I had bought a 2020 ford escape from Jason pearman that had some body issues and it was the worst experience possible for my first time buying a car, thank god he is no longer there because I wouldn’t recommend him. I decided to give them a second chance and I went to Corey oxendine and he has been more then helpful and responsive he got me traded out of the escape into a 2024 ford edge and I couldn’t be happier with it. I highly reccommend Corey Oxendine and I think this boy deserves a raise or a promotion or something. He has beyond helped me when nobody else wanted to and I appreciate everything he did for me. Stay away from these shady folks. Lost a FOB, bought a new one here which ended up costing us $1,000 - the new fob never worked properly. Made an appointment to have it fixed. But before the appointment the jeep completely shut down. Had it towed to the dealership at our expense. Then paid for diagnostic test, and a new car battery, the old battery seemed to be working only the jeep wasnt. Then when we went to pick it up the day after the repairs were supposed to be done. They hadn’t even done the work! Had to sit around for over an hour while they tried to locate the paperwork then start working on the vehicle. The place is a complete clown show.

The CarMax of Bristol was a great location with lots of inventory to choose from. Luckily I was able to reserve my 2025 4Runner online before test driving so I had time to make travel arrangements to this location from out of state. Unfortunately, the vehicle reconditioning was not quite top tier as I found some leftover details from the last owner in several areas of the vehicle. It was also not noted in the car details that the liftgate power window regulator needed a whole assembly replacement, which has caused some inconvenience after purchasing the car. Brady Barker was very professional and kind, willing to help arrange service appointments, and has followed up with me after purchasing to make sure I am happy with the car and still in good shape. His associates were also helpful when reviewing NC DMV requirement documents for transferring registration from TN to NC. Overall, my experience at CarMax was great since I was only there for a couple of hours before I was able to drive off with my new car!

Oh what a great place NOT to buy a car…. Don’t every think of making a financial deal with Randy Marion used cars. Looked at cars Earlier this week, went back today to finalize the car purchase. I directly as the sales person how do I pay you/dealership…. Direct deposit, bank check, etc. Sales person told me “No, personal check or cash was acceptable”. Strange I must say. I told him I would not be paying cash and needed the bank routing numbers. Again he said no check would do. Given a pass to test drive the car until 6:00pm I returned around 4:00pm. Several people greeted me wanting wanting to know where I had been? My car I was buying had been sold to someone else and I was SOL. MUST say what a professional dealership do not to step foot in RANDY MARION Save a Lot, Hickory NC.

I waited a while to do a review, just because I've been bamboozled in the past by dealerships, so when it came down to it, I was honestly terrified. But I honestly think Cameron did an amazing job. This has been my first car that hasn't been a complete jalopy. Customer service and just the help was wonderful. I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for the great experience I had buying a Jaguar from Cosmos Motors. I had been searching for a very specific 2015 Jaguar F-Type SV8 for a few months when I found what I was looking for on the Cosmos Motors website. All the information posted on the website provided me with the necessary details to convince me to send an inquiry. I sent a message that evening stating my interest and was contacted the next day by a sales representative, Matt Glover. Matt was professional, knowledgeable, and understanding of my hesitancy. Most importantly, he was incredibly responsive to my endless barrage of calls/texts/questions – this was crucial to my decision to buy a car located 6 hours away from my home. Matt sent additional videos and closeups of the car. I cannot exaggerate what an amazing job their detail shop did preparing the car for sale. A 2015 black Jaguar is supposed to have a few swirl marks, minor scratches, and a chip here and there – it did not! In fact, after seeing the pics I asked Matt about the cost of ceramic coating. He introduced me to the detail shop manager, Jacob Bishop. Jacob took the time to explain how and what they used to detail the F-Type. I asked him about applying a protective film to vulnerable places on the car in conjunction with the ceramic coating. He recommended the areas to protect, explained why, and made me an offer on the price - to which I instantly agreed! I previously owned a black 2014 F-Type S V6 that had minor chips and swirls in the same areas Jacob described – he obviously knows his cars. Additionally, the previous quotes I received from shops in Northern Virginia for those same services on my 2014 Jag were significantly higher. The deal was made and all I needed to do was get to Cosmos to drive the car home. Matt arranged for a driver to pick me up at Charlotte Airport (about an hour from Cosmos). That sounds easy but our plane had to return to Dulles Airport 20 minutes away from landing in Charlotte and after three hours of delays, we were back in the sky. Matt and the Cosmos driver, Paul, were understanding, patient, and unshaken. Paul and I chatted all the way to the dealership, he was pleasant company and had some great stories. When I arrived at Cosmos, the car was ready and impressive as described. Matt and Jacob walked me around the car, describing what had been detailed, and we took it for a drive (yes, I am still smiling). The general manager, Chance Parsons, finalized the sale effortlessly and with the same laid-back friendly attitude. This was the theme from cradle to grave throughout this entire experience. Okay, I have to admit only one thing was disappointing. My drive home was about 375 miles, and they did not fill the car with gas. I should have asked, but it didn’t occur to me until I pulled out of the lot. Not necessary or even expected, but that would have been a nice touch. This is the longest review I have ever written (positive or negative). My dad sold cars for over 20 years, and I know most of the tricks and tactics they use to not only make the initial sale but too also push expensive add-ons and hidden fees. I cannot express how impressed I was with Matt, Jacob, Chance, Paul, and my overall experience purchasing a car from Cosmos Motors. Their entire team was incredibly helpful, courteous, and professional throughout the entire process. I would certainly recommend Cosmos Motors to my friends and would buy another car from them with total confidence and comfort. I will follow up with a 90-day review or as needed. Denny Wood

DISHONEST DEALERSHIP-SOLD ME A LEMON-I purchased a car from them last year. I DIDN'T EVEN GET THE CAR HOME BEFORE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. Took it back the next day and they sent it off to be fixed in Charlotte. In the meantime, there was a slow drip from my transmission line where their mechanic left a piece of tape before I even bought the vehicle. Eventually the pan filled and started spilling out, leaving my driveway and the back of my car covered in transmission fluid. Since there was a horrible smell and fluid everywhere, I took the car to the place where Mich's sent it the first time and the bill was over $1,000. They said the factory bolts had been removed from my car and replaced with non-certified parts. The dealership I took it to called Mich's and told them they should reimburse me because it was their mechanic's mistake. They refused even after I contacted them several times and said I should have brought it to them. Nobody in their right mind would return a car after these two negligent repair issues right off the bat. These guys gave me misleading information about the condition of my car and then provided poor customer service afterwards. Save yourself the headache and go to a reputable dealer. Looked at a car online got online was told it was there. Got message a couple hours later saying it wasn't there. Decided to go anyway. Looked at a Camry, the bank wouldn't approve it to many miles, looked at a newer Toyota got approved. It pulls to the left. All the tires were low and theres black sticky stuff all over the inside back glass. Cracked taillight hole in front bumper spider web from impact in rear bumper and still cost $17,000.. just be aware of what your getting into.

Whatever happened to honesty? Does it not mean anything anymore? I got a 2014 Dodge Avenger from them wasn’t even the car I was approved for but I needed a vehicle. I did put about 38,000 on it but I had to keep putting work into it. It had major and still has major oil leaks, bad ACM, Bad Compressor, bad oil sensors , bad alternator , bad battery, bad oil filter housing ,No Air, bad calipers and rotors, and recently found out that the oil cooler has leaked the entire time. I have taken my car back to zoom have paid nearly $3000 total in towing costs. It is now 2026 and I got this car late December of 2024 and I have Not been able to drive the car for nearly a year and it’s been very hard. Make matters worse rose I have been treated less than human. Zoom did send me an oil pump with some gaskets and I appreciate that but I’m f they would have done an inspection like they said they did they would have discovered that the car was not road safe. So in my opinion it is intentional deception.
