Had inspection. Rear left wheel was only hand tightened. I dropped off my 2022 Toyota Tundra asking the service department to check why my fuel gauge was reading empty well before my fuel tank was actually empty and to please recalibrate. Sticker I had stated I department to check why my fuel gauge was reading empty well before my fuel tank was actually empty and to please recalibrate. Sticker I had stated I have a 32.2 gallon tank. I had noticed my truck had not moved from the parking lot it was in all day. I called to ask what was going on and I was asked if I could leave the vehicle another day. I stated no unless they have a loaner because I had to go to work the next day. I receive a call about an hour later stating the truck was ready to be picked up. I was then told that the fuel tank was only 22.5 gallons and that the sticker was wrong. I was also told this was verified by the parts department. I filled the truck up 2 days later and lo and behold I put in 26 gallons. I was lied to by the service department simply because they did not want to deal with me and my issue. This is the LAST time I take my Toyota for service and I will never purchase a vehicle from then (which is a shame because I am planning on a purchase next year). More
