I went in for service on My 2005 Liberty and found out they no longer make parts for it. I was surprised and unsure what I should do, when I decided to check out the used cars on the lot. Cory was terrific and personally helped me find vehicles within my price range. He paired me with Rick Rippy and the details were worked out on my new car! I had no idea I'd be purchasing a car, but it was easy and they were all very kind. I won't take my vehicles to any other service department than the one in Lee's Summit.

I was looking for a specific Jeep Compass, certain features and graphics package, and Auto Plaza in DeSoto was the ONLY dealership in a 60 mile radius that had exactly what I was looking for. Started with texting Brandon about the vehicle, he was quick to respond and provided immediate pricing with our Chrysler employee discount. Upon arrival to test drive the Jeep, Brandon was with another customer and introduced us to Blake. Blake was great! Very knowledgeable about the Jeep and all it's features. Although we didn't buy that same day, I was in contact with Blake while trying to secure financing elsewhere. He was always responsive and answered all my questions....and there were a LOT of questions! Once my financing was secured, we met Blake and he went over all the little details this vehicle had; helped set up my phone and Sirius XM radio. Would definitely buy from Auto Plaza DeSoto again, and especially from Blake!

Auto Body Experience - 2014TC
I was very pleased with the auto body experience I had recently. I called American Family Insurance on Friday about 10 am after hitting a deer about 9:00 the previous evening. They contacted Pettijohn, who called me within 30 minutes to arrange towing my van to their service area. By 2:30 that afternoon, I received a call from Kayla with an estimate of the damage and asked if I wanted them to fix it. I said yes and she said that she could now order parts. She told me it would take about 9 days to complete repairs. I told her that I would need a loaner car because my husband had a doctor appointment in the city on Tuesday. She said that she would have a car ready by Monday and she did. We had a flat tire while driving and had it repaired. I called on the 8th day and Kayla said it was ready to pick up. We went to get our car and looked it over. It looked great! We went in and paid the bill and gave Kayla the bill for fixing the tire and she took it off of our total bill. We were very pleased with the fast service and friendly actions of Kayla and the service personnel.

The service department is the best! They went the extra mile to get my Jeep repaired in a timely fashion. Kind and caring and kept me updated to what was going on at all times, even if it was not so good. Keeping me in the loop, so to speak, means the world to me and not just waiting not knowing about the progress of the repairs. My kudos also go the manager that has assembled such a caring and knowledgeable team in the service department.

Lied about diagnostic ran. - Debbie
When we took our truck in to have diagnostic ran to get the transmission and rear end repaired they only pulled 1 spark plug. There were no miles driven to hear the rumble in rear end and to feel the transmission slipping. We purchased an extended warranty to cover the cost but apparently this makes no difference. We purchased the truck from Ron Elby in Macomb along with the warranty. I was finally told from poage that Ron elby said he would fix the truck if we would bring it to him. Problem is we don't have the time to take it to Macomb and we were told that poages take the warranty. Not happy paying another $135 for diagnostic when nothing was done but pull a spark plug. That is a 15 minute job. I get you have to charge for 1 hour but 1.5 hours? Come on you wanted a cut rate when we spent hours detailng your car's.
