My lease was due August 24, 2019 and I went to Marty Melone at Boardman Subaru on South Ave., Boardman, OH and he made my turn in and new lease extremely easy. But I had to buy this one on my own and I've always loved the look of the Outback. Mike did an outstanding job getting me into a car that I love within my budget. And my mom was so impressed with his sales manner that she's now considering buying from him and she lives in Canton! My wife and I recently met with Mia Knicely in sales to finalize a purchase on a leased vehicle. I'm 66 years old and by far Mia is the most gracious, honest, straight-forward, efficient sales representative from an auto dealership that I've ever met during my lifetime. We previously purchased a Subaru Forester and received the same, consistent approach from Mia. Due to my recent disability and loss of income she assisted us with lowering our payment to meet our budget requirements. Mia is superb enough at her job that she should be considered a standard for excellence within her profession.
In addition, we met with Mark Thomas, Finance Manager for the first time. Mark also has a down-to-earth, gracious and honest approach with a wealth of knowledge that prompted him to assist us with additional cost avoidance on our payment and additional value-added services at minimum cost to us.

After contacting all the dealerships in my area, Waikem offered me the most reasonable price for a lease of the 2019 Subaru Impreza. I mean about $20-40 cheaper(monthly) than the bigger dealerships!
I did all my negotiating via email and was impressed to see my salesman, Erik Bettinger, stick to it through the almost 2 month negotiation period. Most of the other dealers I contacted stopped communicating with me after 2 weeks of emailing, but Erik was patient and saw the deal through to the end. He was quite straightforward and presented me all the numbers I asked for without trying to hide any information or play games.
I was unhappy at first because Waikem increased the price of the vehicle I was working with and I was expected to pay a higher price than the original offer I was quoted from their website. But after a couple back and forth with Erik this was rectified and I got the vehicle at the price I wanted it!
Test driving and picking up the vehicle was a breeze. No one tried to talk me into purchasing any accessories I didn't want or need. My salesman, Erik Bettinger, was very professional while being friendly, and I enjoyed my overall experience of leasing from Waikem.

What else can I say besides having a great experience with the team at Hatfield and recommending stopping in to check out a Subie. They had short notice of my arrival from Cincinnati and accommodated my needs every step of the way. Tim, the sales consultant, rode along on my test drive and answered every question I had about my new Subaru Forester as well as teaching me a few key differences Subaru provides over other manufacturers. Great stuff! Tim was very helpful with setting up my account with Hatfield and making sure I had the accessories I was looking for on the vehicle. I would recommend asking for Tim when you plan your visit to Hatfield! After finalizing my decision, I was handed off to their Finance Manager, Frank, who is a master at all things numbers, of course. I recently purchased a '19 Cross Trek. I was working with Dave Fuchs for the whole transaction. I was in and out of SoD a few times, trying to narrow down what model to buy and it was quite a job since I drove other manufacturers products as part of my search. I settled on the Cross Trek for a couple of reasons: I had already purchased and drove a Forester, so this was making me a second time buyer. I had a good experience with the Parts & Service Dept at SoD, and I really liked the courtesy and professionalism of the sales staff at the dealership. I never go away displeased.

I visited 8 dealerships looking for my new car. Three in Dayton, two in Fairfield, one in Monroe and two in Automall. My Subaru salesperson, Richard was the best. I came back three times - once to see if my granddaughter’s wheelchair would fit in the back of the Outback, again with my grandson to see the colors and again with a CD to hear the sound system (really great sound)

paid $818 for routine service, left with a flat tire. - kqr4
I paid $818 for the 60,000 mile service. Oil change, new spark plugs, and ""inspection of the car". When I started the car and left the service station, the tire pressure gauge light came on, which I assumed just needed time to adjust after the tire rotation. But actually it was my tire deflating, as I found out the next morning. I would not recommend this service shop, as I received careless work that was overpriced.
What was good was that the dealership was prompt in their response to my complaint and sent someone to get my car and fix the tire issue, so I received good customer support. But for $818, I would have preferred for them to notice any issue with the tire when they inspected it, rather than after the fact when I was not able to drive my car for the day and after having to have my partner leave work to put the spare tire on for me. After a full service and inspection, you should not immediately have to deal with a car issue, especially regarding a part of the vehicle which was listed as being inspected.

Stopped in on 12/1 to test drive a car for our 17 year old son. Found a 2014 Focus for 4995 as is. We took the car for a test drive and the transmission was lurching and searching for a gear. Decided to pass. Sales woman Amy brought up a 12 Focus for us to drive...it was so disgusting inside there was no way we were going to drive it. I did re-visit the 14 Focus because it had a recall on the PCM for the Transmission and I thought maybe that would do the trick to correct the issue. I texted Amy that i would like to come back out with a code reader since she said they had no techs to test it. Didn't get a response for quite a while. She mentioned the techs could do it Monday. I texted a few times and not one response at all from her. This is the same place that blew up my phone/email and texts trying to get my business but now all of a sudden there is zero communication. Probably for the best seeing as how disgusting they keep their "as-is" vehicles. I fail to understand why a simple detail could not be performed instead of subjecting customers to a filthy nasty interior. The funniest line she mentioned was about the 12 Focus...claimed the customer babied it. No way in gods green earth that they babied it. Horrible looking inside and out. The tells me no way did they keep up with the maintenance of it. I can't really blame Amy other than lack of communication as management would be the one to set the atmosphere and protocol of how used vehicles are handled. Was my first time there and certainly my last time. "People Pleasin?" c'mon man...not anywhere close.

I had the worst experience with Wagner Subaru including the owner Bo Wagner. On 8/9/18 I requested a price quote for the new Subaru Ascent, I receive the dealer's price with an option witch was price higher then the manufacture's price! the option is code 23 and MSRP is $2,980, dealer's price $3,977. Then they gave me a discount for $500 but actually they overprice the car by $497. The deadline for this offer was 8/16/18. On 8/11/18 I replied with a price to the sells person Will Xue, and also copied to Sam Bexley customer service and owner Bo Wagner. No one responded! On 8/16/18 I contacted costumer service and asked why no one had contact me, they apologize and asked me to give authorization for return call. I authorized that only Bo Wagner to call me and they agreed. Later that day I received a call from a sales person named Greg. I again, told him that my authorization was given for Bo Wagner to call me and not Greg! Also, I, again requested Bo to call me ether that Thu or Fri or Mon 8/20/18 and he promised so. I never heard from Bo Wagner!
Based on those events I do not recommend this dealership, Wagner Subaru!
