I was very close to finalizing a purchase with this - pinkbarb
I was very close to finalizing a purchase with this dealership and had already involved my bank, provided my credit information, and was fully prepared to move forward. The experience took a very disappointing turn when i asked General Manager Chris Diaz if they would be willing to meet me halfway on approximately $8,000 in add-on charges. Within 10 minutes of asking that question, I was told the vehicle had suddenly been "sold". What makes this especially concerning is that at no point prior to that moment was i ever informed that there was another interested buyer, that there was urgency, or that I needed to place a deposit to secure the vehicle. There was no indication whatsoever that the vehicle was at risk of being sold. The timing of being told the vehicle was sold immediately after questioning the add-ons felt extremely questionable and unprofessional. Additionally, I was initially told that I could not finance through my own bank, which is not typical and raised concerns from the beginning. I would have expected a much higher of professionalism ... especially from a General Manager at an Audi dealership. When I previously purchased my Audi from an Audi dealership in Atlanta, the experience was completely different. I felt valued as a customer, and the process was transparent and respectful. This experience, unfortunately, was the opposite. I was a serious buyer , ready to move forward, and instead felt dismissed the moment I asked reasonable questions. I would strongly encourage others to ask detailed questions upfront and proceed with caution, especially when dealing with Mr. Diaz.
