Solid professional sales experience - Lvo
I have not bought a car from a dealer in 11 years and was dreading the experience. I made the rounds at several places and it was even worse than I anticipated. The sales people were disinterested even though we made it clear we were highly motivated to buy a car, new or CPO, as soon as possible. Each visit and test drive took forever for no apparent reason. Then a friend of mine was helping me with my despair and found a car for me at Mohegan...and she recommended I work with the sales person who had helped her buy her car, Anthony Augusta. I called Anthony, made a time to drive the car. It was a super pleasant experience. It was fast, he was knowledgeable and no hard sales pitch, just the facts. When my husband went to pick up the car, Anthony spent time going over some of the cooler features as we have a lot of tech improvements to catch up on! then his follow up with helping us get plates etc was seamless.
I highly recommend this dealership, and Anthony.

Recently, I was notified that my Audi had a recalled part that made driving unsafe. I have a summer road trip coming up with my fiancée and I was extremely nervous to drive my Audi without having performed this recall. I called a number of dealers in a 500-mile radius and found many of the people on the phone came off as disgruntled or rude. What’s worse is that the wait time for parts would be upwards of two months. I read about Maguire’s Audi of Ithaca and I thought to give them a try. The person who scheduled my appointment was friendly and assured me they would have the parts in within a week, and scheduled my appointment at a convenient time.
On the day of my appointment, I arrived in Ithaca (beautiful town) and Theo got me checked in quickly and courteously. He explained what was being done and how long it should take. As the repair was progressing, he checked in with me to let me know how much longer it would be, and to ask my input. Theo was professional, and extremely friendly. I stopped by the parts desk to inquire for a friend about some Toyota parts and the lady at the parts desk was also quite friendly and easy to talk to. I discovered that what I was quoted $150 for at my local dealer was being sold at Maguire’s parts desk for $25! How is this possible!
As I wandered the premises, I found everything to be clean and bright and well laid out. They even have a business centre next to the waiting area, with computers and free wifi.
When I wandered over to the Audi showroom, I was greeted by Jackie. She made me feel right at home and we talked about some of the awesome new Audi cars and their features, and she showcased their products while making me feel like I was important, but never once making me feel pressured. She made me feel like I was dealing with a kind, caring, and knowledgeable human being who has a great deal of good knowledge, but without the arrogance or disrespect that commonly accompanies that knowledge. She even checked with the service desk to give me an update on how much longer my Audi would take!
When the service was completed, Theo walked me through everything that had been done, and I came out to find my car washed and parked in front of the door!
I wish every dealership experience could be like this- friendly, professional, competent staff, quick and convenient scheduling, and great prices. I will certainly be happy to make the 250-mile drive again next time I need a dealer service.

I am writing this because I was so impressed with the staff over at Audi of Smithtown. My experience was easy and stress-free, to say the least. Mustafa Ali helped me with my purchase. I was looking for a Certified Pre-Owned TT, and he was quite detailed and thorough in finding me the best deal. He, along with Oz Ali, are very attentive and conscientious to the buyer's needs. Oz took the time to thoroughly explain all my financing options. On the day I first checked out the TT, I noticed a small scratch on the door. Mustafa saw to it that it was repaired immediately before I picked it up. That is the type of service you hope to expect from a dealer and they delivered in every aspect. If you are in the market for a new or CPO Audi, I cannot stress enough that you visit Mustafa at Audi of Smithtown first.

I'm am very happy, I dealt w/Miguel Santos from Finance Dept, I'm a former customer, and last purchased a vehicle in 2014. However at some point in the car's life the extended warranty went missing. I called to have a copy sent to me. It did take a few days, but he was able to find the hard copy as it hadn't been updated to digital format. It wasn't a urgent request yet he made it so. I'm very grateful.

Fantastic experience in purchasing a new Q5, John Kwon is the guy to go to, its very hard to find sales rep that actually talks to you like a human, and rather than worrying about their commission, John values your time and gets you in and out, we spoke to him on the phone, email, text and finally saw him in person, (in that order) and the experience with him got better and better each time. Our purchase was relatively easy, but then got REALLY hectic, and honestly i was surprised at how patient John was, I wouldn't even blame him if he got slightly upset since we cancelled on him many times lol, but he remained very professional and pleasant the ENTIRE time.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the service recently provided at Schmitt's. This is my first leased car, and they have been very helpful and courteous every step of the way and have answered any and all of my questions. All of the staff have been very friendly, going out of their way to make me feel like a valued customer. From the time I phoned to make an appointment, speaking to a very friendly clerk, to the short time I spent in their comfortable customer lounge area, and complimentary car wash, I felt very welcomed and part of the "Schmitt's VW family". The staff was actually happy to see me and thanked me for my patronage! That made me feel very good about my lease and my relationship with them, and it reminded me of the kind of 'throw-back' service that you used to get - when businesses cared about you and the customer came first...! THANK YOU for treating me like you really cared!
Recommended unecessary service - loveaudi
Be very careful with their service department. They were quick to recommend unecessary services in addition to the initial problem. In the end they were unable to correct the initial problem and simply said that the engine needed to be replaced. Shows me that they are more concerned about generating revenue that helping the customer. Find yourself an good independent garage!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. This dealership is beyond shady. Audi CPO means that the vehicle has been certified as being the best that Audi has to offer in a used car. We're told by Audi that a CPO goes through a 360 point inspection. We drove 2 hours to look at a CPO vehicle on the lot for 54k, which was 3k over book to begin with. What we were met with was a vehicle full of scratches and gouges into the sheet metal, marker on interior components, broken window shades, and tires in need of replacement. Yet the car was advertised as, and was labeled on the lot as a CPO. How can you CPO a car that hasn't been inspected and would barely pass a NYS safety inspection. When confronted, the manager Terry told me all the shady things he'd do to make the scratches disappear so he could sell it for the price listed, like paintwork. Undisclosed paint work on a vehicle is a big deal. Any paintwork that isn't factory is a serious risk to a buyer. Honestly he was an arrogant jerk, and exactly why used car dealers get such a bad reputation. The other two Q7 CPOs on the lot were also damaged, one had a torn bumper cover where the vehicle had been backed into and then over something, and the other had been in a major accident involving 3 of the 4 sides of the vehicle. Both were still listed as having completed Audi's 360 point certification process. If you value your time and money and don't want the "so are you going to buy right now" attitude, go elsewhere!!

Salesman was smug and rude, having sought help for minor issue with vehicle recently purchased from another dealer. Storm motors was in the area at the time. When I asked dealer if he had any ideas what I could do, reply was, "should have bought the truck here." That was it. No help at all. Left with a window that wouldn't close and chance of rain. Sounded like sour grapes to me
