Second HONDA I buy from BALL - Mo~mo619
The first experience here was enough to purchase a vehicle with this dealership the staff is great and they have a great inventory. Mark and Erik were awesome both times they paid for lunch which I appreciate because we all get kinda cranky when we don't eat. Anyways the best part is that I got upgrade to an EX civic for a few dollars more than the LX they did work with me and that's what I appreciate!! And in case you didn't know they can sell you any brand they carry too! Thank you Ball KIA!!

Exactly what I was looking for! - dsaffaie
Typically I dread looking for a car because of the run around you get from salespeople however this experience exceeded my expectations. I found a pre-owned Ranger Rover on Universal Mitsubishi's website and when I called in, Tiki was not only pleasant but very direct and honest. I could tell that she valued my time as well as my business.
Thank you SO MUCH Tiki, I love my car!

My wife and I went to Fairfield Momentum Hyundai with the intent to purchase an SUV. We met sales person Roman and who is very knowledgable and helpful through out the buying process. We all know the buying a new car is stressful but he navigated us with ease. Needless to say we ended purchasing the Hyundai Sante Fe Sports and we are happy.

Been working with Peter who states he is the Internet Manager regarding a 2017 Outlander Sport GT, in an attempt to buy before end of Feb 2018. Peter on or about 2/9/2018 quoted and promised a price of $22,347.00 for said GT as 'he is the Mgr and wants to help me out' what he says. To make the long story short over the next week or two we continue to discuss said price and the financing plus an additional rebate which he says he needs to speak with his Mgr (I later learn his manager is Carlos) who is out due to an emergency in the family. Then on or about 2/25/18 at about 2:45pm Peter calls and asks if we will be going to the dealer as he has the best deal for us-I remind him of the quoted price to which he responds YES-I will honor the price I have quoted you---My wife is sick with the Flu but we still show up-no sooner than I get out of my car that he tells me the vehicle we have been discussing was just sold--BUT no worries he has an identical vehicle for us --once again I ask him if this so called identical vehicle is being sold to us at the price he has quoted and promised--he says YES not just in front of my wife but in front of about 4 or 5 other salespersons standing around us. He asks us inside after I ask him to show us the identical vehicle--he says lets do the paperwork first as the vehicle is really far away. He begins to start asking for personal information when I stop him and ask again for the numbers in writing and we want to see the identical vehicle-he goes and gets us a paper which seems to show all that the so called identical vehicle has. We noticed that the vehicle does not have all of the features the one we were talking about -to which he answers OHH you want that in the car?
He continues to write numbers as if we have agreed to something--I noticed that he starts with the $22,347 number he quoted me and begins to add $500, plus $500, plus $1000-----I TELL HIM STOP what the xxxx are you doing-you promised me $22,347--he say Yes of course but we have to add back the incentives/discounts you do not get--at this time I get up and tell him that he has lured us to show up and then pulled the old bait and switch--after a few more minutes of arguing about what a liar he is-another person who identifies as Carlos and the general sales manager shows up-and asks what is going on-i hurriedly explained to him and he asks if Peter ever told me about the so called discounts that we were not entitled to-I respond by telling him...do you think we would be here if we had known that the price promised was not really the price and that Peter would not honor his promise?
we then proceeded to walk out-with Peter behind us telling us that he is keeping his promise but has to add back all those numbers as we did not qualify--i asked him once more--did you ever tell me this on the phone-he says NO but you should have known. We left
On Monday I get a call back from a Vashier (?) who says he reviewed the paper work and wishes to apologize for the misunderstanding and wants to make things right-he claims to have the same vehicle for us at a reasonable price-I find out that the vehicle he is talking about he wants to dealer trade with another dealer-BUT he tells me that he cannot sell me the car for the promised numbers but will do me a good deal of $23,800 plus taxes, etc. i told him to send me the numbers in writing and I would discuss with the wife--that evening he sends me numbers but for stock number different from what we have been discussing--I write back and told him NO--we are reporting this dealer for their shaddy tactics and to warn others of what they are doing to innocent consumers
My preferred dealership - RudyRosette
After 8 months I came back from a deployment with the US Navy and knew what car I wanted as my first, a Mitsubishi Lancer. Mark soon helped me in getting a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer DE.
Later on, I came back and ended up getting myself a 2016 Mitsubishi outlander sport and they really helped me out with my trade In and were great to negotiate with. Because of this a week later I brought my mom in and she came out with a 2016 Mitsubishi outlander. They really did a great job on selling my mom the vehicle and extremely happy with the experience. So happy that we went back not too long ago and got my younger sister a car, Mark and Larry both helped us in getting her a 2017 Mitsubishi mirage a perfect car for gong to college with and hanging with her friends.
Bakersfield Mitsubishi has always taken care of us and I'll continue to recommended them to friends and family. Can't wait till they get the new Mitsubishi eclipse cross in stock!
Many other options, but elsewhere - K
I give the dealership 1 star because the only thing they did right was have the car I wanted on their lot. They (Albert the sales guy, the sales manager, and the finance manager) were very deceitful. They charged me $2000 more than the sticker price for my vehicle without any mention of that prior, and I get 1-Star for that because I didn’t look closely enough at the sales contract. Albert did not listen well to my questions; I had to ask him several times to send me pics of the BROWN car, not the black car. Maybe he’s colorblind. Then he made comments about people showing up and overspending on cars because it was New Year’s. Then, it took this dealership FIFTY DAYS to pay off my trade in. In that time I had to make another payment so that I didn’t have a late payment show up on my credit (and I didn’t get all that money back after the payoff because part of the payment was interest) AND my credit score was lowered by FORTY POINTS because two large vehicle loans appeared on my credit. Granted that will improve over time when the credit is updated without the pay off vehicle, but during that time of low credit it impacted my ability to buy a house. Apparently, the finance lady asked the sales department to research the bank’s address (bad idea) and they sent the pay off check to the wrong address twice. They never called the bank to confirm where to send pay off checks to. I ultimately had to call the bank and find out the correct address for them. And then because SCM dealership never called the pay off bank that bank couldn’t accept my word that a pay off check was coming so I had to make that extra payment. Finally, the business office manager was incompetent, because when I called to follow up on the pay off and the titles lady was gone he manager said she doesn’t know, she doesn’t do the other lady’s job. What CAN you do if you can’t supervise your employees?? Moral is, With so many other dealership options why buy here??

We live about 2 hours away, so before we left we called ahead to see if it was still available. So, we got on the road, with traffic it took about 3 hours to get there, and when we do get there the car isn't even ready. In fact, it hasn't even been inspected, smogged, or even detailed. So they said they'd give me a call when it was ready. When they called me back I went back to check it out it still hadn't been detailed or smogged, and it still needed an alignment. I would never go back to this dealership, and I don't recommend it for anyone else.

CONCORD KIA AND MITSUBISHI
On Oct.28, 2012 we went to the Kia (CONCORD KIA AND MITSUBISHI) dealer looking for a very specific vehicle that we could tow four wheels down to be behind our motorhome (sometimes called a dinghy). We were shown a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee which seemed to fit the requirements; we checked the owner’s manual, and the salesman said he got the transfer case in neutral, we were examining the back of the vehicle and we believed him that everything seemed okay. We were trading in our low mileage 1999 Chevy Tracker (which can be towed four down, but we were looking for a newer vehicle) and were offered $2000 for it; they later came back saying that they overvalued it and would only give us $1500, having been there for several hours we said okay and we added an additional $500 to the down payment. They have since turned around and are now selling it for $7999.00? A week later we were camping with some friends and informed them we had bought a Jeep Cherokee. They told to check and make sure that we could tow it four down. Upon getting home Sunday night I tried to get the transfer case in neutral, and come to find out after much effort and internet search that there was a Jeep that could not be towed and that was the one we bought; my wife took it into a Jeep dealership when she had to get a 2nd key for the vehicle, which cost $257.00 and the Maintenance manager confirmed that indeed it could not be towed. We paid $11,000 for a car we could not use!! We informed the dealer that we wanted our money back, they said they could not do that (not sure why), we have since found out they could have returned our money!!! And after much argument they said they would look for replacement vehicle (a Jeep Liberty Limited). After six weeks of stalling, they have still not found a replacement. It should also be pointed out that they have never responded to our emails or our effort to get them to phone us back we always have to call them. The last call I made I asked who the dealer was calling. His answer was vague,” a wholesaler and I’m checking Craig’s list”. My next question was what you are looking for; answer “a deal that makes sense”. In my next email I asked him makes sense for whom? For us /or the dealership? And of course we have not received an answer back. My theory is that they are trying to buy the replacement vehicle for $7-8000 then turn around and give it to us for the $11,000 we paid for the Jeep Cherokee. This would give them another profit over and well above what they made for selling us the Cherokee and underpaying us for our Tracker. I estimate that they have made a profit of $5-6000 on the Cherokee another $5-6000 on the Tracker for between $10,000 and $12,000. Is there a need to make more profit off us?
In conclusion all we asked was a very specific vehicle we could tow behind our motorhome, and what we got was an $11,000 mistake, which they are unwilling to rectify.
Conclusion #2, it is now Dec. 7, and our last day to make our first payment, Robert Braun had promised to call yesterday – NO phone call again. I believe they are waiting for us to make that first payment!!

WORST DEALER EXPERIENCE EVER! I could go on for... - Dan75
WORST DEALER EXPERIENCE EVER! I could go on for paragraphs about how awful the service here is, but I'll keep it short. 1) They got me there under false pretenses, saying they had the car I wanted only to get down there and find out it was on their 'other lot', which turned out to be Huntington Beach Mitsubishi. 2) Got down to the other lot only to find out the car I wanted (a white version) was the dealers racing model, which was $40k more than the standard price of the car. 3) Sales person LIED to me about features of the car by showing me a 2011 model and saying everything on it was included in the 2010 model. 4) Was at the dealer for 8 HOURS to purchase a car that the price was already agreed on via email. 5) Didn't even detail the car after the purchase. They gave it a shoddy wash and an apology of 'Sorry, I'm not a detailing guy.' 6) The whole day at the dealer they didn't offer me anything to drink. They said they didn't have any water and nobody there could even give me a dollar for their soda machine (nice customer appreciation, huh?). 7) The gas station where they gave me a fuel credit to ripped me off. I had a $40 gas voucher, they only gave me $20 of gas and called me a liar when I called them out on it. 8) Subsequent appointments with them (there was a scratch on the car at purchase they said they'd fix) were only met with delays and excuses. It took weeks to get done and only because I kept hassling them. 8) I continue to get emails from their unorganized sales manager (who I had been in correspondence with after purchasing the car) asking if I'm still in the market for a car.
I wish I would have seen the other bad reviews here before deciding to deal with LB Mitsubishi, as it would have saved me a lot of headaches. They've tainted the excitement of buying a new car and have likely turned me off from ever buying a Mitsubishi again. In short, do yourself a favor and drive a little further to go to a dealer that actually appreciates their customers. This dealership only wants your money and will do anything they can to get it.

Just don't ever go there. It's disgusting. They promised they wouldn't waste my time they did that two days in a row. They said they were going to make me fabulous deal on a soul. He took 200 off of the window stick. Ha. That's his amazing deal! Whoa, with a payment of 289.65 on a lease. Like what? Wasted my time twice, all of their cars are kept on E, I had to drive the salesmen to the gas station. Never had a good experience there. I love my KIA, just hate their establishment.
horrible services - daniel_jay88
Took my evo in for service. . Picked it up the next day and it was running horrible. . Told service that it didnt run this way when i brought it in.. had to leave it for another day. Came back to learn the car was never touched. . By the end of the day i was able to pick up the car.. only to realize my service engine light was on.. i mention it to service and they wanted me to leave it again for another day. At this point i was mad.. they should have realize this problem before giving back the car.. a mechanic in the service department claim to own a 900hp evo.. come to realize he was the working on my evo.. next day i picked it up.. service light was off but car ran like xxxx! ! The man who claimed he owned a 900hp evo and supposedly did all the work to his evo couldn't find out what the problem was.. untill i looked underneath the car and realize he didn't /forgot to clamp the hose on the front intercooler. . He fixed the problem. . Took it home and on the way home realize my traction light was not working.. it was working before i took it to them.. took it back the following week.. and the man who knew so much about evo's claimed it was because i had one off brand tire.. which made no sense.. i complained that it just might be a fuse.. he continued to tell me that it was that one tire.. so i brought all 4 new tires. . Took it back and he claimed he didnt have time to check the car.. that it would take him about 2 weeks to look at the car because they were backed up.. and they only had that one mechanic who worked on evo's. . Bye this time i took the evo to tuning technology and realize it was just a fuse the entire time.. they laughed when i mentioned what the mechanic told me.. i recent sold my evo.. the service here at this dealer ship sucks! !
