Was working on a deal with Christian on a Mazda. Came to an agreement on a price and put down when I was told by Tom was a fully refundable deposit if anything happened. Paid them, then not a third party PPI done, the mechanic was not allowed to drive the car, and discovered that along with the rotors being rusted there were multiple break codes on the car cleared. Decided not to go through with the purchase because of this, seemed like a health risk, tried to contact them about getting said deposit back and have heard nothing. They also lied on my credit application and doubled my income monthly, that one I'll have to talk to Huntington National Bank directly about. Be aware they say one thing and to another, will take your money for no services.

The folks at Joe Cooper Ford of Yukon are very hospitable and accommodating. The facilities from front to back are exceptional with a vehicle showroom, customer lounge with drinks/snacks and clean restrooms. Their service department is highly rated and accessible. I was looking for a used pickup. I found one on their website that I was really interested in. I researched it online filled out the paperwork to make sure I qualified before I drove 45 miles into their lot. I even called them and talked to a salesperson to make sure what I done was right and that the vehicle was there and I qualified for it. I made an appointment and drove in. The person I made the appointment with could not see me so someone else said they would help me. I gave them the information on the pickup I was interested in and told them I had already done the paperwork and showed them I was qualified. He looked it up on the computer and told me that although the truck was on the website it was not on the lot (yet). He left the office and about 20 minutes later a different salesperson showed up. He told me the other man was busy with another customer. He then proceeded to tell me I didn't qualify after all. However, if I wanted to look at a different pickup with over 50000 miles on it then one, I wanted to look at. I could get it. I told me no thank you and walked out. I really don't think that they wanted to help me because I was not the kind of customer they wanted to do business with. I would not recommend doing business with this company unless you come in with a lot of money a nice car and dressed in a suit. They will bend over backwards for someone like that but for an average citizen they cannot be bothered.

I live in the Dallas area so Okarche isn’t exactly down the road, however if it wasn’t for the amazing help that I received from Blayze, I wouldn’t be driving my dream car right now that I had been dreaming about for months. Blayze went above and beyond to help his customer and I highly doubt I will have such an amazing car buying experience from now on, I highly recommend Mainer Ford they are a down to earth dealership and they are very lucky to have Blayze working there. Really, please just consider going anywhere but here. I received the most disrespectful, snide, condescending, womanizing treatment from the salesman helping us, his sales manager, and the rest of the staff in general. My boyfriend, his father, and myself went in on a Friday night to look at a car for me, and we were treated fairly with a decent amount of respect. After some talk, we walked away without a deal we could agree on. Within an hour of leaving, I had an email from our salesman. The next day I negotiated on my own behalf and we eventually reached an agreement. I returned to the dealership solo, and after informing the staff that I would not be financing through them but would instead be handling my own financing directly with my credit union (as I have done with every vehicle I have ever purchased) I was met with resistance. The staff made several rude comments about how “inconventient” that is and how “it doesn’t make sense” and is “weird but do whatever you want.” I was spoken to like I am a child and like I am unintelligent/incapable of making decisions for myself. I was able to shake it off because I *thought* I was getting a good deal on a car I have wanted for a very long time. I went in to meet with an agent at the credit union I use, and our numbers for the total cost came up identical to each other’s per the information laid out in a purchase agreement, but different than the dealership’s bottom line on said agreement. I’ll spare the boring details, but among other things during a call about the discrepancy in price, the salesman told me this is “basic math, I don’t know what you don’t understand” and he laughed at me while stating “I’m really trying to remain professional here.” The call happened to be on speaker phone, and the bystanders who were in earshot had shock and disbelief painted all over their faces at his comments. I have never been made to feel like a joke in my life until that point. It goes without saying I backed out of the deal immediately and will happily take my money elsewhere. It should be noted, I emailed a manager regarding this situation. I received an “I’m sorry, we don’t usually conduct business that way” response that is pretty useless. My boyfriend, however, received calls almost immediately from different managers trying to apologize. Considering that it was never my boyfriend’s deal, the car was for me, I was the sole negotiating party, and I was the sole party responsible for the financing, this strikes me as odd. I hate to accuse any individual or business of sexism, but this sure feels a lot like unfair treatment due to the fact that I’m a young woman. Last I checked, my money is just as green as anyone else’s.
