A great buying experience - Bob Brent was particularly helpful in helping us buy our F-150. The dealership has lots to choose from. Portsmouth is not in our local area, but was worth the extra miles due to price and choices. The sales people and service were easy to deal with. Highly recommended!

He updated us on the status of the model we were looking for, found us the car we wanted, and then had his staff work with us upon delivery. Our salesperson, Joseph, even came in on his day off to ensure our car was just what we wanted and to walk us through all the features. Happy with vehicle. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Little to no communication with customer. Doesn’t keep standard parts in stock. Simple CV axle boot repair and don’t have replacement part?! Don’t recommend servicing your vehicle here. Once mine is no longer under warranty- I won’t be.

On May 9, I brought my Ford Edge (the second Edge I've owned) into Grappone Ford for an annual inspection and oil change. I have been a very long time customer of Grappone and always have good service experiences with the Service Department. However, my experience on May 9 was exceptional and that was due to my service advisor, Greg.
I have a son who serves in the US Navy and I have a "Navy Mom" license plate bracket that was a gift from my son. I wanted to put it on my car, but couldn't because the front of the car did not have an attachment for a top fastening license plate bracket. I mentioned it to Greg as I was checking in and he came outside to look at it with me. As we looked at it, Greg wasn't sure if it could be solved. I told him that that was alright and that I would just put the bracket on the back of the car and remove the other bracket I had on there as a solution.
After we went inside, Greg and I were talking about the keyless entry system and I was telling him that I can never remember the code and have to look it up. Within 2 minutes, Greg and I were back outside and he helped me enter a new code that I will remember.
When I came back to pick up my car at the end of the day, all of the work had been done and as a wonderful surprise, my Navy Mom license plate bracket was proudly displayed on the front of my car - which was backed into its parking space so all could see it.
To some people, it may seem like a small thing but to me, it was really important. My husband and I could not come up with a solution that would allow me to have both license plate brackets on my car - but Greg did! And I can proudly show my Navy pride!
Thank you to Greg and the other Grappone staff, including the mechanics/technicians, who made that happen!

When my car (a 2003 Buick) was on its last leg, quite literally, I decided to stop into Bill Dube Ford/Toyota.
I was greeted by Dalton, a very professional, courteous and straight-shooting salesperson who impressed me immediately by her willingness to listen to my needs, and followed through with honesty and integrity during the car buying process.
In addition to Dalton, Bill and members of the finance department were an absolute pleasure to throughout the rest of the car buying process, and it needs to be stressed that not only was this experience pleasant, but my wife and I were treated with respect and dignity (a hard to find trait in many dealerships, in my opinion.
Trade in values for our current vehicles aligned with our prior expectations as well.
If you stop in, request Dalton and Bill by name, and you will not regret it. Those two are absolute assets to the Bill Dube team.

They repaired the a/c system on my Escape and is working better then it ever has. I had a problem with it and took it to a local garage to have it worked on spent $600 and worked only for a short time. Then took it back to Auto Fair and they found the problem and fixed it it's working great. Had many days over 90 degrees and no problems. It's not a bargain if it doesn't get repaired right.

I have been coming to Granite Ford for 3 years for services on my 2014 Escape. In the past I was very happy with the dealer. I made an appointment two weeks in advance for a cabin filter, transmission fluid change and spark plugs. They told me about an hour and a half. After 2 hours I asked how it was going. They said another 15 min extra because they had no spark plugs in stock. My response was why? I called 2 weeks ago and told them the service I needed. Then after 3 hrs I asked again and they said the plugs should be here soon. Then they denied telling me 15 min. Then I went to pay and the changed my coolant instead of the tranny fluid. That's when it got bad. The service person said I asked for coolant not tranny. We argued. My point I made to him is that I called 2 weeks ago and he put it in his computer, I have the service details in my calendar also and I went over it with them apon arrival. The service man I was dealing with then got sent away and a nother man took over. He was better but said the dealership is under new ownership and it all new staff and will get better. I will stay away never again

We bought a used truck from the dealer and within a week the check engine light came on. We took it back to the dealership and the gas tank was falling off due to severe rust. Turns out, it was much worse. The rust was so bad under the truck that it was literally crumbling. We wanted them to take back the vehicle because it wouldn't pass inspection and was dangerous to drive. All they would do was give us back a fraction of what we paid for it and trade in the vehicle. We had no other choice so we traded it in for a car we didn't want that was new so we wouldn't have any issues. Overall terrible experience.

Over the years I have purchased nine vehicles from McDonald Motors, most recently a 2011 F-150. Although I have checked with other dealers and on line for comparisons, I would not purchase a vehicle elsewhere. My experiences there have really been that good. All members of the sales staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make one comfortable and the experience hassle free. One can purchase a vehicle there and expect to leave with a feeling of satisfaction and fairness.
In addition to purchase satisfaction, I always deal with MacDonald Motors to take advantage of the excellent service. In fact, I don’t see how the service could be much better. The service staff is friendly, competent, and efficient. They seem to always keep the convenience and concerns of the customer in mind from routine service to more serious problems. Maintenance issues are carefully and clearly explained as are the options for dealing with them. Customers can count on both themselves and their vehicles being cared for properly.

I am from CT and went to this dealership in NH for repairs while on vacation in July 2015. Not only did they not fix the problem but they charged me over $800 to replace a part they said as worn. They also never showed me the worn parts to prove it was even necessary. Upon return to CT, my regular mechanic was furious that Meredith Ford did what seemed unnecessary work and allowed me to drive an unsafe car because the problem was with the steering. My phone calls were not returned nor was my email to customer service. I plan to file a complaint with the better business bureau.
