I want to start by sharing a little background of my experience with the Lexus brand. I bought my first brand new Lexus IS300 in 2005. I loved the car and that it was manual made it even better. I talked my farther into trading his GMC which he did. He decided to purchase the brand new 2005 Lexus GX. He liked big SUV’s. Within a week we had purchased two cars from the same dealership. In 2015 my father had decided to once again trade in his vehicle and he wanted to stay with the Lexus brand so he purchased the 2015 NX. He said he no longer needed such a big car. In early 2024 he was thinking about changing his vehicle. He was looking at the Porsche Macan or another Lexus. We visited Lexus of Lehigh Valley in Allentown PA. He walked around and he looked at the new NX and RX. We spoke with the sales representative, my father wanted to speak to my mother first before making that new purchase. We went back about two months later. The salesperson that was assigned to us was Baron. He showed my dad a few cars and my dad decided to move forward with the 2024 RX. Initially my dad was going to finance the vehicle, however the APR being offered was extremely high, so he decided to purchase it cash. We made arrangements with Baron to return the next day with a cashiers check. The next day I text Baron to get the vin for the insurance and to get the total needed for the check. We stop by the bank in the morning, my father got the check, I notified Baron we were on the way. When we arrived my dad was waiting for the insurance card to be email, as Baron was completing the paperwork. This is when the experience started to get bad. Baron was in and out of the office, and trying to get another sale done, while we were still going through our steps. It was very frustrating to see that. After this experience I did write an email to Carl the Executive Director in Lexus of Lehigh Valley, to express my dissatisfaction. Carl emailed me back asked me to call him. I called Carl and left him a voicemail, but never returned my call. Now fast forward to 2026. The conversation came up about the title, which father said he never received. We followed up with the PENNDOT and they informed him the paperwork was never received. I send an email to Lexus of Lehigh Valley and Stephany responded, the Title was sent to the Bank, because the vehicle has a lean on it. At this point I was angry. I Called three times before Stephany finally picked up, she tells me there’s a lean because the check which was issued by the bank, had request to add a lean holder. I requested a copy of the check, she told me she would send it, when she got to the office. No emails were sent, so about 2 hours later, I sent another email asking for the check. I receive the copy of the check and of course there’s nothing about any lean request, nor any lean mention. At this point I’m ever more angry, especially with the ohh it happened, no care at all. I ask to speak with the owner, I’m told he’s way on vacation. Eventually the Ashley gets in touch with the bank and has the bank confirm that there was no loan. I asked how Lexus of Lehigh Valley would compensate for this and at that point no response. A few hours later I receive a voicemail from Carl, asking for me to call him. I called him and he’s question was “everything is okay now? He said we’re sorry this happened and that the title would be sent to my father’s address. I asked him how would Lexus of Lehigh Valley compensate for this? He said there were no losses so there’s nothing. I’ll never purchase another Lexus, I will make sure that my father doesn’t either. I will also ensure that everyone knows how Lexus of Lehigh Valley operates and that they don’t care about their customers. I can understand employees not caring about the company name, but to see the Cooper family, that owns the business, not getting involved tells you, how much the value their customers.
