In my 40 years plus of purchasing vehicles, buying a car became my least favorite thing in life to do. My recent experience with Gary at Valley Ford has reinstalled my faith in humanity, specifically buying a car. Gary and the team at Valley Ford made the experience by far the best and least stressful experience I have ever had buying a car. Gary handled the sale with professionalism, class, and a keen sense for making his customer feel valued, all without the normal stress I have usually experienced buying cars. You all should be extremely proud of your team at Valley Ford of Huron, and rest assured, I will recommend friends and family come to your dealership, whenever they are shopping for a vehicle.

STAY FAR AWAY!!! The only thing worse then their sales staff, is the service department!!! They will be nice when you are buying from them, but if you have a problem, forget it!! Their service department continually missed diagnosed, an engine coolant intrusion into the cylinders for about 6 to 8 months, which is a common problem on Ecoboost engines. WAKE UP LIBERTY!! They are only interested in selling you a car, NOTHING ELSE!! I'm sure they would have been perfectly fine misleading me, until my warranty was up, and I would have to pay out of pocket. The salesman I bought the car from was only interested in selling me something else, and didn't care about the 40k problem he already sold me. I'm so glad I decided to go somewhere else. DEFINITELY WILL NOT RETURN TO LIBERTY!!

The general manager, Chuck Sturgill, was consistently unprofessional and carried an unwarranted attitude every time we spoke. I even reached out to the GM dealer they own to politely ask for the owner, hoping to address the issue while still trying to buy the vehicle. No one ever called me back. Overall, a poor experience. 👎👎👎

We used Terry Hendricks Ford because they were close to our home and we like a great relationship close bye to for any issues. We were dissatisfied with the no family experience. The other vehicles we purchased seemed to have a dealership that wanted our future participation. Terry Hendricks only wanted a sale. In fact they knew very little about the vehicle we bought and provided inaccurate information. Shame on US for using Terry Hendricks. Look at their comment history! It only shows a few last sales. I will never use Terry Hendricks Ford in the future or recommend them.

I am going to skip to the chase here. I purchased a ford f150 xlt on 06/28/25 from John hinderer ford. The process to get to this point was hectic but we won’t go there. I was supposed to receive a check for $318 and change for the recent service I had completed at John Hinderer Honda on my trade-in vehicle. The factory keypad code was not in the vehicle like I was told it was. Since 06/28/25 I have tried reaching out to the “manager” and the “financial manager”. They keep telling me they are working on it. Recently, the “manager” screens his calls and has the receptionist send me to the financial manager who never calls me back, never follows up and never follows through. I spoke to him today about why a $65,000 truck comes with lane keep assistant but doesn’t have adaptive cruise control. I asked him how much would adding this cost me. He said he wasn’t sure but he would call me back in a few. Well, its now 11:30pm I’m guessing he won’t be calling me back with answers to any of my concerns. Monday I will be visiting John Hinderer Honda and will be requesting to speak to whomever took over for John. I have never been treated so poorly and will never again buy from any John Hinderer locations. My calls are getting ignored/screened, my voicemails aren’t getting returned, my money hasn’t arrived, my door lock code hasn’t been found and I can’t get an answer on something as simple as how much something costs. DON’T BUY HERE.

Today my elderly mother took her 2020 Ford Escape in for factory service. She was treated poorly by one of two service personnel and he was very inattentive to her needs or concerns with the vehicle. After a short time period, she was advised her vehicle service was completed but found no reason for the service display wrench icon, speculating that her oil simply needed changed. This vehicle was purchased new from Waikem Ford & has less than 17,000 miles. She was charged $90 for an oil change & tire rotation. The service rep also failed to deduct a $10 service coupon she presented prior to the vehicle being serviced, promising to make it up to her "next time." After speaking with her today, I can assure the Diehl management team both in Massillon & Butler PA she nor any other member of our family will patronize any of your dealerships again for service or sales. We have long supported the Waikem family of dealerships having lived in the Massillon area for over 55 years. My wife & I personally have purchased over 12 new & used cars from Waikem over the decades but no longer. Perhaps Corinna Diehl needs more stringent oversight of the Massillon operations to ensure the total lack of concern to customers is remedied but any corrective action will be too late for us.
