I dropped off my vehicle at 3:00 PM, and it appeared that the work was completed around 4:00 PM. However, my car was left outside in the rain, and I received no phone call, text message, or verbal notification that the service had been completed. Because of this, I became concerned and eventually found my vehicle myself in the parking lot. I then asked the service advisor, Jeremy Cooke, whether my vehicle was ready for pickup. While checking on my vehicle, he left the driver’s door open for an extended period of time in the rain, allowing a significant amount of rainwater to enter the interior of my car. After confirming the status of my vehicle, he did not explain the next steps or direct me to the payment counter verbally. Instead, he simply gestured with his hand, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. In addition, when it came time to pay, no explanation was provided regarding the work that had been performed on my vehicle. I had to ask myself what services had been completed before receiving any information. As a paying customer, I expected a clear explanation of the work performed without having to request it. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Failing to notify a customer that the service was complete, leaving the vehicle outside in the rain, allowing rainwater to enter the interior, and failing to provide basic communication regarding the service performed are all unacceptable. I expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer service. This was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had at King Honda in Opelika, Alabama.

I got my 2019 from here in 2024 and let me tell you my car has been nothing but absolute issues since I got it. Not even after the first 2 days my car breaks down and it has to be towed to the dealership and then if that wasn’t to top it all off I was screwed over in my monthly payments even with $1,000 down and with a trade in they gave me $6,000 they still screwed me over and tripled the cost of my car I wish I would’ve never have gotten it and I will absolutely never be back here they’ve lost all my business

I strongly recommend that people think carefully before buying a used vehicle from Sunny King Honda in Oxford, Alabama. I paid $19,000 for a 2019 Honda Pilot. About 15 minutes after leaving the dealership, the transmission developed serious problems. I returned immediately and reported the issue. Instead of taking responsibility or working toward a fair solution, I was told that I had caused the problem by driving with the parking brake engaged. I completely dispute that explanation. I asked to cancel the sale and receive a refund, but my request was denied. I was then asked to leave the dealership. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled and with the level of customer service I received. I am pursuing this matter through the appropriate legal and consumer protection channels. My advice to anyone buying a used vehicle is to get a complete independent mechanical inspection before purchasing, even if the vehicle is being sold by a dealership.

Sales Staff Including the General Manager(Jeff Hand) and Salesman Jack Lin went above and beyond in making me a customer. They were pleasant , courteous and professional in their negotiations with me. Overall very good buying experience. I'd like to note this is not my first rodeo, If all car purchasing transaction went like this, buying a new car would be better for all. I'm not easily persuaded, but I have to say I strongly recommend this dealership.

Very poor customer service. I took my 2024 Ridgeline for an oil change and tire rotation, and rear differential oil change. My 2 year service pass agreement was still valid but they told me they could not honor it for the oil change and tire rotation and that I would have to pay for that service. The service advisor said she would run it and maybe they could accept it. When I went to the cashier after being texted that my vehicle was ready, I had to pay for the oil change and tire rotation and discovered they did not change the rear differential oil. When I asked why, the cashier called the service advisor over. The service advisor said the vehicle’s maintenance minder did not say it needed to be changed so they did not do it, completely ignoring my request for it to be done and without consulting me before deciding not to do it. The service advisor said don’t worry about it, your vehicle is still under warranty. If I had not wanted that service done I would not have asked for it to be done. I called the Honda office in Atlanta, GA and they told me the tire rotation and oil change was covered under my service pass agreement and I should not have had to pay for it. I have called the dealer several times this week in an effort to speak with the service manager regarding my service experience and he has refused to return my calls.
