I started in 1974 washing cars and thereafter filled many positions and assumed added responsibilities within the Klaben Auto Group prior to attaining my current leadership position. With the guidance and mentoring I received from my Father, Al Klaben Sr., I have remained true to the core principles upon which our business was founded. Thank you for taking the time to share you experience and provide valuable feedback. Thank you, as well, for responding to my request and spending quality time on the phone with me. I am very sorry for the experiences you described. This is not acceptable and not how we do business. It is very disturbing for me personally as our culture is customer driven, based on total integrity and dependent upon transparency and full disclosure. Regardless, the only thing that matters is your individual experiences, your perception and your satisfaction. As we discussed, I have a responsibility to address your concerns immediately. First, I must make things right for you and then I must address the internal issue that allowed you to leave Klaben feeling you were cheated. I assure you that I take this very seriously. Your input provided me with helpful feedback that I will use in team meetings as well as individual counseling sessions. As I assured you on the phone, you don't have to worry about making trouble for any team member. We bring this information to our team members in a consultative fashion, to learn from our mistakes and improve moving forward. Of course, if someone was truly guilty of fraudulent actions, that would be cause for dismissal. I am confident that our collective failure was in our team member (or members) failing to communicate adequately and/or making assumptions in lieu of clear explanations. Ultimately, the responsibility falls back to me and I take full responsibility for failing to deliver the level of service your deserve and the quality of service that instills confidence and trust.
