During my 35K mile service one of the technicians did not replace a center cap to the right wheel of my Tacoma during the tire rotation. i returned to the dealership and was told it had to be ordered and mad replace a center cap to the right wheel of my Tacoma during the tire rotation. i returned to the dealership and was told it had to be ordered and made an appointment for a replacement to be installed. I called ahead and left a message for the appointment to ask if i could bring my vehicle earlier the day of the appt but did not get a response. I showed up for the appointment on time and waited in the waiting area. Approximately 10 minutes later the service rep came to me stating that he had bad news. He said that the part was damaged in shipping and it is currently on “national back order”. I had to travel to Phoenix and did not have time to argue and the service manager did not offer any solution or seem like he was interested to follow up with me. It is my opinion that your employees are dishonest. My wife and I have brought our vehicles to your dealership for service for the past few years. This is the first time that I have ever had parts stolen from my vehicle while taking it to any dealership. I also believe that the replacement part that was supposed to have been delivered and was supposed to have been damaged was never ordered. These parts are extremely durable and why wouldn’t the service rep have had it in his hand to show me the part during his explanation. By leaving me with an explanation that the part was on national back order, but no follow up at all, such as; “ I will make sure the order is submitted today and we will do what we can to get the part as soon as we can…” or something to the effect to let me know that your dealership actually cares about service, maybe I would not feel like I have been treated like a fool. My vehicle is coming up for a 40,000 mile service and I am not inclined to bring my vehicles to your “stealership” where my vehicle will slowly be disassembled and sold on the black market. Please give me a reason to return to your place of business. As of today almost two weeks later, I have not been contacted by anyone from your dealership.
