Subaru had at the time, a program where car owners that suffered damage to their car from Hurricane Ian would get a $500 discount from Subaru towards the purchase of their new car- to my shock, horror and suffered damage to their car from Hurricane Ian would get a $500 discount from Subaru towards the purchase of their new car- to my shock, horror and disgust ,a Jacksonville Subaru (Josh)employee took it upon himself to physically and verbally accost me, accusing me of misrepresenting or falsifying the terms of the offer! despite his assertions, Subaru DID NOT require the hurricane damage to be a 'total loss' nor even that there be an insurance claim, only that the customer reside in an affected area and that there was other evidence of the damage or loss (i.e. photos) it was an incredibly outrageous experience and I would have walked out were it not for the efforts of the salesman (Jerome) who impressed on me his belief that all of Subaru of Jacksonville was a team, a team to be regarded highly despite any shortcomings of any individual team member. that said, I would not return to Subaru of Jacksonville nor recommend them to anyone , not while nearby alternatives exist More
