I have never had problems with this dealership in the past. This time my assigned service department assistant was not competent to do his job. Week one I took the auto in for 60,000 mile work. The technician noticed a leak in the water pump and the power take unit (PTU). I was asked to leave the auto overnight so they could get the part in and do all of the work at once. I was called and told the part did not arrive, so I should take the auto home until next week.(No auto for two work days.) No call on Monday. I called on Tuesday, no return call. On Thursday at approximately 6:30 am I received a voice mail to bring it in at 7 am to get the work done. I was working out of town and did not see the message until midday. I called on Friday and did not get a return call. I called on Saturday and left a message that I would bring the car in Monday after work. No call to say no. I dropped it off on Monday after work. I called on Tuesday, no return call. I called on Wednesday and was told no technician available, but it will be done Thursday. I said I needed the vehicle on Thursday afternoon to work out of town. He said he would talk to the technician. He called back and asked me to return his call. I called back and he was gone. A different assistant called back and offered a loaner (I was never allowed to speak to a different assistant until this time).Wednesday evening I picked up the loaner from the efficient employee. I was told I would receive a call from the original assistant on Thursday. No call by 3 pm, so I called. He said he did not know the status of the work order, but would call me back. He called back and left a message stating it would be finished tomorrow. I was called by original assistant Friday morning and told the vehicle was ready to pick-up. Friday after work I returned the loaner and got my vehicle back. (Four more work days without my auto. ) Again, the competent assistant was there to process the return of the loaner.
Again, this is not the usual service from Dorsch, but it was an awful experience. I know it is difficult to find qualified staff. However, it should not have taken so long for Dorsch to get another employee in to fix the problem.

When I went to pay the bill, the same person answered my questions and explained everything in greater detail.

My name is Joe with NMotion Transportation. My appointment time was at 9am in the morning. I got to Kayser at 9:02am I was told to wait for the representative to assist me. After 37 minutes of me and my 11 year older daughter that I had waiting with me which I had to get to class, I decided that was to long and I had to get her to school and me back to my office for a meeting, in which I was now running late for. I instructed one of the other representatives to just have the guy call me when he was no longer busy. After a few hours he contacted me with the over priced quote, should I mention. I decided to go with the service thinking it would be convenient, considering the time I would save by not taking it to a different mechanic. “I was wrong” I was told my truck would be finished by Monday. Well, I got a call Monday saying that the part had malfunctioned and they had to order a new one and it would not be ready until the next day. Now here we are Tuesday, I just got off the phone with the same representative telling me that the part did not come in today, and maybe it will arrive tomorrow. Now in their defense they did give me a free rental while they have my truck. My business is my truck, I explained to him that everyday that they have my truck I’m loosing $700-$800 dollars. He than told me well we gave you a free rental. DID HE MISS THE POINT WHERE I SAID I USE MY TRUCK TO HAUL THINGS... I would understand if they gave me a truck rental to replace the truck I have so I can still make a living.. I’m so irritated

I had an 8:45 a.m appointment on 03/23/2021 for 2 recalls on my vehicle. When I called to schedule the girl told me she would "give me an 8:45 and get me in right away in the morning" so I brought my truck there and left it overnight. Before I left work at 3:00 I called the service department and they stated that it would be done at approximately 4:00 and I would be called when it was ready. At 4:45 I again called the service department but had to leave a message and was informed the service department closes at 6:00. At 5:50 I once again called the service department to find out my truck was actually finished! I had borrowed a vehicle for the day and had been under the assumption that an 8:45 a.m appointment meant that I would have my truck back that same day! With 10 minutes until close and my borrowed vehicle returned, I had no way to get from Appleton to Neenah in 10 minutes. Having not received a call throughout the day with an update (I had to call them 3 times) I had no vehicle for work this morning, therefore having to walk the mile to work (thank goodness it wasn't raining). I was informed that an 8:45 a.m appointment only means that they will work on your vehicle "when a technician with the capability and skill set" is available, but if you are there waiting for your vehicle they do it right away. I feel so disrespected! Our small business that has purchased fleet and personal vehicles only from Bergstrom for the past 20 years will never purchase from Bergstrom again.

I went in for a general diagnosis and had "$4,900" in issues they wanted to fix on my vehicle. I told them I wanted another opinion and took it took a local mechanic shop and they fixed my two "major issues" for $40 dollars. This is the second time Eau Claire Ford has done this to me. I actually told them that another mechanic shop fixed my issues for basically nothing and the first question they had was, "what was the name of the local shop?"I did not give them that information. People, stay away from their service department and take your vehicle to a local shop that actually aren't trying to drain your wallet and take advantage from people. STAY AWAY!

Inconsistent mechanic inspections and or shady work.
Have not had any positive experience at all after the initial purchase of our vehicle.
Since they dont stand by the warrenty why would i ever want to go back if they couldn't fix the problems the first time.
However there are several other repair shops or car dealers in the town of Hayward that do put the customer first. That my personal opinion.
I Don't forsee this dealer being around with a good reputation for much longer.
Im giving a negative response based on several negative experiences.

I had some major car problems and they were able to get it fixed and for a reasonable amount. Jerry and Rob were able to work around my schedule and get me in right away. Jerry even dropped me off at my office so I didn't have to call for a cab. I only use them now for service and bought my last car from them too.

Absolutely the worst experience Possible after having a rental car for 5 months link ford calls to tell me I the part is in for the airbag and the scheduled me to bring my car in that following Monday! So far so good so i drive all the way to rice lake which is an hour away and the get my car in and after waiting in the waiting room for 45 min the service rep Christy comes in and informs me that the job that was supposed to only take an hour and a half is actually going to take 3 1/2 hours and due to my specific make and model and they could not get it done that day and I needed to reschedule and they then informed me that I still needed to return the rental that day even though they couldn’t get my vehiy in for another week due to the thanksgiving holiday. So your telling me you want me to drive a vehicle that could potentially kill any passenger riding in my vehicle if something were to happen and the. Airbag went off what if I hit a deer I’d say the odds of that are 50/50 especially that time of year. Christys answer to that was for me just not to have anyone ride in my passenger seat. So not only did this place make me lose a days work to get my vehicle in now there trying to get me to drive my Unsafe vehicle and just don’t allow anyone to sit passenger I reminded her that it was in fact Thanksgiving weekend and I had plans to take my family to Iowa to to be with our extended family for the holiday so not riding passenger was not an option, At last after threading to call for myself Christy said I could go ahead and keep the rental till the 28th of November. So it seemed like all was going to be taken care of. So the 28 th I Have to have my boyfriend take my car and the rental back to rice lake and he had to bring a friend along to drive one of the vehicles down there because I could Nit get the day off in time. So after he has dropped of my car and now has taken back the rental just like we were told I get a phone call from the service manager Telling me that once agin they would not be able to fix my airbag however this time thee reason was because my car was too dirty and he was not going to have his mechanics lay on a floor that was unclean! As if that wasn’t rude enough he then proceeded to tell me that once I had my car detailed I could then reschedule and I would not be getting any help from their dealership I was just going to have to drive my Recalled ford until the car was clean and they could fit me in and he proceeded to tell me that hopefully nothing happens and the airbag goes off cause I really shouldn’t be driving it! Well then why are you forcing me to??!!! I am absolutely dumbfounded by the total lack of professionalism courtesy and overall concern these people had for my time ( by the time I actually got my airbag fixed I missed 4 days of work total ) but more importantly my family’s safety and well-being luckily nothing happened but what if it had ? Typically when a car sits parked for 5 months cause it’s unsafe to drive it will be dirty they had no problem with the cleanliness of it the first time I brought it in and they realized it would take longer. The management working in service and repair have NO business working there at all much less holding the titles they do they have really set a poor example and this dealership is not a place I would want to represent my company it name that’s for sure!!!
