Best Car Buying Experience We've Ever Had. - Kevin Wheeler
I had been looking for a replacement vehicle for my Mazda3, but had more recently stumbled upon some excellent finance options for a 2017 Outlander, which would then replace my wife's minivan.
We went to the dealership and met Frank. He showed us the car, answered our questions and we drove it for a bit. It was nicer than I thought it would be.
Terms were very much straight forward, and Vito helped close the sale by working with us on our trade.
Once in the finance office, we reviewed the paperwork, signed and left. We are extremely happy with the sales portion of our visit.
Since our purchase, I've returned to buy a couple of accessories and Dan was great, and the prices were excellent!
I also returned to have an additional FOB made up, an oil change and a few more odds and ends. I met Keith Walega, service manager, and felt like I had struck up a friendship almost immediately.
I would highly recommend South Suburban Mitsubishi to anyone, whether buying a car, obtaining service, or purchasing parts or accessories.

I Have Been to Many Dealerships.... - CarBuyer09
I have bought several cars in the past and have been to countless dealerships in my life. Schaumburg Mitsubishi stands apart. By far. I didn't even want to buy a Mitsubishi, but I went to look at a car because of how they treated my dad when he bought his car there. I wanted to buy a very basic car without the thrills because it requires less maintenance in the future. The guy showing me around knew what I wanted, showed me the car I told him I wanted, and he took me for a test drive. I went to other dealerships looking for a similar vehicle and you would not believe the crap they would tell me. 'Wow, do you feel the acceleration? How premium everything feels?' I was driving the smallest car on the lot and they made it seem like I was driving some fancy car. Not here. The guy was very straight with me. During the test drive he said things like, 'It's not the fanciest car, it has this many horsepower, here are the basic features you have with the car.' Exactly what I wanted to hear. Honesty.
Then it came down to the price. Man, it's never been so easy. Good a very good price on the car and I was happy. They even checked different finance options to suit my needs. They were very transparent on the whole process. No high pressure small room conversations, no back and forth with a manager, no crap. I couldn't ask for anything more.
I simply cannot recommend this dealership enough. It has everything to do with the staff. Thank you team at Schaumburg Mitsubishi. I appreciate your effort. You really do stand apart from any other dealership I've been to.
Veloster - Hc
I was shopping for a veloster and I had sern avout 4 or 5 including the one at this dealer. I decided to go for theirs because the price was the lowest and the sales man I believe was Jadon was very nice and sexy. The car had all the features I was looking exceprt for the color, but I can live with that.
Exactly What I Wanted - StacyLynn
I went in with an idea of what car I wanted, shared this idea with my salesman. Not only did he find a car that fit my idea, but it blew all my expectations out of the water.
Fast, accurate service - Packer-gal
O'Brien has been my 'go-to' service and regular maintenance shop for 9 years. We started with a used car (Chrysler) then after that, purchased a used Mitsubishi and recently traded that in for another used car, this time a Dodge Grand Caravan, If you want a salesperson that treats you fairly and courteously and has your interests and needs uppermost in his mind, please see Jay Miller. This is the third vehicle we have purchased from Jay and continue to go to him because of his excellent knowledge and service!
All of my questions are met with a serious answer. I have never felt patronized by either the sales or the service staff. More than one time, when doing auto service or purchasing, elsewhere, I have not necessarily been treated as the decision maker.
Great car buying experience. - Kfunk
What a great experience and our first time working with Max to purchase a car at Biggers. This is a very professional organization and I love the rapport we have developed with Max, Emal, and the service team.
Wonderful experience! - mkuehl
I've had my previous vehicle serviced at VW service department, enjoyed the experience so much I decided to purchase my first Volkswagen at Napleton's. My salesperson was Matt Morales-- He was very personable and a delight to work with. I HIGHLY recommend working with Matt and the entire VW team!
A very unhappy Experience - Kumar
That was a very bad experience when I went there to check out a used Hyundai Genesis. The sales executive name was Ryan.
Right after I walked in, this guy asked another guy to pull the car and left me in the lobby, not even telling me to wait there or come in side. I had no clue where to go and what to do next. I stood there for a few mins. Then I went into the service area by myself and saw him with the car.
I then started checking out the car and went for a test drive. This guy neither showed much interest nor gave me that excitement. He was just answering my questions. BTW, I was really excited since I liked the car after the driving. When I was asking him about the options in the car, he was like "it has all the options"!
After the test drive we came into the office and I then had to use the restroom. After coming out of restroom, I had to again search for him. We then sat at the computer for the next steps. He never sounded friendly or cooperative, but sounded rude and arrogant. I dont know if he was going through any personal issues. But I dont expect this from any sales rep especially after the test drive.
I asked if the price is negotiable and he was responding as if I asked something very bad. I wasnt asking for a crazy deal or anything but as in any business, I was trying to negotiate. I told him my offer as $995 less than the listed price of $20,995 to start with. He said that I dont know anything about the car market, I dont know technology, I dont know what a car is worth etc. I was stunned with the way he started responding to me.
I asked him about the 112 points report he said he will show me during the drive. He went inside and gave me a print out with price comparison of another car. Not only he didn't show me the 112 point report but he started showing his rudeness.
I took my cell phone to show him similar cars nearby. He was like, "I dont want you to shop for car now because I have other things to do". I said, OK whats next(I was still interested). He was like "I can reduce $100, but if you dont want I wont reduce that also", in a very sarcastic and disrespectful way. He sounded rude and frustrating from the beginning of the conversation. I was telling him I have a good credit (I had the credit report with me, I didnt show him yet) he said, he doesnt believe it since all people say that. I said, I can see the car is not worth that price based on KBB and everything, he said, I dont know anything about cars. He was telling he and his manager has only 20 mins more at the shop and he needs a decision now. I was feeling very bad since I was not getting treated as valued customer.
I have been to a couple of dealers before, and they were awesome. I dont understand if anyone gets treated like this will ever end up buying the car. I liked the car, I had a check with me for the down payment and I was ready to buy the car. But just because of the unhappy and frustrating feeling that I got, I decided to walk away. Any average sales person could have sold me that car yesterday with the actual listed price if he just had the right attitude. I shook hand with him and walked away.
It was really a miserable experience. So I will never recommend this dealer if you are expecting a customer satisfactory experience in buying your car. For me, I want to feel the day special when I buy a car, but this guy just ruined it and ended giving me a frustrated evening. Don't go there guys or at least avoid this guy!
Friendly Service - Terrible Website Pricing - MitsuGuy
Drove down from WI to buy an Outlander GT. Worked with Michael, who was awesome. He was new, but knew the Outlander inside and out. Michael and Ken, the finance guy did everything they could to get us exactly what we wanted.
The reason this review isn't 5 star is due to the pricing on the website. The price includes a bunch of discounts that barely anyone would qualify for. Including some random discount for current Mitsubishi owners affected by some wiper recall. This should NOT be included in an advertised price to the general public. When I called them out on the misleading marking policy, I was given the excuse "Everybody does it." This is incorrect. Other dealers will list out the rebates separately.
I hope they change their ways with the marketing policies. The Outlander is a great car and we love it so far.
Hiding Car Defects - Mazen
I went to buy a used 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander SE. The sale representative said it is a good car ready to go and inspected by the dealer mechanic. When I wanted to test drive the car, First the car did not start, and that is why I saw the car running before even I arrived to the dealer, so the Battery is dead or the Alternator is not working. Second the ASC system service required sign turned on. Third; when I turned the AC on, the compressor was going on and off. So I was totally disappointed and just got out of the car because I already wasted time jumping the car at the beginning. The problem is they are Mitsubishi Dealer. I personally will never trust them anymore.
I believe the review written by will t posted here to be... - Lydia
I believe the review written by will t posted here to be written by one of the salesmen at GRAND MITSUBISHI by the name of Bill T. (will t) wrote it. And should not be allowed, it is against your terms of service rules for someone working at the dealership to write their own review using dealership internet connection, not only did they scam my mother in law, now they are scamming the internet review of their dealership. This place takes the cake all the way around. The reason I'm saying this review is a scam is because I informed that owner how HORRIBLE their internet rating was and instantly that review was put out there. I would appreciate Dealer Rater looking into this and removing their scam review of themselves.
