misdiagnosed 3x - carguy17
In an attempt to make an extremely long and frustrating story short, I'll only touch on some facts. I took my jeep to their on location repair center in Joplin in order to fix an ABS sensor light that kept comming on. Their diagnosis was a faulty gear shifter assebmly....so I paid to replace it. I took the car back very soon after we picked it up with the problem still occurring only for them to tell me that the ignition needed replaced....so I paid to replace it. Once more, I returned the car more frustrated than ever with the same problem. They told me two control modules needed replaced. You guessed right...I replaced them.
Here's is why I believe they possess a huge void in the morals department. It turns out they had been driving my car in order to replicate the problem...all good not a problem...what they did not expect was for me to drive by and find my jeep in a random driveway in a town 20 miles away. As it would turn out they left it as a LOANER for one of their other customers to use while they fix her car, with the keys in it unlocked. UNLOCKED! In conclusion nothing was fixed, the problem still remains and all I want is my money back. I was without a car the entire time they had it (two months or more all together),
If you're ok with them loaning out your car to complete strangers then go for it. I'll be looking anywhere else to take my business and recomend you do the same.
Excellent Service - Margaret
I started with the internet search, the results were positive. I received a call back almost immediately from (Lamont). Requested information about the vehicle I was interested in, it was in stock, made an appointment with Lamont, he wasn't available that day but had (I think TK) call me to confirm my appointment and he would meet with me. I walked into the dealership and was greeted immediately by the owner!!! Tony Ware was assigned to me as the consultant. The financing with Mike Hilfink, went extremely well, also. From the time entering the dealership until I left, the service was awesome! I have never walked in a car dealership to purchase a auto and walkout 2.5 hrs later. The price was less than I thought I would pay for this auto. It was effective, productive and very exciting to purchase our newly owned vehicle from Marty Cancila.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience.
Amazing customer service and pricing - JANE STUMPF
We decided we'd look for another reliable vehicle and we went up 44 East. We stopped at several dealerships along the way. We hadn't searched for a vehicle in a while and, up until we stopped at Schicker's Automotive, we were shocked to see how customer service had taken a serious nosedive. Several places we stopped, either we were ignored all together, no one offered to help or they diddle-daddled around. But, Schicker's Automotive was unlike anywhere we stopped that day. From the moment we drove in their driveway, someone was right there and said, "Pull right on in!" From the get-go, I let our salesperson, Ken Briick, know our price range and even though we were looking for a used car, we were treated with the utmost of courtesy and respect. The process was easy and trading in our vehicle was easy, too. They were very organized and every single person there was polite, charasmatic and friendly. Ken even took our picture standing in front of our vehicle before we left. He also put gas in before we left! The whole experience was phenomenal. I would definitely go back. Their service is far superior! Jane and Aaron Stumpf
The people are stupid - Tulio Juarez
I bought a Ford F150 in this dealer click 2 days after having it, I scrubbed the air conditioner and talked to the seller and told me to take it to check it and when he took it he told me that I was signed and that they could not do anything the only thing that mattered to them was to sell and not the customers and then the manager appeared and took me out of there and total apart from paying $ 21,000 for the truck now I have to pay from my pocket
Great family owned and operated dealership! - dougb
Just purchased my 3rd vehicle from Century. Brian, Kevin, Frank and Craig are just the best guys to do business with. So helpful, friendly, and fair. The best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle. I highly recommend Century.
We have had nothing but trouble trying to get our 2018... - RamCats07
We have had nothing but trouble trying to get our 2018 Ram diagnosed and repaired at this dealership. Every issue has taken multiple visits to address and then the truck comes back to us with a new problem. The truck is 6 months old and has less than 25k miles on it and they want $120+ to diagnose an oil leak that started immediately after THEY did an oil change! The service department is poorly managed and there seems to be no concern for the customer’s time or the quality of work. I really hope this isn’t the norm for all CDJR service departments. At this point, I wouldn’t even trust them to wash my truck.
Poor customer service. No one on the lot tried to make us... - Disappointed
Poor customer service. No one on the lot tried to make us feel welcome. The only guy on the lot that would talk to us didn't know anything about the inventory. Every question asked was met with "I don't know." No effort to find out. Kept trying to sell us a pocket listing that wasn't cleaned up yet. We left and bought a brand new car at a different dealer.
A “down-home folksy place" recommended by an MD, PhD - Oliver Squid
I had been talking about replacing my car for a while. It was wrecked and the plates were about to expire. When I'm done with a car, it's pretty used up. With my son set to graduate college this spring, I decided to maybe, just maybe, buy a new car. One day while I was talking to the doctor/scientist mentioned in the title, cars came up. He told me that I should go check out Dave Sinclair in Pacific because it was the kind of a place that reminded him of “small town back home” with “great people”. When I reminded him that I was from the Pacific area he said even better, you won’t have to go far for good service and that he didn’t mind driving from St. Louis to get it.
I wasn’t planning to buy a new Jeep that day, in fact I wasn’t planning to buy anything at all. I was just looking. My girlfriend and her son were with me when we stopped by Dave’s showroom. We were met by a new salesman, Tom Inman. He asked me what I was interested in and I told him that I was looking at anything, new or used, that got twenty-five miles to the gallon or better, was still under factory warranty and not a pooch. And that I was just looking!
I thought I was a car guy. Although, I own a truck, I like driving cars. Much to my surprise I started leaning toward a Jeep Compass. When I sat in one in the showroom, I noticed it didn’t have the all of the blind spots that I was used to in other SUVs. I think Tom figured out how this was going and asked me what my favorite color was. A few moments later he pulled up in a red 2018 for me to test drive.
The drive was good, but after we parked it another one caught my eye. We went back inside and Tom pulled the specs on the one I had just driven and the one that I would end up buying. While we were looking at the numbers and the different options between the two, Tom popped back in with another set of keys and said if you’re really of thinking about the other one I won’t let you buy it unless you drive it. But, by this time my girlfriend’s 10 year old son was getting a little crabby about the car shopping process and had no intention of going on another test drive. The manager said it would be okay, if he just wanted to watch a little TV in the waiting room while we took a drive and that he would watch him. We weren’t worried because he had his phone and could call either of us, and that we would be back pretty quick. We were. I had just found exactly what I was looking for. I had to pay a little more for the 2019, but it had better options and I LOVED it.
It has snowed a few times between now and then and I now really have a hard time trying to figure out why I never owned a four wheel drive before. I love my new Jeep! Tom even washed it for me last week, like he said he would and just like the doctor said, “great people”.
Best CPO Charger In town! - JCooper
We were looking for a CPO Dodge Charger and Gladstone Dodge had the best car and deal in town when searching the web! The Charger had fewer miles than any other we had seen with leather interior! Awesome Ride!!

I had a phenomenal experience at Landmark. Everyone was friendly and helpful the entire time. Melinda was a superhero and guided me through the entire process with ease. I’ll never buy a car anywhere else.
The big let down - Tdalt
I couldn’t give this dealership a worse recommendation if I could. I purchased a 2004 Chevy Silverado duramax with this company on 02/26/2019 they were supposed to have the vehicle delivered due to my busy work schedule as most working adults have. Instead I was givin the runaround as too why they could no longer keep there end of our agreement. They ask if I can wait a few days after they have been paid close too 20,000 for said vehicle. So I take off work early an drive over two hours to pick this vehicle up. I show up to get the vehicle it has less that a quarter tank of fuel as well as it hasn’t been detailed or washed. After owning the vehicle a little over a week only driving a little under 400 miles ( over 50 of which being due to the fact I had to pick the vehicle up) the cv axle snaps on 03/07/19. I call the dealership to see what can be done. I just now on 03/12/19 finally get ahold of the dealership after Continuously calling sent to voicemail or being hung up on. I am told there is nothing that they can do. I as well have still not received the title for this said vehicle. This has now all together cost me over 20,000 dollars. This has been the worst experience buying anything I have ever bought period. Can’t stress enough not to trust this company
Terrible “service” Department - AngryJeepOwner
DO NOT USE FOR SERVICE!! I took my vehicle in for them to look at the sunroof. I was impressed when I called their service department because they said they could get me right in. What they did not explain is that they just have people bring in cars and then get to them when they can. I called back that day, the following day, and two days later. Each time I was shamed and belittled for calling to check because they had not had time to get to my car. I called the following week and was told they were still work on it. A week later I called and they said they couldn’t do what they wanted but that they’d try something else. I tried to call back to check in but was on hold over 30 minutes and had another meeting and couldn’t wait. After their shaming and annoyance from the initial calls I was hesitant to continue calling and tried to be patient. The following week I got a voicemail from Aaron asking if they should begin the process of requesting the title for the vehicle or if I was going to come get it. They had it for over 3 weeks, never communicated, and did not fix a thing. They admitted to leaving the car outside in the rain, even though I brought it in because the sunroof started leaking! Terrible experience. Pick any other service department.
Lemon - Pat
Very unhappy with the dealership. Purchased several cars from them including a new one a few years back. My son bought me a used car from in December. It’s been setting for 5 months. Put less than 1000 miles on it and transmission is making a noise. The sales manager said nothing they can do. We were told by the salesman we would be taken care of. Yes we signed as is but I would think the dealership would help you out if you got bad car. I think they knew it when it was sold. I won’t be purchasing any other car from them and I will tell my friends too.
Close but reviews hurt - Truck, no dog or shotgun yet
Great salesperson. She followed up and sold her truck's virtues. Enjoyed talking with owner. They located a truck that I really needed to test. Deals were great, very tempting but in the end, reviews on another truck won out. Great staff that I met. No negatives.
Bought a Ram 1500 Big Horn pickup - Theresa A Matney
They were nice, the price was good and they even split the difference with us on running boards and installed them quickly. After the horrrible experience we had at Corwin this place was GREAT!
The overall customer service and experience with Fugate... - carrwatt1
The overall customer service and experience with Fugate Motors was a very pleasant experience. Rondle worked with me regarding getting my used vehicle in the price range I could afford and even sent Rollie, a wonderful gentleman to pick me up in Oak Grove, Mo, approximately 110 miles away as I didn't have a vehicle to get to the dealership.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle!
Poor service and very unprofessional. - Mr.Phillips
By Far The Worst Buying Experience I've Ever Had. Very Shady Business. Don't Inspect Vehicles. Office And Service Departments Are So Unorganized. No Communication Skills What So Ever.
GREAT EXPERIENCE - LDane
It's been nearly 5 years since I've financed a car and I was dreading it based on previous experiences. In the past it's been an all day process, I had to talk to multiple people to get a final price, trade-in value and financing options and there was always miles of paperwork to sign. Not so this time. I spent about 30 minutes after work talking with Doug Wade, taking a test drive and giving him general financial information for loan approval. He called first thing the next morning to let me know what an awesome rate Raeann was able to get me, so I went up on my lunch hour and was able to sign all paperwork during that time and walk out the door with the keys to my new car. I will definitely do business with them again.
absolutely horrible - sherif1957
DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP. THEY STOLE OUR MONEY AND WE NEVER GOT THE CAR.
We sent them a check for the vehicle, and they refused to give us our car because the check we sent them was from our old company, but they cashed it anyway and refused to give us the car or the money, now we are going through this whole legal system with them. Such a nightmare.
They have been my mechanics for a long time. When my car... - Rsmithson
They have been my mechanics for a long time. When my car finally quit they worked very well with me and got me in a car I could afford in three days! Great service and attitudes!
