I scoured the internet for 2 years to locate the car that I wanted. Kian motors had the car in their inventory. I took a chance and called Layne Elrod at Kian Motors. Right from the onset he treated me as a close friend and not as a salesman. He made sure every question I had was answered to my satisfaction. He was not pushy but wanted to make sure that I got the right car for the right price. The process of buying my car, having it shipped from Texas to Florida, and finalizing the paperwork and payment was very smooth. all because of Layne Elrod. Our sales person was David Ruiz. He was professional and listened to my needs, He showed me both certified pre-owned Rav 4s and photos of 2025 cars that were in production. He never pressured me on my decisions. On April 8, I made a deposit on a new RAV4 that was under production and on May 17 I picked up my new car. He took his time helping me set up Toyota Connect and showed me many of the features. I’m a Toyota loyalist and keep cars for many years. I’ve had 3 Camrys since 1985 and have passed those cars onto children. We have 3 Toyotas at home: a Tacoma, a Corolla, and now my RAV4. I would highly recommend this dealership and David to friends and family.

I took my four-year-old Honda HR-V for his yearly Preventive Maintenance Check-Up. I requested an oil change, a tire rotation, a brake oil replacement, and since Texas doesn't require yearly vehicle safety inspections anymore, I asked for a 27-point Inspection to be performed. Manny, my Service Advisor, was very professional, easy to speak to, and very thorough. He actively listened to my questions and concerns regarding my Honda. Once the work was completed, Manny reviewed all the work that was done as well as the 27 Point Inspection and the tire rotation--which were complimentary, by the way. He even went above and beyond and washed my Honda for me. A lot of work was done and all safety points were inspected on my Honda in less than 75 minutes. While I was there, I took a stroll to admire the beautiful new Hondas. Eddie, one of the Honda Vehicle Experts, showed me the features and benefits of the 2025 H-RV, the Civic and the all new EV Prologue. If you're looking for a new Honda, this is where you NEED to go. I pulled into 5 Star Ford in Dallas about 1 hr before closing time on a Saturday night just to look at a couple of F-250s. I drove out a couple hours later with a brand new Roush F-250 and couldn’t be happier. I knew I was keeping their sales and finance team late past closing but they did it with a smile. I never once felt rushed to make a decision. The entire experience was actually enjoyable.

My only complaint about Kia of Round Rock is that they declined to transfer the specialty plates from our old car to the new one. The result will be a lot of unnecessary paperwork and a long delay while we wait for the DMV to send new plates to the dealer, which I will then have to take to the DMV (or maybe it's the county tax assessor-collector) to swap them for the specialty plates.
