We had a recent repair done on our 2017 Subaru Forester. This would have been a fairly expensive repair. Based on our long term relationship with this dealership, Tom and his team at Subaru was able to address this repair to my advantage.

It took 2 * calling and asking them to order the specific trailer hitch and wiring for my car to get the hitch. But they did not order the wiring. So it took 2 days to install all of this. I'm sure the installation went fine and a couple other things they did to my Ford Flex went well. But I was really discouraged that I had to call twice to get the ordering done and they still didn't order one of the items.

Great Service- They made the time! I was driving 1 hour into a 3 hour drive home when the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree; check engine, traction control, flashing cruise, abs light? I called the nearest service center, Bergstrom in Oshkosh asking if it was safe to continue to drive, could i stop in? At first I was told there were no open appointments, but then they said: stop in and we will look at it. 15 minutes later I was at the dealer. A short wait, and a polite young man came out and did a coutesy scan to diagnose the problem. He found it! I was okay to drive home, but would need to get some service in the near future. I am thankful and grateful this dealer understands cusotmer service! Only sad that they are so far from my home. My local dealer is no where close to this dealers service. I may have to plan a trip there just get the great service from this one.Thank you.

What is everyones worst fear when taking a vehicle in to be fixed? It's taking a vehicle somewhere that is dishonest and unreliable. Amir Mavrkis, my service manager still deserves five stars, but the service department cut corners and do not perform safety services inspections they claim to. After my hose replacement and "safety inspection" I pulled off the lot and my check tire pressure light came on. I immediately turned around and they were happy to check my tires "again". As I watched the technician check my tire pressure, one tire was flat and the rest incorrectly inflated after it was "checked" and marked complete on my paper work. I spoke with the manager today who told me "the tire pressure gauge could be malfunctioning" (even though every tire was off a different PSI) offered to put my car on a lift to show me the work that was done was completed, but I'm not a mechanic. This isn't a tire pressure issue, its an integrity issue! I trusted this dealership to do the work they said they would, and they lied.

After doing plenty of research I decided I had wanted to purchase a Subaru for my next vehicle. I had gone to Gustmans Subaru in Appleton and dealt with a salesman named Ed. He was informed that I was interested in the Subaru Crosstrek and was interested in the orange limited version. Upon calling the dealership to inform them I found this specific car online, Ed told me he would call me when it arrived at their dealership. I never received a call or heard back.
I had purchased my Crosstrek through Sommer's in Mequon and was very pleased with their service. Unfortunately, Gustmans was the closest dealer for me to have my oil changes and maintenance done. I had brought my car in for my first oil change and the service department had "forgotten" that I had a warranty package and charged me for my oil change. Upon my second oil change, the gentlemen in the service department explained the mix-up and told me that I would receive all 4 of my "free oil changes" that I paid for in my warranty.
Upon calling to schedule for an oil change, I tried explaining to the receptionist on the phone issues I was having going on with my security system and she told me in a very rude tone "we don't have time for that". I ended up just scheduling for my oil change. Upon going in for my 5th oil change, which should have been my 4th free one, I was charged for this oil change as I was "over the mileage" that is covered for the 4th oil change. I explained to them that they told me I would not be charged for this but they didn't care. When I told the receptionist that they screwed me out of an oil change and I was upset her response was "I hope you have a better New Years."
The service department here is very slow. Every time I came in for a regular oil change and maintenance check, I was there for a minimum of an hour and a half. The last oil change I received from them they had forgotten to put a plug back in my car, leading to my car leaking oil. I took my car into Sommer's in Mequon and they found the problem immediately.
I am overall very displeased with this dealer and do not intend on utilizing them in the future. I will make the 1.5 hour drive to Mequon for my services on my car in the future.

Have purchased 4 vehicles from Chilson. We love Subaru’s but do NOT like their service department schedulers/desk reps. Condescending at best and you know there’s an issue with the department when you receive follow up calls. Just went online to check a Cooper rebate status that they filled out for submission. It was declined because they did not install Cooper tires🙄

Had the absolute worst experience at this service center, one that was not only almost a MONTH out from scheduling, but also severely violated my trust and showed gross disrespect toward me. I was standing there out front, misc staff and people around, where i stood by myself as i came back to retrieve my car from service. I was then accused, and in the managers eyes, guilty of, supposedly calling the service employee who checked me in that morning a derogatory word. This, absolutely would not nor did happen, and from outside a running car, outdoors, both of us wearing masks, the radio turned down, and the shop working right on the side of us, i don't know how many times i needed to repeat myself, and just my name alone- but this man was absolutely positive that this indeed happened. So there i stood, the manager, another employee right with him, and me by myself on display being told(not questioned, but told- i indeed did say this, because, he believes his employees) that they do not tolerate those types of things and we can't have that. Agreed. Nor can I. The fact that it was ok to put a singular female front and center outside for everyone to witness this pop up trial of something that was already presumed to have happened, and being judged like that was equally horrifying and sickening. Never in my life, anywhere i've lived, shopped, been, has anything this surreal and so far off the spectrum happened. My buying experience here was great, and just moving here i thought i FINALLY had found a shop i can trust. If i had only known.

I recently needed all four of my brakes repaired...new pads...needed one rotor. They got me in right away the day I called and had me back on the road in a few hours. I was prepared that I was getting close to needing new brakes. Each time I brought in the car for oil and tire rotation, they kept me posted. I am so impressed at the professionalism of the service staff at Don Miller. They also explain everything to you and always call me prior to going over any estimate. Keep up the great work!

Very weak warrenty. Looks better on tv than what the dealer owners actually stand by.
Inconsistent mechanic inspections and or shady work.
Have not had any positive experience at all after the initial purchase of our vehicle.
Since they dont stand by the warrenty why would i ever want to go back if they couldn't fix the problems the first time.
However there are several other repair shops or car dealers in the town of Hayward that do put the customer first. That my personal opinion.
I Don't forsee this dealer being around with a good reputation for much longer.
Im giving a negative response based on several negative experiences.

I had some major car problems and they were able to get it fixed and for a reasonable amount. Jerry and Rob were able to work around my schedule and get me in right away. Jerry even dropped me off at my office so I didn't have to call for a cab. I only use them now for service and bought my last car from them too.

Got me in same day and on my way in time for her flight. While there they were great with my daughter. She wants to go see them all again.
