Can’t say enough good words about Porsche Naples and the team I worked with on the recent purchase on my new to me Turbo S!! Called George Rakowski and inquired about a car I saw online. He was extremely knowledgeable on their recent trade and went out to FaceTime with me to go over the vehicle, since I live around 1.5 hours away. After very minimal back and forth with him and the sales manager we agreed on a good price for both parties. Went down the next day to see the car and complete the paperwork. Everything was ready and I was introduced to Noor to pay and finish the deal. She was INCREDIBLE as well!! Friendly, knowledgeable and well prepared to get me in and out! I arrived exhausted and overwhelmed, and from the moment I walked in, Pamela (front desk) was incredible. She greeted me at the entrance, listened with real empathy, got me water/coffee and something to eat, walked me to a service advisor, and checked on me throughout the visit. My service advisor, Mark Wright, was prompt, professional, and proactive. He handled everything, kept me updated, and turned a stressful situation into a smooth, worry-free experience. The team even washed my car and returned it looking brand new. As a full-time OB/GYN, I spend my days taking care of others—this visit reminded me what it feels like to be taken care of. My experience with Sunset Volkswagen has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I am writing this review to warn anyone considering doing business with them: do not. Back in May, we purchased a 2018 Hyundai Sonata with only 67,000 miles on it; a mileage that should not raise major concerns for a vehicle of that year. Within two weeks, we began experiencing engine knocking and other concerning noises after driving less than 100 miles. When we reached out for help, we were met with silence and deflection. Our original salesman, Michael, who had been all smiles at the time of purchase, suddenly disappeared; no returned calls, no responses to texts. From there, everything spiraled: Within 30 days, the air conditioning system completely failed. Within 60 days, the axle and engine mounts went out. Within 90 days, water began leaking into the cabin. By 120 days, the alternator failed. Now, less than six months later, the engine is burning oil at an alarming rate (likely pistons or another major engine component), and the thermostat has failed. All told, I have put over $3,500 in repairs into this car — on top of the $14,000 purchase price. At this rate, I could have bought a more reliable vehicle outright from a reputable brand. And let’s be clear; this isn’t just about money. These failures are serious safety hazards. A failed axle or engine mount can cause catastrophic accidents on the highway. An alternator or thermostat failure can leave a driver stranded in dangerous situations. An engine burning oil at this rate is not just a mechanical inconvenience; it’s a fire hazard and a potential death trap. Sunset Volkswagen sold me a car that could have endangered me, my family, and others on the road. This dealership claims their vehicles are “inspected” and “maintained to the highest quality.” That is an outright lie. Either they knowingly sold me a lemon, or they are so negligent in their inspections that they completely missed multiple major issues that became glaringly obvious within weeks. Neither explanation is acceptable. It is obvious Sunset Volkswagen has no interest in accountability or customer care. Once they make the sale, you are on your own. Their silence and refusal to address our concerns speak volumes. I am writing this review as both a frustrated customer and a cautionary tale. If you are considering buying from Sunset Volkswagen, understand the risks: you may end up with an unsafe, unreliable, and costly vehicle, while the dealership washes their hands of any responsibility. For your safety and your wallet, take your business elsewhere.

Took my 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera to Porsche Tampa today for my one year service. My service advisor, Mike Deleon, greeted me and explained the service and inspections that would be completed. I toured their new building, new service bays, sales showroom, plush waiting areas and an indoor showroom of new and resale vehicles on the second level, ultra modern all the way. I also spoke with my sales person, Robert Kearney, the individual responsible for helping me with my first Porsche purchase. The service work was completed in less time than indicated. Mike went over everything that was done and the additional items that would be serviced next year. I was also helped by Eric Kozula with some technical issues I had questions about. Even though the dealership was quite busy, Eric took the time to solve my questions. I have nothing but admiration for everyone at this dealership.
