I had a disappointing experience working with the sales manager, Colin. I was comparing two identical vehicles—same year, same trim—with about a 15,000 mile difference and only about a $4,000 price gap. When I questioned that, the pricing was justified using a per-mile calculation, which doesn’t reflect how these vehicles are actually valued in the market. Mileage is a factor, but it’s not a straight-line formula like that. What stood out even more was the inconsistency in communication. I was initially told there was no flexibility or discounts available, but later told a small discount was the “final” offer. That contradiction made the process feel unclear and not very transparent. I’m glad I clarified all of this over the phone before making the trip, because based on that interaction, it didn’t seem like there was a genuine willingness to work toward a deal.

My truck almost left me stranded on the highway. I got it to Casey Chevy in Newport News and they told me they couldn't even look at it for 3-4 days. I then called my preferred service dealer Ken Houtz where I've been going for almost 10 years and Mark said if I could get it to him, he'd have it looked at by the end of the day so that's what I did. I then was having trouble getting a ride home and Dave was so awesome and gave me ride home. Before I was able to leave the dealership Tyler had already looked at my truck and gave me recommendations in which I said go ahead. Friday, they had my truck back in service. Outstanding work by the Ken Houtz Service team. I will no longer even try to go anywhere else. Thank you very much to Ken Houtz Chevrolet!! -Scott

I purchased my car from there about a year ago. Mr. Ahmed went beyond what was neccesar to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I purchased a new 24 Grand Wagoneer SIII L two year ago. My experience with Haley has been fantastic. They were fair when making a deal and while I have had absolutely no problems with my Grand Waggy I have taken it in several time for routine maintenance, oil changes and tire rotations their service department has been outstanding. I cannot recommend them highly enough and Paula Ames my Service Advisor has been fabulous. After fifty years of buying many vehicles my experience with these folks has been the best ever!

I don’t usually write reviews but in this case, I couldn't halp myself but expose the ill malice practice of Auto Motion Inc. I have never been lied to, deceived, betrayed or RIPPED OFF by anyone in my life like I have been by Auto Motion Inc. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS PLACE! Having to relive in my mind the huge mistake I made walking into that dealership to write this review makes me ill. I purchased a Mazda 3 early mid-June and 3 weeks later my engine light turns on. I take it in to get a scanner check on the problem and my jaw dropped to the ground when I heard the results. 7 electrical and emissions faulty codes with 12 secondary/related additional faulty codes! I bought a warranty package with the vehicle and when I called the warranty company they straight out told me that my warranty package will not cover this problem. So in other words, I bought a straight lemon! I paid $6500 for this car out the door and drove it for 21 days and I now have a car that doesn’t pass emission to get my plates at DMV and a repair cost of approximately 2k. I was better off carless!! I emphasize, I drove this car ONLY 21 days could I have caused 19 faulty codes in all? I think NOT! The only logical explanation is that Auto Motion Inc covered the codes by erasing them for a time. I’ve done some research and it is possible to cover codes. In addition to the faulty codes the cars carriage is rusted and God only knows what bump on the road is going to crack the frame in half. If you read previous reviews you’ll learn that approximately 7 out of 10 reviews are negatives like mine and the positive ones are 3 lines reviews written by family and friends, most likely. Had I read the reviews on this SCAM company beforehand I would not have walked in there. But I was desperate and these VIPERS smelled blood and took advantage of my vulnerability. When I called Auto Motion the guy on the other end of the line said to me what I repeatedly kept reading on the reviews reply from them, “You’re buying a used car”. Thats their only excuse. I know I’m buying a used car but for $6500 I expect the car to run without problems for at least a year or more not just 21 days!! In conclusion, do your research on this company before walking in there. However, in my opinion, safe yourself some time researching this company and spend your time wisely somewhere else. Take my word for it, you don’t want to go through what I’m going through and stay away from Auto Motion Inc/SCAMMERS!!! By the way Auto Motion doesn't deserve 1 star. I have to rate it something for my review to send. They deserves -10 falling stars.

I had bought a 2020 ford escape from Jason pearman that had some body issues and it was the worst experience possible for my first time buying a car, thank god he is no longer there because I wouldn’t recommend him. I decided to give them a second chance and I went to Corey oxendine and he has been more then helpful and responsive he got me traded out of the escape into a 2024 ford edge and I couldn’t be happier with it. I highly reccommend Corey Oxendine and I think this boy deserves a raise or a promotion or something. He has beyond helped me when nobody else wanted to and I appreciate everything he did for me. If you go to Aschenbach ask for Corey!!

I recently bought a vehicle from Basic auto sales went back. The next day car was not detailed didn’t even look like it was washed dirt in the floor board etc I asked about it. Everybody looked at me crazy then I take it to get it a full diagnostic find out there’s an old oil leak in the engine. I’m told the mechanic will call me. No call to date . Then I get a letter from DMV stating Basic did not send in insurance information so when I called Basic, they told me to do it !!!once again no help no assistance no follow-through unless you absolutely have to buy a car there cause it’s cheap don’t go there crappy cars crappy service crappy follow through and the only reason I gave it one star was because it wouldn’t allow me to do zero.

Jared Bowman was amazing to work with. Great communication and very upfront about the cars I was looking at and what to expect. I came into the dealership several times while shopping around, and Jared went above an beyond and was easily the best salesman I've worked with (including from other Mazda dealerships in the same ownership group.) The only ding on the experience is on the back of house operation. I went out of town and told the dealership I would have to receive ownership the car on the Friday after New Years. I was called by one of the managers and was told the car was ready to be picked up after the porters/service center had a whole week to prep the car and get the state inspections/emissions/CPO done. I came in to pick it up and all the sales and dealership stickers + adhesive was still all over the car and windows, empty gas tank, and the car was covered in bird crap as it was parked under trees after it went through the inspections. Needless to say, Jared and I were both quite upset. Jared made it right by jumping the car to the front of the line and got the car filled up, cleaned, and ready for me in under 30 minutes. I would still recommend this dealership. Was by far the least stressful experience I've had car buying.

After my interaction with the dealership, the finance manager, Linden, called me and made threatening statements, including saying he would come to my home. I took this seriously enough to record the call, and I am in the process of filing a police report. This is completely unacceptable behavior from anyone, especially someone representing a business. I strongly urge others to use caution when dealing with this dealership. Based on this experience, I would not recommend doing business here.
