Had frame replaced on 2008 Toyota Tacoma what a disaster. Loose parts, uninstalled parts, grease all over interior when I picked vehicle up. Damage to vehicle front drive line, most wiring unsecured with lots of broken or missing clips. Truck was not aligned properly after frame installed and wondered all over the place. If you need a frame replaced or maintenance you should try elsewhere. The absolute worst!

Very weak warrenty. Looks better on tv than what the dealer owners actually stand by.
Inconsistent mechanic inspections and or shady work.
Have not had any positive experience at all after the initial purchase of our vehicle.
Since they dont stand by the warrenty why would i ever want to go back if they couldn't fix the problems the first time.
However there are several other repair shops or car dealers in the town of Hayward that do put the customer first. That my personal opinion.
I Don't forsee this dealer being around with a good reputation for much longer.
Im giving a negative response based on several negative experiences.

We are new to the area and brought our Sequoia in for some work. We were quoted $800 to repair a wheel bearing. I would have naively payed that outrageous fee had my husband not raised a red flag alerting me that it was way too much. We called our old Toyota Dealer and asked them to check that quote. They said Hesser was high by 100 percent. At this point Hesser still had our vehicle in their possession. As a favor to us, the technician at Continental Toyota called Hesser on our behalf to alert them that the quote was grossly incorrect. Hesser's service writer admitted that the quote really should have been $422. Are they completely incompetent or are they trying to take advantage of people who don't know any better? This was the first red flag. After they completed the repair and we paid the new lower amount, we continued to have problems so we drove the vehicle 2 hours south back to Continental Toyota who told us that Hesser tore the grease fitting boot while doing the repair and that the air box was completely disassembled and left apart. This is a serious mistake which left no grease in the bearing. We are having Hesser's mistakes repaired at Continental Toyota in Hodgkins, IL at our expense and are paying for a rental car on top of it. Hesser is refusing to reimburse us or Continental Motors for the repairs and has even suggested that Continental Toyota sabotaged their work! . What they want us to do is drive the vehicle 3 hours north with no grease for them to get a 2nd chance at repairing it. To drive this vehicle would not only endanger us, the passengers, but would also create further damage to the vehicle. When my husband questioned the insanity of this suggestion Mr. Hesser agreed to flat bed our truck the 3 hour distance and said that to assure us that they did the work correctly the 2nd time that I would have a chance to review the tech's work. Me???? I am supposed to know good work from bad? Insane!! He is more interested in winning an argument than on doing what's right which is to admit they made a mistake and reimburse us for having the repair done elsewhere. Mr. Hesser is way out of line, insulting and has zero customer service or problem solving skills. Find another dealer!!!

First I should say I bought the car new from this dealership and has had every service made at this dealership (exception tire rotation).
Made an appointment almost two weeks ago for an oil change. The service employee gave me a clear quote (including taxes) and even mentioned that he would guarantee it. Said it would same oil as last time. I drop the car of today. When I dropped it off today I mentioned that quoted rate and she said not a problem.
When I picked it the bill went from the $39 agreed upon price to $61. It is THAT simple. Instead of acknowledging the conversation and confirmation that we had when I dropped it off, she just kept trying to justify it. And the Manager of the Service department joined it. Just kept trying to break it down.

Jerry even dropped me off at my office so I didn't have to call for a cab. I only use them now for service and bought my last car from them too.

The dealership service people are courteous, but the service department did not fix the problem with the back door on my 2016 Highlander. Further, they are content knowing that it is not fixed. I've brought in the Highlander several times to get the back door fixed. The last time, they acknowledged it was not fixed but said there is nothing more they can do. A couple of Saturdays ago, we had some food fall to the ground while we were trying to open the back door.

When bringing car in for a standard oil change, we went over the maintenance history and found the coolant was overdue. Added it to the appointment, no big deal. It was after I signed off that the service adviser made me aware that my wait time went from 1-1.5 hours, to about 3 hours, which, if I knew it was going to be that much longer, I would have scheduled another appointment to come back to perform that maintenance that way I wouldn't spend so much time waiting. When going over the multi-point inspection, my service adviser was pushing very hard to upsell repair items and the upcoming tire special, and when I pushed back and declined, went on to have an inappreciable attitude and tone. When my vehicle was finally done (~3.25 hours), I asked my Service Adviser how to read the coolant levels. His first response was "You just look at it. It's pretty easy." which, as a college student who is unfamiliar with cars and owns a car that has 2 coolant systems (Prius), the condescending answer was not necessary. He did come with me and showed me himself (didn't bother to get a service technician) and had trouble finding it himself. Overall my experience was that while initially friendly, staff were eager and pushy to upsell, showed poor customer service to those that declined, and were not transparent about wait-times.

I had an urgent issue with my car. My power steering went to xxxx the day before I had to drive to the cities with my daughter. I called and Joel took care of me. Got me in same day and on my way in time for her flight. While there they were great with my daughter. She wants to go see them all again. Also a special thank you to Mike for fitting in my car with your busy schedule. Simply amaizing experience.
