I highly recommend this dealership! The sales team is fantastic. All seem knowledgeable, professional, honest, and a low-pressure environment. I dealt with both Zach Kessler and Dean Greer. These two gentleman are the best in the business in my humble opinion. I went to five other dealerships prior to this one. None come close to this establishment. They don’t disappear after the sale either. Some of the technology can be confusing at first but they make certain to offer support without even being asked. 1st class dealership and excellent people combine for peace of mind in making the right decision.

After reading enough horror stories about BMW reliability online, you start wondering whether you bought a car or accidentally adopted a very expensive German pet. 😄 Thankfully, the buying experience at Sloan BMW Allentown was nothing short of exceptional, largely because of Jordan. Jordan was patient, knowledgeable, professional, and—something I especially appreciated—there was absolutely no pressure or stereotypical salesmanship. We communicated primarily through text, which fit our busy lifestyles perfectly. That may sound like a small thing, but for me it made a huge difference. I’m a car enthusiast and pay attention to everything, probably far more than any salesperson would reasonably enjoy. Having someone willing to communicate closely, answer questions, and pay attention to the details was priceless. From the very beginning, Jordan made the process feel less like a transaction and more like someone genuinely helping us make the right decision for our family. There was never a push to “close the deal,” no games, no unnecessary back-and-forth—just straightforward communication and patience. Jordan even surprised me with a BMW scent kit as a small token of appreciation. A simple gesture, but one that showed that the experience mattered beyond the sale. Our new 330i is officially our first German car, so hopefully BMW proves all those internet reliability doom-and-gloomers wrong. 😉 We’re certainly hoping for many trouble-free miles. And when the time comes for that first 1,000-mile break-in oil change, I hope the exceptional experience continues into the service department. Thank you, Jordan, for making what could have been a stressful purchase genuinely enjoyable. My family truly appreciated the experience, and we’ll absolutely be back. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at BMW of the Main Line. My family and I traveled approximately three hours one way from Germantown, MD to complete a confirmed lease for a 2025 BMW i5 xDrive40. Despite providing all requested documentation, including driver’s licenses, insurance, and a completed credit application, and receiving a written lease offer, the dealership refused to honor the agreement. While Sales Associate remained professional and apologetic, the General Manager was dismissive, unhelpful, and unprofessional, making no effort to resolve the issue. Because of this, we lost a full day of work, incurred fuel costs, purchased new insurance, and were ultimately denied the lease we had agreed to. This experience is completely inconsistent with the premium BMW brand, and I would caution future customers about potential poor service and lack of accountability at this dealership.

Either outright deceitful or incompetent, either way, I would never do business with this dealer again. Here's the email I sent to Joseph Spallone (Business Development Executive at Thompson). To summarize, I was told a BMW extended warranty was NOT available on a 2021 BMW still in warranty and under mileage. However, they offered to sell me a 3rd Party Warranty (not the one that they even advertise - Southwest Re which has terrible reviews BTW, that costs over 2x the cost of the BMW Platinum Vehicle Service Contract... Fishy? What I didn't say in the email was that I called a Finance manager at Thompson (a very nice female) who even told me what I heard was "not right". 02/16/2024 - Visit with Mr Stump (0 followup) 02/23/2024 - Email to Mr Spallone (never heard back from supposed manager at Thompson) Email: "Hi Joseph, I went into your dealership with every intent of purchasing my leased 2021 X3M Competition, but received either misinformation or was flat out lied to about my extended warranty options… instead I was pointed to one of your 3rd party warranties which costs almost twice that of the BMW option. I was told the BMW factory warranty was not available on my vehicle, so I decided to do some homework. 3 other BMW dealers tell me otherwise, and all provided me quotes: * My local dealer Princeton BMW * Camarillo BMW which is heavily touted on the BMW forums for selling extended warranties * And your neighboring dealer in Fort Washington. I would like your perspective on the situation? Was your salesman and finance rep he talked to incorrect or was there some level of deception going on? I’ve dealt with some dealerships in the past that are less than truthful or flat out dishonest. I would hope that Thompson BMW isn’t one of those." Reply: Understand about the situation. I will pass over to the at manager at Thompson BMW. To summarize: - Poor communications - Questionable sales practices - Dealer gave up an easy sale (I went in ready to pay and instead left as a pissed off, lost customer). I did visit the a fore mentioned dealership in Ft Washington and walked out in 3 hours with a X3 M Competition. Quick and easy. If you go there, see Nick. Pleasure to work with.

WARNING: Avoid the Service Department at BMW of York – Repeated Lies, Incomplete Repairs, and Overcharging I brought my son’s 2010 BMW 328i here twice in December 2025 for what should have been straightforward repairs: high beams, taillight, and a non-functional key fob. First visit: Paid over $1,100. Picked up the car and discovered the high beams STILL didn’t work and the key fob was STILL broken despite being charged for the repair. Had to buy a new key fob myself for another $285 + tax. Returned the car on December 21 after assurances the issues would finally be fixed. On December 26, they presented me with an additional bill for over $980. When I asked about credits for the prior incomplete work, I was told only the diagnostic fee was waived—even though the invoice clearly showed $600+ in labor and I had already paid diagnostics the first time. Service advisors Scott and Kelly gave repeated conflicting and inaccurate information (claiming labor wasn’t charged when it clearly was, assuring me parts would be verified when they weren’t, promising a courtesy wash that never happened). Even basic assurances were not honored. When I pointed out inconsistencies, the information changed on the spot. After multiple outright misrepresentations, I lost all confidence in the repairs and the staff’s honesty, so I declined the new charges. I have since escalated to BMW corporate, the PA Attorney General, and the BBB due to what feels like deceptive practices and an attempt to charge twice for the same unfixed problems. This dealership’s service team damaged my trust in the BMW brand. Do yourself a favor—take your BMW anywhere else for service. There are too many horror stories like mine for this to be an isolated incident. Save your money and your sanity.

My husband and I purchase new cars every 3 to 4 years so we have had many experiences at different dealerships. That being said, I have never had a better experience than I did at BMW of Reading. We purchased a used car for my daughter's 16th Birthday from Vlad. He did everything in his power to make sure the car was perfect and the first car buying experience was magical for her. So go see Vlad!! Whether you are buying a $25,000 used car or a $100,000 new car you will be treated with the same level of respect and excitment by him. He is wonderful, the dealership is wonderful! They really stand behind their products and truly want you to be happy. I will be a repeat customer!

I purchased a car from A&L BMW on August 26, 2025. Today is October 17, 2025 and my car is still not registered. Called the dealership on numerous occasions and was transferred to the title lady she did not return my calls or take care of the problem. I went to AAA they emailed the title lady asking her for the Title number she did not respond. I called BMW of North America; they told me that the dealer has to register my car no way around it. Called the dealership to complain and got the VM of the title ladies' supervisor. No response. Called the salesperson no response. I never ever belied that A&L BMW will treat their customers in this manner and be so irresponsible. Really frustrated with them. The title lady needs to be fired. Very irresponsible of the dealership. I have never had this kind of experience before with any dealership.

Greg Locastro , is a one of a kind salesman, he understands what the customers want before they Grace his doors and that is, the use of technology, a short 360 clip of the vehicle. That in itself was priceless. He explained every details with ease, to the point the sale was effortless. He was extremely attentive and complementary. We were offered beverages from the staff from the moment on to the end of the journey. The perfect surprised was the reveal with the big red bow. In itself I can say Greg and Jocelyn became a team. She also helped with the Genius technology with CarPlay for my husband and I. I can count on BMW to deliver again and again, as this is our 2nd BMW, X1 , but 3 German cars in total. One Price, One hour , One person! This is the dream car for anyone serious enough to tackle the BEST in the business. I dare you! Best service Ive experienced with BMW. Went to several dealerships in the DC/Northern Virginia area and was very dissapointed with the lack of service, respect and attention shown by the salespeople. Beth worked to find me the car i wanted and have it brought in from another dealer, and was very straightforward and open in negotiations. No nonsense, very friendly, even adjusted the price on an add-on item to honor a quote we had been give, without me even asking for the price adjustment. Would like to go back for future BMW purchases as long as I live in the northeast. The drive was worth the great service.
