questions. They were both so helpful.
To much for a fuse - ljd54
I did not like the fact I was charged $ 79.00 for a missing fuse. The service staff was awesome very nice 5-star thanks
Buying an Used Chevy Equinox - Doru
DeFouw Chevrolet in Lafayette it's a great place to start your car shopping experience! I live in NW Indy area and at the beginning of the year I started my search for our next car, looking for an used Chevy Equinox. I bought it a month ago from Defouw Chevy. So, I'm writing this review not under the euphoria of a new car purchase, but after the things settle down and I used the car for the past month.
After a week of internet research I started to contact different dealerships. Even from this point the experience was great with DeFouw: they answered my questions and even they invited me to come and see their cars they didn't try to pressure or lure me in.
After we checked several dealerships in Indianapolis area, we decided to go and check some in Lafayette. We visited some and in the end we went to DeFouw Chevy. We really liked what we found here: great services provided in timely manner, the salespeople didn't try to sell their cars telling us untrue stories, but most important we liked the cars. Comparing them to what we found in other places these cars looked and feel great and they had competitive prices. The car we bought I also took it to a car shop in my hometown to be inspected, after I bought it, and they said the same thing: the car was in a great shape.
We visited the dealership two times until we agreed on a car, and we worked in our negotiations for the car with several sales agents and their manager and all of them did an awesome job. After I bought the car I talked with a friend of mine that lived in Lafayette area ten or fifteen years ago and he said he used to buy cars from them, too, because of their great services and quality of the cars. It seems over the years they managed to keep their high standards in a very competitive business. So, I think you won't go wrong if you'll start your car search with them!
Rude service staff - 001122
no one at the dealership addressed my concerns about the rude behavior. We will not buy from this dealership again. Its a shame that customer sevice is no longer viewed as a priority.
Bad business motto - KSTenterprise
Usually shop at perillo BMW however upon my move to Indiana I figured I'd try something local, I was very displeased with how I was handled and how fellow workers talk amongst themselves and conduct business in a open manner failing to respect other ears that may hear.
The product person I spoke to was very short with me especially attempting to reply to my specific questions. I chose not to buy shortly after that process and decided to go back to Chicago where I was able to buy a new 5 series 550M in no time and I am very p,eased with that process.
I do not recommend this dealer to anyone
Made appointment for Mini with loaner car to be available - minidriver
I made appointment and reservation for Mini service six days in advance. I live 2 hours from Indy, so I scheduled my service appointment on date that I was going to be working in Indy. I arrived for service appointment but no loaner cars were available -" but I had a reservation, I need a loaner car so I can go onto work at two different locations in Indy."
Within the 2 hour window, someone could have called me and told me a loaner car was not available. I had to leave to go to work in my Mini without being serviced. So, I am not very happy. I drove 4 hours (total) and no service. If I had known, in advance, I would not have gone out of my way to drive to the north side of Indy as my appointments were on the west side of Indy. They did offer to call me an Uber, but I was headed to two separate locations and they made no mention of paying for it and my return. When I returned home that evening, I sent Dreyer & Reinbold an email from their site. No email or call from them. Poor service and they didn't touch my car!
