This was my first experience purchasing a new car, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better one. At first, I was simply browsing the dealership lot to see what they had available. I wasn’t planning honestly couldn’t have asked for a better one. At first, I was simply browsing the dealership lot to see what they had available. I wasn’t planning on purchasing a car that day, and one thing I really appreciated was that I didn’t feel bombarded by salespeople. That gave me the freedom to look around and take my time. As I was leaving, Jose greeted me with a smile and asked me one simple question. I gave him my honest answer: I was just browsing, and what I was looking for wasn’t available at that location. We went inside, and Jose searched the database to see what might be available elsewhere. Not only did he find what I was looking for, but he made the entire process feel easy and comfortable. We drove to a different lot, where I saw the vehicle in person and immediately liked it. During the test drive back to the dealership, Jose explained many of the vehicle’s features and went over the things I had told him were important to me. More importantly, he listened. I shared my story about why I was currently without a car, and he understood what having a vehicle again would mean for me. The closer we got back to the dealership, the more I started feeling that this was mycar. Jose understood that this purchase was about more than simply buying a vehicle. It was about the positive impact it could have on my life. I almost didn’t take the car. I needed a few minutes to myself, so I went for a short walk and really thought it through. When I returned to the dealership, I asked for Jose, and we both had a good laugh. What stood out most to me was Jose’s patience and empathy. He didn’t feel like the stories I’ve heard of a salesman pressuring in trying to make a sale. He felt more like a friend giving me his honest opinion and helping me make the right decision for myself. Even after the purchase, Jose followed up with a courtesy call the next day to make sure I was truly happy with my decision. That meant a lot to me. Now, a few days into driving my new car, I have absolutely no negative thoughts or doubts about my purchase. I’m genuinely happy with my decision and totally looking forward to all the new adventures and memories I’ll be driving into.
