Back in March 2025, my husband and I drove 2. 5 hours away to purchase this Ford Buy Back 2023 Explorer from your dealership. FIRST ISSUE, NO WHERE was that FORD BUY BACK noted on your website, w 5 hours away to purchase this Ford Buy Back 2023 Explorer from your dealership. FIRST ISSUE, NO WHERE was that FORD BUY BACK noted on your website, which would have steered us away from this purchase. We were not told about Ford Buy Back until we sat down to purchase this Explorer. At that time, the salesman downplayed the Ford Buy Back program, explaining to us that in this case the previous owner brought this vehicle back to Ford Dealerships many times for a noise in the front end. To which, Ford ending up buying the vehicle back and completing a 360 review, fixing any issues. Sounded great to us, why would more people not purchase Ford Buy Backs, WELP, after purchasing we found out WHY! SECOND ISSUE, a TITLE ISSUE!!! (WHICH IS A HUGE ISSUE!!!) My insurance company LATER informed me that this Title is showing damaged (accident). HOLD UP, WHAT?!?! I explained that this car has never been in an accident, yet she informed me that is what the Title is showing. However, we went through with the purchase and drove away with what I THOUGHT was a great purchase...boy was I mistaken! THIRD ISSUE, we receive letters in the mail (with Letterheads of CEFCU), that says "Your request for a loan was carefully considered, and we regret that we are unable to approve your application at this time." We freak out as we have bought this car on a Saturday and now have the car in our possession, but we have been told our car loan didn't go through. Being a proactive person, I had already been pre-approved with my bank, so I called them right away. But you might ask yourself, why didn't you go with your original pre-approval, oh well that was because of the FORD BUY BACK! We were told by our salesman at the time of the purchase that my bank doesn't finance Ford Buy Backs and that we should use the bank he finds (CEFCU). But back to being the proactive person I am, I called my bank, and they started processing my application again. In the meantime, I call CEFCU, and they say, "We didn't issue that letter, the dealership did!" Then I call Mike Murphy Ford - Finance, and they say, "We didn't issue that letter, CEFCU did!" BUT that we can rest assure, CEFCU processed our loan, and we were approved. WHY WOULD WE GET A LETTER THAT SAYS OUR LOAN WASN'T APPROVED when it in FACT WAS??????? Now let's circle back to the FOURTH ISSUE, the MISSING TITLE! We have purchased over 15 cars in the last 20 years, and I will tell you that I have NEVER had this BAD of an experience! We have purchase 3 of those 15 cars out of state as well. And when I tell you I have NEVER had a title sent to my house, expect for pay when paid off. Yet, Mike Murphy Ford supposedly sent the Title to our house, NOT the financial institution. MIKE MURPHY FORD SHOULD HAVE SENT THE TITLE TO CEFCU!! I start to wonder why I haven't heard from CEFCU or the local DMV about the Title, so I call CEFCU. They explain they have no record of ever receiving the Title. So then I call Vanessa at Mike Murphy Ford and she explains to me that it was overnighted to my house. I let her know that the Title is not at my house! NOTE: Out of all this, Vanessa has been the only one who has been on top of things and super helpful! Vanessa then reaches out to whoever and they begin working on getting a Duplicate Title which can take up to 5 WEEKS! FIFTH ISSUE, my temporary plate will EXPIRE ON 30 MAY 2025. Which means that since I can't work with IOWA DMV to do Tax/Title/License since they don't have the Title, the Explorer will sit! I will potentially have to make TWO car payments on a car I can't drive because IT HAS NO VALID LICENSE and a MISSING TITLE!!! I am so disappointed with this experience. Some things that have occurred in this situation could have been easily avoidable if Mike Murphy Ford were honest. Some other things could have been avoidable if Mike Murphy Ford would have had better business practices in place. I have emailed owner twice no reply More

I have requested, initially and in a followup email that someone communicate with me via email over a phone call as I am receiving a lot of scammer calls. Someone may have called (about 4x) but there was no notification as to who may have called and they have left no VM for me to respond to. In fairness with my reviews, I have had an initial text from Nick and a Welcome email from Dalton, thus the middle of the road reviews as I have not gone past that. More
