I am used to professionalism and respect. I did not find either at Hertrich Chevrolet in Dover. At the service desk, I was meant with blunt and uninterested service rep. I felt too rushed and was not offered an explanation of exactly what is going on with my vehicle. Upon entering the waiting area, I was met with two or three Scatta chairs. The winning area is dirty and give the vibe of a daycare center. The table is extremely low and offers nothing to drink to the customers. I must say, there is a young lady that works in the service department. That is very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, she was not the one that I had the opportunity to deal with. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone. Furthermore, after your vehicle has been worked on and is ready to be picked up, you yourself have to go outside down the rows of mini park vehicles to find on your own your vehicle. No one brings it up to you and you can forget about a car wash. I am currently looking for another car dealership to call Home. Never again.

I shared with her an unpleasant experience I had at a different dealership and she made sure this didn’t happen at Hertrich Easton. I will definitely recommend this dealership to others. My salesman Brite Sterling was great. He had a car brought from another location for me to test drive. He helped me think through my buying process and ultimately I purchased a new Chevrolet Trax. He was positive and helpful and friendly. The other team members- Robby in finance and Kendall the loan processor were also helpful, friendly and positive. I was so relieved to have all of them as my car buying team.

When I had a minor issue with the car, they went out of their way to see that the issue was resolved. This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Bayside and both experiences have been great.

I am completely disgusted with the manner in which this dealership works. My husband & I went to the TATE CHEVY to purchase a vehicle WITHOUT utilizing the financing of this company (meaning we were paying "cash" for the vehicle by using financing from our Credit Union). After we were chose the vehicle and agreed upon a price, we were still asked to submit a credit application in the event there was a "problem with the check". We explained that we did not want our credit to be run, however we signed the form and added next to our signature "Not to be run unless there is a problem with the check from ___ bank". When we finally were taken to the finance manager, Brian T. McCabe, to sign-off on the vehicle, it was brought to our attention that TATE had run a credit report. It seems that it was not relayed to us that TATE has a company policy to run a credit report on ALL customers that use any other form of payment other than their financing. After 4 hours of belaboring the purchase of the vehicle, we were informed that there was a 10-day waiting period before we could accept delivery of our vehicle. Upon further investigation we were not the first to be "duped" into this scam. I am disgusted by the practices of TATE CHEVY and warn all that wish to purchase vehicles from them.
