BEWARE - Scheduled a 70K service for $99.99 and during checkout, the total bill was over $450. Advisor Matthew said they had to do the 30K instead of the 70K that I requested. Advisor even questioned air filter / cabin filter and I declined since it didnt come with the 70K service. Very sleazy bait and switch. Please remove me as customer from your mailing list. I wont be back for service or to purchase my next truck!

I stopped at this dealer ship on my way back to Michigan to have them do a force regeneration on my 2017 F250. They completed the service and then called me out to my truck to tell me I had a small rear differential leak but said they topped it off and I would be able to make it home. Eight hours later I’m sitting on the side of the highway with my differential blown to pieces. Now Im stranded outside of Oklahoma City at 10pm. Fast forward to Monday and I get a call and text from Whiteface ford that they have my differential plug and wanted to know if they wanted me to have them mail it to me. I called them and told them about the catastrophic failure with my rear differential. They said they would get back to me and let me know what they would do. Total cost to fix my truck was over 12k. Now they won’t answer my calls and no one will call me back. I’m not looking for much but you would think they would at least refund the service charge for the work they did on my truck of 420.00 and pay the 600.00 towing charge. I would never recommend them to anyone. Beware if you use them for service on your vehicle. They made a catastrophic mistake and won’t take responsibility for it. I have the voice mail and the text from their employee saying they have my differential plug. I was just asking for them to do the right thing and they won’t even respond to me. How shameful.

I recently bought a vehicle from Covert Ford, and I was very satisfied with the sales process, everything was thorough, and I got in and out pretty quickly. This review is more about the dealership itself more than the sales process, like most people will usually write about. Only one word describes this dealership: Old. This dealership is in need of a renovation BADLY. Their smaller dealership, Covert Ford of Hutto, looks WAY more modern and inviting than their main Covert location in Austin. The sales floor looks like it’s stuck in the 80’s, the service advisors are working out of CLOSETS, and the parts “department”, if you can call it that, it’s literally a small room with a mini office. The formal “delivery” area is three small parking stalls at the front of the dealership. I don’t get it, their Bee Cave GMC dealer is BRAND NEW and looks AMAZING, but their main Ford dealership, looks so incredibly run down and old! Because of the old layout of the dealer, and how run down it looks, it doesn’t seem like a very inviting place for me to bring my vehicle for service. I’d rather go to Mac Haik in Georgetown where the dealership looks very inviting, modern, and in a nice area. Sales process and deals are great at this dealer, the dealership itself, is in DIRE need of a makeover.

The service department cannot competently diagnose and repair my 2019 F-150. The truck had issues starting. I was told it was the battery. I replaced the battery. The issue persisted. I was told it was the starter, and Arrow Ford replaced the starter. This did not fix the issue. I was then told it was the fuel pump, and Arrow Ford replaced the fuel pump. The truck still has issues starting. This dealership cannot fix the problem. I will not be back.

On 7/19 we had an AWESOME experience with Megan Acosta (inventory specialist/sales) and Andrea Watson (finance) at Tommie Vaughn Ford where we were literally treated like family. We have been blessed to have contacts at various dealerships over the years where we were treated well, but this experience was the best of all. They met us with the sales manager when we walked in the door, had an offer on our trade before we could sit down, and helped us locate an additional vehicle for a family member (did I mention multiple follow ups for us on the vehicle for our family member). We closed the purchase and will close the other purchase when the located vehicle arrives! Can't say enough about these wonderful ladies!!! Do NOT recommend custom ordering from BlueBonnet Ford…. Even for the most common/best selling 2025 F150…. Placed order January 2025, supposed to take 6-8 weeks, and it requires threats to engage my attorney and talk to the general manager to get my deposit back for them to even contact ford to see why it has taken EIGHT MONTHS to even assign a VIN or start building. Taken so long Ford corp order tracking system gave up sending me notices every 45 days that they haven’t even started on it. Note: been calling the sales guy every 2 months to learn he knows nothing and doesn’t seem to care. FFS they are starting custom orders on 2026 in just 2 more months.

There’s absolutely NOTHING friendly about this Ford dealership. I have been lied to and gaslighted. I called mid June regarding two recall notices. Phyllis said they don’t have the update program yet to call back in about 30 days. Called mid July. Phyllis said they had the program to bring in the car. They kept the car for a week and a half. I got a call from Martin the “EV Manager” (who is in fact not the official EV manager he’s just really smart - his brother went to MIT as established by the Service Director). Not sure how the MOT comment relates to my problem but that’s the explanation the Service Director gave for Martin’s lie about being the EV manager. Martin said the vehicle was ready and recalls were done. He said “we borrowed the program from Tesla”. I picked up my vehicle July 23 not 100% satisfied with the information. On 09/03 I called inquiring about the recalls since they still populated on my Ford app. I received an official notice via mail from Ford that there was program available for the recalls at this time. Martin said the recalls will always remain active (even after completion) as this is a way to put responsibility on the manufacturer. I called a second Ford dealership and they said that’s not true. I asked why did they lie about the recalls being done in July. He doubled down and said they did get done. The vehicle was towed to Friendly Ford on 09/19 to replace 12v battery and the recalls checked AGAIN. On 09/22 Phyllis called me and said the vehicle would be ready (battery replaced and recalls completed) between 2-3 PM. I arrived around 230 PM. I asked Phyllis to speak to the manager because the recalls were “done” in July. I’m livid with the lies and deception by the staff. Cut the SD stating that Martin is not the EV Manager and his brother went to MIT. The SD questioned him as to why he would say that he said well I’m going to be. The Director said you’re not yet, you shouldn’t say that to customers. The SD asked him why did he say the recalls were done in July, Martin said he did not read into each line item, only that the ticket was completed. Apparently, the recalls said incomplete but he didn’t research and told me they were done. The SD continued to state he didn’t understand why I was upset. Cue the SD saying “I don’t think we lied purposefully. Maybe just misled you about what was done”. I told him those are synonyms of each other. The SD didn’t take accountability for the lies about actual work done. Then he said the vehicle was not ready and still needed 6 hours of system updates. I left in a rental they would drop off my car tomorrow morning. On 09/23 I was told the my vehicle was being dropped off. I called them back to tell them the vehicle was having more issues. I texted Phyllis the picture of the blank screen. Phyllis called me at 12:40 PM and said they would pick up my car again. I explained I leave work at 4 PM I have a toddler to pick up at 5 PM if not late pick up fees accrue. She said the vehicle will be there before 4. I called back at 4:06 the rental was not on site and I needed to leave. The rental arrived 4:10 PM. She called me to tell me the rental was finally there that he got lost. I told his this was incompetent. I told her I would not leave a 5 star review. I have a child to pick up and Friendly Ford is obviously not going to cover the late fee costs. Phyllis continuously asked me to leave a 5 star review but to voice my concerns in the comments. I cannot do that in good faith. At 5:18 Tessa, service manager, texted me saying the car screen was fine. I explained to her what was going. Tessa then began to gaslight me saying I have no right to be upset or call the staff incompetent with the service they’ve provided. She then said I had no right to say I was going to give them a 1 star. I explained I have every right to be upset as I have been blatantly lied to. I explained to her WHY I cursed at the situation, not at Phyllis. She gaslight me/ refused service.

That was back in March—and I’ve been dealing with problems ever since. The so-called “extended warranty” is nothing short of a nightmare. You’ll end up paying more in rental car fees than the cost of the warranty itself. Their warranty claim process drags on for weeks, leaving your car sitting at the service center while you’re stuck paying out of pocket for transportation. I’ve had to take this vehicle in four separate times for service. To avoid piling on more rental fees, I eventually paid the invoice out of pocket—even though the warranty should have covered it. This dealership prioritizes their bottom line over their customers’ well-being. If you’re thinking about buying from here, I strongly urge you to think twice. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

As a long time Wimberley Resident , I need my communities assistance please. 151 days ago, I had my Ford Explorer towed to Griffith in Ford San Marcos to have a new sensor put into it. My husband got the old sensor out (with the assistance of our son who is an active duty Army large engine mechanic) but here at our home we were unable to put the new sensor into place. Since we couldn't get the new one in, we towed it from Wimberley to where we bought it brand new in 2018. My car only has 47,000 miles on it. My problem is my car is still not fixed and they have replaced so many things on my car now including the alternator, battery, (which was said to be in good condition upon their intake on March 4th) crank sensor, throttle body, reducer wheel, and more but I can't remember the names of it all. On May 22nd they said my car was back jumped. They are trying to say that had happened while in our possession before being towed there. Which is simply untrue. The bill now sits at $7,000 and they said we need a whole new PCM. When I didnt agree with what they are wanting to charge me, I was asked what I thought was a fair price to pay. I am asking all of you, if anyone knows Chris Griffith, owner of Griffith Ford, or a way to let him know that for the last 5 months I have been leaving him a message at the dealership every week. He hasn't returned my calls so maybe he isn't getting the messages. The receptionist always alpologizes and lets me know that he is a very busy man. Im sure he would assist if he knew I was trying to reach him, given the fact he was there to shake my hand when I wrote him a personal check for both of my new cars that I have bought from him and now he won't return my call. Let him know that this Grandma, mother of five, bought my car new from him and it only has 47,000 miles and I would like him to stand by a car he sold to me.

As we were getting ready to head south our air conditioning on our 2023 expedition started to act up and only blow hot air . 3:00 pm on a Friday and 500 miles from home and heater on full blast would have been an unbearable drive. We rolled in to dealership and I must say I have never been treated better. They took it in and worked their magic and an hour later we had cold ac and vehicle was fixed . I know its under warranty and however we bought our vehicle in south texas . They could of easily said we are busy come back Monday however they went above and beyond.
