I called Five Star Ford-NRH to ask about buying a certified used car. Alfred El-Darazi called me back and setup an appointment time to meet. My wife and I met Alfred, and we had a wonderful time talking with him about our families. It turns out that Alfred and my wife were born the same year. We test drove a 2022 Ford Explorer XLT to Ford's car wash they use for detailing their vehicles. We looked at two other Explorers and a Titanium Edge xx. We were sold on the car we test drove, and completed the paperwork to finance it. Alfred hustled around preparing the 2022 Ford Explorer XLT with new plates and a full tank of gas. He was very helpful, knew the car we were going to purchase, and a good sales consultant. We are very happy with our used one owner Ford Explorer XLT. After visiting and speaking with multiple other dealerships in the DFW area, none of them showed me the right truck the way Five Star Ford did. Big shoutout to my salesperson Alex Ruiz — he genuinely listened to what I was looking for and put me on the right truck. No pushing me toward something just to make a sale, no trying to upsell me on things I didn't need, just an honest effort to find the truck that actually fit what I was looking for. A big thank you to Jackson Velasquez who was also great to work with throughout the process. As well as Jacob Freeman who helped make the deal happen. The whole experience was professional from start to finish. No weird feelings, no high-pressure tactics, no games. They respected what I wanted and worked with me to make it happen. Let's start with the buying process. I was at this run-down dealership for almost 5 hours buying my truck. Having sold cars for a couple of years I know this was waaaaaaay too long. My salesperson wasn't knowledgeable at all. When we couldn't come to terms on the truck I was on my way out, starting up my vehicle when they waived me back inside. Turns out the could make the deal I wanted. I went through finance (also very unprofessional), signed all of my paperwork and about 2hrs later I was driving home. About a week later I got a call from Will (sales manager) saying I would have to give them an additional $200 down and buy a warranty that would increase my payments by about $20 a month. Having sold cars I know that my deal had been sitting in the finance office for a week trying to find a lender to purchase it at the terms we agreed on. When they couldn't find one that wouldn't take some of their profit away to take the deal they called me to "sweeten" it for them so they could at least make some money on the back end in finance. The sales "manager" Will was very confronational with me when I let him know I knew my rights and knew what was going on. This dealership is a run-down piece of junk and their "sales" staff is a joke, their finance department is an un-organized joke. I wouldn't recommend giving this place your business unless you're ready to be jerked around and lied to. This place is a joke.

I went to Metro Ford to purchase a 2012 Dodge Durango. I'd informed them prior to me going to the dealership that I will be purchasing the vehicle through my credit union. sales rep name Laverne told me that when I came down it would take no longer than 5 minutes to get me a bill of sale however when I got there they gave me some line about taking the ad for the car to my credit union and that they would fax over the bill of sale to them.I could not understand why they would not provide me with a copy of the bill of sale unless they planned to change some things in the originally negotiated price. If you are in the market to purchase a vehicle do not go there.
