Don Abney and Ed from financing are who I worked with and they were fantastic. They made sure that I understood everything going into the sell and what exactly I was purchasing. Wonderful service from both gentlemen.

Replacement of fuel pump - Preston
On vacation, had fuel pump replaced here. Very good service for the replacement. Left on our return trip home. Had issues filling up with gas. This continued for 3 week and got worst. Fuel tank was pulled by our local service dealer. They found fuel line was damaged during Hyatt's replacement of fuel pump causing a crimp in the line. Actually returned the fuel line to Jeff, the service manager, on our next visit to Myrtle Beach. He stated there should be reimbursement of the cost of the replacement line they damaged. A copy of invoice, pictures, and fuel line was left with Jeff. To date after many phone calls to Jeff, we have not received the courtesy of even a return call. We are a life-long customer of GMC for over 40 years.

Miami Swag With Southern Hospitality - Athletes' Mom
Luis was the most down to earth, understanding salesman I have ever met. After a weekend of "this is not what you want" conversations, Luis gave me EXACTLY what I wanted, needed and many more features that were requested. We did not talk just about cars we talked about life also which made it comfortable for us to make the right decision on the vehicle. He made sure that my family and I were satisfied with the purchase before sending papers. The entire process was AMAZING! It is like he is part of the family now!

I am both shocked, and Disappointed. About a week ago I was in this dealership for service as I am quite often. While there I was getting a cup of coffee and I over heard a conversation I never thought I would hear. A sales manager talking to what I assume is a salesman about a customer and calling the customer the "N" word for wanting to drive a truck. I stopped in my tracks when I heard this. I asked an employee who the sales manager was and his name is Carl Nelson. I hope, that the Bell family will do something about this, as I know this is not who they want representing them. I also hope that if asked the salesman that heard it would speak up.
They treated me as family. - Happy Happy

Sales experience - Sgj22
My recent visit I was greeted by Taylor the salesman. He was dressed in a button down shirt what about three buttons unbutton leaving his chest fully exposed like he was going to a nightclub on a date. I explain to him that my wife I just had dental surgery and I wanted to test drive a truck we took a short drive and I told him I was taking my wife home to Somerville and I would return to talk about this truck in the please hold it. Upon my return when I start to negotiate the price the price listed on the Internet page was 20 999, however Taylor brought out a sheet with 20 199 on it and then money taken off to reflect the Internet price. I must say I gave to counter offers and both format or resistance and negative body language! Then another sales person came out and explain to me that they could not go any lower on the price listed and made excuses for why! You made it very clear what I was willing to pay and what I thought was a reasonable offer in hopes that they would counter offer a little bit. No such luck! I was very unhappy as I’d already driven an hour and total time And waste another two hours of my time trying to buy this truck. Very disappointed in the salesmanship!
Deceptive Practices - Radiantredhead
I had been texting and calling Damian from their Internet sales team. I told him the car I want and where it was located and the bottom line price other dealers had offered me with a trade in of my car. I even had it in writing and he assured me they would meet or possibly BEAT that price, but I would have to go there in person. He knew the other dealers were willing to come to me, but insisted it had to be done this way and would be well worth my time. It was a complete and utter lie. When I got there, Jerry Hadwin, the owner, said no way can they match the other deal and would not even meet me halfway in price. He said it just was not worth his time. So after all the texts, calls, emails, lies and empty promises by Damian, I went home and asked Bell and Bell if they could accommodate me and they did. I love my new car and Bell and Bell has earned my business and I have told many people to go there and stay away from Hadwin-White. Other people had warned me about Hadwin-White's misleading practices, but I had to experience it for myself and regret wasting all my time with them.
Be cautious! - BobAz
It has long been rumored to be cautious when taking you vehicle for repairs to a new car dealership when it is out of warranty. I have personally experienced these kinds of incidents here in the Columbia area before. The latest being yesterday 9/26/19 at Love Buick/GMC. My wife owns a 2013 Back Enclave which she purchased used from the dealership about 4 years ago. Last week a mechanical problem developed with the lift gate. The hatch would electrically rise to the open position but, once fully extended you could hear and see the lifting rod jump and then the hatch would automatically close. I have some auto mechanical abilities through experience working on muscle cars in the 60s to the present time. However I did not want to fool with this issue due to an air bag in the general facility and felt confident about this dealership. Car was looked at and diagnosed to have a bad actuator. Total cost for repair was $880.90, $585 for the part alone. I inquired if there was away to by pass the actuator and just set up to manually open and close the hatcht? I was advised that there was no replacement part available to make that change. I decided that I did not want to have the repair done and paid the $89.95 diagnostic fee. Later I went online and found that I could purchase ACDelco actuator part#23245268 for $190.16 from Amazon, which I did. Having no experience with attempting this repair I managed to remove the actuator in about 45 mins. I visually examined the unit but, was unable to see any damage to it. Dump founded at this I stood there thinking about this problem when I noticed the two lift struts on either side of the hatch. Left one was good, right one had 0 resistance. Purchased 2 new struts from Advanced Auto for $69.80 with Limited Lifetime warranty. Installed the new struts, replaced the original actuator and all is good. This review is not intended to question their prices for making repairs. It is about leaving it up to you the reader to form an opinion about what occurred. One thing I would suggest. If you are having unknown issues with you car which was discovered by a repair facility, if possible, always ask for the replaced part if you are in doubt.
Very Impressed - bigcity
The service department is second to none. I had a major issue come up with my vehicle just outside of warranty. Johnson Motor Company was able to repair my truck the same day I brought it in even though the part required was on national back order. The best part, they were able to convince GM to cover the repair even though my vehicle was 7,000 miles outside of my preowned warranty. Very impressed!
I can recommend this dealership for service only, they do... - ls2gto
I can recommend this dealership for service only, they do a satisfactory job; not exactly the best, and sometimes take too long to get the job done. If you have a good relationship with them, you can get away with most aftermarket modifications on the vehicle without any problems of refused warranty work. Sales on the other hand, they are too uptight on the pricing and the salespersons do not do a good job to make you feel important enough to call you once a vehicle is available, etc. I ended up buying my car from a dealership about an hour away because I could actually haggle a price on it.
Customer Service Failure - Frank Banks
Bad at honoring Appointment made at least 30 days in advance for car repairs or Maintenance. I have waited for 60 days after 2 appointments were dropped due to The front desk Secretary's not calling to confirm online appointment and appointment made in person to repair radio wiring.
Best Customer Service - budgirl
Customer services is the best in town. Sales team is always willing to help me find what car I am wanting. Services department is fast and very friendly!
Best Dealer in Upstate SC - joel_taylor
Wakefield Automotive was great to deal! Jay Wakefield and his staff are tremendously friendly. They were able to locate the exact truck that I was looking for and we negotiated over the phone. I did not step foot in the dealership until I picked up the vehicle. Jay was quick to return phone calls or would even text me to say that he would call me back soon.
There were no processing fees and they gave me the best price out of all the dealers in the upstate SC area.
They didn't push any "extra" packages on me. I have even had some followup conversations with them after the sale.
You can't go wrong in dealing with Wakefield Buick GMC. They were highly recommended to me and I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a new vehicle!
