If you’re looking for a vehicle and want a truly exceptional car-buying experience, I highly recommend Tom Gettler at Sharp Honda. My husband and I stopped by Sharp Honda at the end of May with one goal in mind: test drive a Honda Passport and see if I liked how it drove. We had both agreed beforehand that we were absolutely NOT buying a vehicle that day—we were just looking. Tom had other plans! He went above and beyond to understand what we were looking for and presented us with such a great offer that we simply couldn’t pass it up. Even the part everyone dreads—the trade-in process—was smooth, transparent, and fair. From the beginning, we were offered a reasonable trade-in value, and there were no games or surprises. To make things even more impressive, the Passport on the lot wasn’t the color I wanted. Tom quickly located the exact color I was looking for and arranged for me to drive a dealer loaner CR-V for 25 days while waiting for my vehicle to arrive. Throughout the process, various Sharp Honda employees kept me informed with regular updates on the status and expected arrival. When delivery day finally arrived, everything was ready to go. Tom took the time to thoroughly walk me through the vehicle, spending over 30 minutes explaining features, helping set up my driver profile, and making sure I felt comfortable with all the technology before leaving the dealership. I also want to give a shout-out to Troy Hunt, Business Manager, for making the paperwork process smooth, efficient, and painless. From start to finish, this was one of the best vehicle purchasing experiences I’ve ever had. Tom’s professionalism, communication, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service were outstanding. I absolutely love my 2026 Honda Passport and couldn’t be happier with my experience at Sharp Honda!

From start to finish, the customer service was excellent. Hundreds of cars to choose from without the pressure that you sometimes feel at a lot of dealerships. I do truly feel they have your best interest in mind and want to find what is best for you from your vehicle to the purchase and even the appraisal. I was thoroughly impressed with each associate we encountered, which was several during the 2-3 weeks we were shopping. Great team and we will use them again in the future!

The dealership has a great selection of older trucks and good condition at very fair prices. I worked with Sean he was great. I forgot the lady’s name in the finance office. She was also great. This is the third Truck that I purchased from KC used car Emporium. I highly recommend looking at them if you’re trying to avoid spending over $50,000 on a truck I typically spend about 10,000 and really like the Truck trucks they’re great.

Broken promises! Get everything in writing because they will lie about anything to get you to buy and then pull the rug out. Told me they were going to fix some issues with my car and then didnt. Terrible customer service. Never ralked to the same person and would not return my calls after they made their sale. Go anywhere other than this dealership. Worst customer experience Ive ever had at any establishment. Listen to the other reviews. They are proud to lie and cheat hard working people. Buyer beware!

I’ve bought my last two vehicles from Don Hattan in Derby - laciguthery

I’ve bought my last two vehicles from Don Hattan in Derby and cannot fathom the utter disregard for the latest car that they sold me, which is once again at their service department. The service department has had my car longer than I have owned it. And although under complete warranty, still can’t seem to fix it or supply me with an adequate rental when they have it for months on end. It is has been towed once again to the Derby location and there is no rental available. They claimed to fix it a second time after the first time did not work and when it was still having the same problems, I brought it back in and they said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Now it won’t even start. The service manager Steve even said it prob needs to go to a Chrysler specialist because they can’t figure it out. I have been told that I should go ahead and trade it in but the sales department who is 10 feet away from service department is not comfortable doing that because of the shape that it’s in due to Don Hattan service department not properly fixing it. I have all receipts of all previous service and lack of communication with the service department. I had my Jeep for probably two or three months before everything went wrong on it after they claimed to have the 51 or 52 point inspection on it. Now no one will help me out with anything at all and I do not know what to do. I have 13 year-old triplets to tow around and not a vehicle. They are the ones who sold me this piece of crap and they are not willing to do anything about it.
