I've been wanting an Acura TLX when Acura announced discontinuing the model for 2026. I emailed Edmond Kim months before coming by to see the car. He was very considerate & patient when making a decision if I wanted to buy the car. I ended up purchasing the car after reaching a deal that I'm comfortable paying for. The finance manager was amazing to work with, and probably the best one I've ever worked with. Shout out to Jean-Pierre for making the finance part of the deal stress-free & a pleasant experience. I've always dreaded the finance part of the car-buying experience, but Jean-Pierre was top-notch in taking care of the customer. Thanks so much!! The whole staff at Marin Acura are amazing to work with. I even met the General Manager, and she was also had a vibrant pleasant aura about her. The Internet salesperson I dealt with is two-faced. When getting internet price quotes from Putnam Lexus, the same salesperson gave me two price quotes on two similar cars. The first price quote explained the details, and salesperson told me to make an appointment when I'm ready. The second email from the same person used slimy sales tactics (get in-store today or no deal) to try to high pressure me to close the deal as soon as possible without even having looked at the car. Therefore, buyer beware when dealing with sales here. Understand their sales strategies and tactics, and move at your pace, not theirs.

⭐⭐⭐ Extremely Disappointing Customer Service — Think Twice Before Buying Here I purchased a beautiful vehicle from Subaru of Hayward on April 2026. Unfortunately, what started as a positive purchase quickly turned into one of the most disappointing customer-service experiences I have ever had with a dealership. Only three months after purchasing the vehicle, in July, the socket door suddenly fell completely off while I was driving in traffic during my anniversary weekend out of town. I was shocked to discover that the door had apparently been glued on rather than properly secured. When the handle eventually failed to support it, the entire door came off. The result? $1,250 out of my own pocket to have it repaired. I contacted Sunny Khan, the Finance Manager, and explained exactly what had happened. I was hoping the dealership would at least investigate the situation and show some willingness to help, particularly since the issue occurred only three months after I purchased the vehicle. Instead, I was essentially told that it was my fault for not discovering the problem before I bought the car. Sunny chose to rely on the dealership's "as-is" position rather than take any responsibility or even make a meaningful effort to help resolve the situation. That was the part that bothered me the most. I understand that used vehicles can be sold "as is." But "as is" should not be an excuse for poor customer service or for simply dismissing a customer when a significant problem surfaces shortly after purchase. At a minimum, I expected the dealership to listen, investigate, and demonstrate some concern for the customer. Instead, I got the impression that once the sale was completed, the dealership's responsibility to me as a customer was over. To be clear, I love the vehicle itself. That's the only reason I'm giving three stars rather than one. My rating is a reflection of the vehicle—not the customer service I received after the sale. My experience with Sunny Khan was essentially: No accountability. No meaningful assistance. No attempt to find a reasonable solution. And all the blame is placed on the customer. If you are considering buying a used vehicle from Subaru of Hayward, my advice is simple: "Get everything inspected independently before you sign anything". Look beyond how beautiful the vehicle looks and don't assume that previous repairs were properly performed. I purchased what I thought was a beautiful vehicle from a reputable dealership. Unfortunately, when I needed the dealership to stand behind the customer experience, I felt completely abandoned. Buyer beware.

I have purchased a 2001 BMW Z3 from Cal West Motors last month. It's a nice clean looking, low mile car and came with a clean carfax report. The dealer I had worked with, Brian Casey assured me that there were no issues with the car and that there mechanics do a thorough check of all vehicles before sales. The car drove smoothly and I trusted his word. A few days prior to going back to get my tags and registration from them, I had discoverd paper work from the previous owners mechanic that showed the car had issues that needed attention. upon receiving my tags from Brian, I had informed him of the preexisting issues, all he did was stare at me like a deer in headlights. Mike Casey, whome I belive is his father, came up and asked if there was a problem, in which I had calmly repeated myself adding that I was taking the car to my mechanic and would like to work out some type of compensation. He flat out refused and it was obvious, did not want to discuss it any further. I told him that tey would be getting bad social media reviews and his reply was "do what you have to do" and walked away. After the fact, I had gotten news from my mechanic that the car has a number of additional issues and needs north of $8,000.00 worth of work. More than half of what I paid for the car. This is an ourageus rip off by Cal West Motors. Criminal im my opinion. Will be definitely seeking legal consult on this issue.
