This is clearly not the case when working with Handy Downtown. I was sold an 08’ Tundra that was simply put, broken. I regrettably did not check the 4WD when test driving. The first time I needed it I switched it into 4WD and it would not turn over. I was sold a vehicle with a broken Actuator which Handy said was not covered under their 30 day extended warranty nor the 36,000 mile warranty I purchased with the vehicle. After negotiating back and forth they covered the cost of the part but stuck me, the consumer, with the labor bill. Labor that should have been done long before this vehicle ever went on a certified dealership’s lot. A part that should have easily been caught during a proper inspection. Case in point, Handy Downtown did not own up to it’s failure as a reputable used car dealership and I, nor anyone I speak to in the future, will be working with Handy Toyota in St. Albans, VT again. OWN IT! More

His coverage of extended warranty was very well explained and he convinced us that extended warranty service was the best way to go. Mason is a very polite, intellengent smart person whom we enjoyed very much. Not sure how you were able to connect with him after all the previous car dealerships he worked at but sure glad you did. Washed my recently purchased (one week ago) 2018 “New“ 4Runner today for the first time and Never will I ever buy a vehicle from Handy Toyota again!!! Washed my recently purchased (one week ago) 2018 “New“ 4Runner today for the first time and found some surprising damage that was NEVER disclosed to me!!! Clearly something was transported in my vehicle and pulled out across the back bumper causing damage!! First time I opened the hatch and this is what we find?????? We test drove a different 4Runner and never did a walk around because it was pouring rain out. You would think you could trust a dealership with a brand new vehicle but clearly I was wrong! Buyer beware Handy Toyota doesn’t care about their customers only the $$$$ please get the word out!!!! More
