I expected alot more from this dealership. - rey.mosqueda20
I expected alot more from this dealership. I always heard some good comments about this dealership. So my family and I took a chance with moss bross chevy and checked out there truck inventory. Mind you we already had an appointment with another dealership for a truck test drive. But we wanted to keep it local with the community. So at first the sales person seemed very professional, respectful. I stated what I wanted , he showed me what they had in stock. I instantly liked a truck that he showed us. The price was too high for us in the beginning but he was able to knock the price down for us. Although it wasnt what he guaranteed what he can drop the price too i was still content with the markdown . So we pulled the trigger and closed the deal!! My family was super happy for the "Monster truck" from what my boys call it. Now comes the downside of this whole sale, the front center seat belt buckle does not lock!! Definitely a safety hazard for my family, the sales man knew about this and still sold us the truck, he calls me after leaving the dealership saying "dont have no one set in the front seat." What kind of professionalism is that!! Also literally the following morning, I noticed a huge leak coming from the truck (oil/coolant) and I'm not talking about a few drops this was more like a puddle. I called the sales man to stress about this. He mentioned to bring the truck in and they would take care of it with the seat belt buckle. Im like cool!! . I took the truck in with the service department, at first they did not want to take the truck in because my extended warranty was not active!! I'm thinking to myself why do i need my extended warranty to fix an existing problem. Luckily the sales man was able to help out confirm to the sales advisor to take the truck in. I left the truck with them for about a week then asked for an update, it was not even looked at nor the seat belt buckle was fixed. I asked what is going on and they stated "were waiting for your extended warranty to be active," they said it can take up to 30 days to get it active. I thought from what the sales man said "we will take care of it" meant they would fix the problems. So I took the truck out of the shop and just asked to keep me updated with the warranty. This was on a 05/02/25. Now the check engine light turns on!!! Great.
The sales manager calls me 05/05/25 and tells me the warranty is active to bring the truck in. I take the truck to the service department once again, the chevy advisor says that they will take the truck to dodge service department, they will be handling the repairs. Cool!! Now we're getting somewhere. So fast forward to 05/08/25 the dodge advisor gives me an update, and sad to say this truck needs alot of MAJOR fixing. So I'm definitely furious with this sale. I strongly belive that they knew this truck needed alot of mechanical work and they were untruthful with the history of the truck. I even asked the sales man after I read the car fax if the truck had these major maintenance that the truck called for because there were no information about it. He stated "I'm sure they did, dodge keeps up with all major maintenance." So now I am just waiting to see what will happen to this truck, and hopefully this dealership can make this right.
