I have never had a better car-buying experience than I did with Levi Klinkel at Mike Molstead Motors. I never leave reviews, but with this experience, I felt it necessary. Most of our deal was done via a messaging app through the dealership. I never felt pushed or rushed into my purchase. They were extremely accommodating. I talked with Ryan Driscoll in finance, and he answered all of my questions over the phone. With my busy schedule and being located an hour from the dealership, Levi delivered the vehicle to me, and we completed all of the paperwork at my home with no additional charge. Ryan had everything marked out where to sign. It was awesome. I also bought a vehicle that qualified for the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty at no additional cost, with the choice to have it serviced by a certified mechanic at a location of my choice. Thanks again to Levi and Ryan for this great experience. This is how car buying should be!

They even did it as a one stop shop and helped me get my financing and registration done in house so I didn’t have to go all over. After long stretch of depending on writing a review or not, this is my short and honest review. I have also had an experience with a salesman named Patrick who seemed to be friendly and outgoing at the beginning. We saw the “numbers” (which did not match any of the discounts online if you did your own math calculating interest, tax, title, and license) prior to getting credit pulled and said we aren’t going to be able to do it. He tried hard and long to get us to lease the truck and we were about to walk out. He got us in a “cheaper” truck that would make numbers better, well a little better. The owner was saying he should be able to get us possibly around $499 a month for a lease. Welp we were still a minimum of $100 a month off. In the middle of all of the going back and forth they seemed to focus on talking to me more than my wife even though we would both be on the title or lease together. When we didn’t want to do the deal Patrick also started to become full of himself.l and pushy with trying to guilt trip us into buying the vehicle. We agreed on a truck but it wasn’t going to be there for a few days. My wife and I slept on it and backed out before we officially pulled credit to get the final numbers. We received multiple phone calls after we called and said that we are no longer going to do the lease. He were hoping/praying a young couple would make the mistake of leasing a $60,000 truck. I was hoping for a better experience but even after telling him no multiple times we had to block his phone number. Glad we slept on the deal and didn’t do business with Patrick and or his dealership.

I took my truck in with oil light on...was told it was a sensor and still OK to drive. They replaced the sensor the next week. The oil light still came back on. Said it was probably the contacts, but couldn't look at it then, still OK to drive.....well, I ended up needing a new engine as that one apparently didn't run too well WITHOUT getting oil. :(

Worst customer service ever - Tellitlikeitis

I've taken my car here several times for service over the last two years for various issues. The last straw was in the October. I noticed my car was leaking orangish fluid , and I could hear a gurgling sound under the hood right after I shut the engine off. It took them no less than THREE times to do the job right. The final time I took it in, I was cashing out and was told it was $300 more than what they had quoted me!!! They "made a mistake" is the excuse I was given. Left the main part totally off the invoice. Unbelievable. Kris at the Service Dept. desk is extremely rude. She obviously doesn't understand customer service at all. She acts as if you are bothering her. When I told her the final time how upset I was, she couldn't have cared less. Worst experience ever. Won't do business with them again. I'll go to Sioux Falls before I'd deal with this place!
