Glad I trusted the reviews for Liberty Subaru on this... - Nmoimenta
Glad I trusted the reviews for Liberty Subaru on this site. I can attest that Bob Osterlof and his team are great. I had a TPMS issue for several months. Initially I went to a different dealer in Northern NJ 3 times and the issue was never corrected. Took a break and then found these great reviews for Bob and his team at Liberty Subaru and figured I’d give them a try rather than returning to the same dealership for a 4th time. Bob and his team exceeded my expectations and finally corrected the issue once and for all and I am very grateful for being able to rely on the TPMS system not having to see the warning lights pop on and off while driving now. I highly recommend Bob Osterlof and the service department at Liberty Subaru!

recent service experience not up to previous standards - frank08730
I was happy with car buying experience for the Outback in 2017. I have had several very good experiences with Christian, service advisor. I was told he has left the dealer for the police academy.
I am thrilled for him. Most of the previous service appointments have gone as planed. but this recent experience was not great
We purchased a Outback here in 2017 and we have 2008 Impreza that we bought elsewhere. We have used the dealership for most but not all service. Yesterday I brought in the Impreza for an airbag recall service. We had scheduled it several days in advance and got a 8am appointment. We brought the car in at 8am and were told the car would be ready by 4:30pm (end of day). I told Eric D that I may have to pick up car in the next morning. I have dietary issues from colon cancer so I have to plan what and when to eat and drink to avoid issues. Usually if we get oil change or other things we are in and out in a hour or two. A couple things came up and I called Eric at 1pm leaving a message that I needed the car this afternoon. I called at 1:30, 2:00, 2:30 and 3:00 put I was unable to get Eric directly. Finally I left at 3:00 to go to dealership but I had not received a call back from Eric. When I got there I was told the car was not ready and would not be ready till Friday morning. I wasted time driving back to the dealership on Thursday afternoon and it also screwed up my Friday morning plans.
The service advisors do not check their phone mail regularly. Recall service is low priority as far as getting customer serviced quickly. Try to get a specific completion time and avoid " by end of day" . If you call the service advisor on his direct line try get to the operator or receptionist if they do not answer the phone. I should have know better because a couple of times previously I requested callback on other questions I never received a callback. I suggest the dealership eliminate phone mail as it is not being used

Wayne Subaru is an absolute pleasure to work with!! Every employee involved in the process was kind, courteous and expedient! Not only did we find the exact Subaru that we were searching for, our sales associate Mr. John Greenwald greeted us with a friendly no pressure approach! He was extremely patient and let us make all of the decisions! John's experience and knowledge was a great asset and helped us through the entire sales procedure in record time! Special thanks to Finance guy, Mr. David Fried as well!! After we took delivery of the vehicle, John was able to introduce me to the Wayne Subaru Service department for completion of a few details. Service Manager Jerry is an amazing individual! He personally took an interest in providing us with the absolute best customer service possible! Our vehicle was completed and delivered way ahead of the expected time and a loaner vehicle was provided, so that we didn't have to be without a vehicle while the service was being completed. Our vehicle was returned to us quickly and in perfect condition and is now our trusted daily driver! We would highly recommend Wayne Subaru and they will surely be our first stop for the next vehicle that we purchase! Not only did Wayne Subaru deliver a great vehicle at a great price, it was delivered to us well above and beyond our expectations!!
Our sincere Thanks to everyone at Wayne Subaru!
We really enjoyed the experience!

Disappointed in this visit: tires were rotated but tire pressure was not adjusted; now I have 32 psi in the front and 35 psi in the rear (opposite of what's required). Secondly when I got home I saw that my rear brake pads will need replacing soon - this was not brought to my attention (the multi-point inspection was not reviewed with me), so I don't have the info I need to plan this service.

Exceptional service team. From management to advisors, technicians and staff (including the parts department/management): they are very knowledgeable, helpful, communicative and friendly. They recognize and greet me personally every time I call or step in the facility, and ensure I am completely taken care of. I see them treat other customers in a similar manner. Thank you!
Beware of the service dept at Paul Miller Subaru They... - Brian
Beware of the service dept at Paul Miller Subaru They can't be trusted to perform all the services they charge you for. On completion of my recent oil chage and tire rotation service I noticed that the tires were never rotated. I went back in and they admitted their 'mistake'. They then rotated the tires. This has happened twice in the past 12 months. But both times they did reimburse me in full for the service
Though tire rotation is not a critical service, it's easy enough to discreetly mark your tires before your appt. to verify afterwards that they've been rotated. But I'm sure most customers don't do this. And it's more difficult to verify that other services have been performed. So how many customers are being ripped off on a regular basis? It's not right.

Terrible service department... Brought my 2015 Forester... - jleish32
Terrible service department... Brought my 2015 Forester in because remote start(which they installed) wasn't working.. 7:30 a.m. appointment only to be called at the end of the day to be told the car battery was weak and they needed to keep it overnight to replace it(Overnight to replace a car battery). Picked up next day and was charged $150 for the battery and $80 to install it!!!! $230 for a $60 battery... Needless to say the battery wasn't the problem and I had to call and tell them it still would not remote start. Was told to bring it in next Tuesday(not right away which would have been good customer service) Dropped it off at 8 this morning and was promptly called at 8:20 to say that the "A" tech needed to look at it and he was backed up so the car would need to stay overnight... again... Must be nice to know at 8:20 that you won't be able to fix a car you should have fixed right the first time... Once again, good customer service would have been to push me to the front of the line... Then they called me back 5 minutes later to say I needed to come back with the second remote.. I tried to explain that the remote wasn't the problem.. the car received the signal but would not turn over... After getting totally fed up I hung up, went back and picked up the car and vowed never to return.. Wish I could give less stars!! Avoid Lynne's at all costs!!!!!!!!

An absolutely awful experience. After being quoted what the repairs would cost and the amount of time it would take to complete them, they went 3 weeks and $1,000 over what was quoted. After I picked the car up it still wasn't fixed. They tried to force the wrong wiring in the repaired rear door causing the window not to work and the car unable to lock. The wheels were left not properly aligned causing the car to shake at speeds over 50mph. I ended up spending over another $1,000 at a place that actually knows what they are doing.
While the car was there over 10 calls were left unreturned. You're better off taking your car literally any where else.

Great people, horrible experience though.
After negotiating and having a great time talking with the staff, everything went downhill.. the numbers we were promised were no where close to what our contract said. The poor finance guy was the last to meet us at 8pm after everyone else was done for the day but they had taken forever to complete our paperwork (we had sent in all our paperwork since 8am, prior to getting there). We finally get the agreement and the poor guy can’t explain anything because the sales ppl gave us all the wrong information and he was stuck giving us the bad news that the numbers promised were all BS because no one calculated anything correctly.
At this point we had waited forever, and decided to take the car and take the higher monthly bill, as we were so done with our horrible experience.
But it gets better..
After 4 and a half months, I am finally getting my registration and plates. How does no one have the answer as to why it hadn’t been processed? How come I had to call millions of times and keep getting the run around.
