Alan was great, put us in a truck with adjustable pedals along with other features we were looking for.
Traded in our Camry which I feel they offered us a fair price. Overall good experience. A little slow in getting everything finalized. Alan was very friendly to work with and did a good job explaining features of our new truck. Juan and Andrew were also pleasant to deal with.

After wasting 4 hours at another dealership, Jeremy, Paul and Michael welcomed me into their dealership. I felt like I was walking on the red carpet to a special event....and it was! I was buying a new Jeep Grand Cherokee and they had it washed, waxed, and displayed right out front!! Their humor and straight to the point pricing took the hassle out of car buying. Impressed yet? Hear this, I pull up and park and get out of my old car. Another salesperson greets me and says, “Hello, you must be here for Jeremy. He is right over there and will be with you in a moment.” Jeremy Ralston then acknowledges me as they are parking a new vehicle inside the showroom and invites me to get in to my new car and take a look around, etc. Very upfront with regards to the value of my high mileage trade and extremely forthright in what I should consider or not consider in purchasing extended coverages! And here’s the highlight.......a FULL tank of fuel. I haven’t had that happen since the mid 80’s when purchasing a new car! This is my 1st Jeep, but with this type of interactions, not going to be my last with Cottage Grove CDJR. Thank you Gentlemen!! What a great experience!

I would like to recognize Legacy Dodge as a 5 star Dealership based on my experiences. I have never had a more positive auto buying experience ever! They didn't have exactly what I wanted so they looked elsewhere; finding the truck I wanted in Washington. I got an excellent deal, and I know that as I had done some price checking. Robb Gregory, Sales Associate, and Nick, Auto Appraiser, were fair straight and upfront, without any playing any games. They delivered the truck to me and gave me a loaner to drive while I waited for mine to get here. The entire team including finance were friendly!
I recently went to the dealership to get my mirror replaced and spoke to James in Parts, who was professional and courteous in getting the mirror ordered and scheduling me to get it fixed. I researched what I wanted in a car and what I want to use it for and came across Jeeps. I have always wanted a jeep that I can take my doors off and go driving along the California coast with. "I digress" My partner and I decided it was time to give my car to my son and went looking for a new car. We spoke with the salesman and explained what we wanted and what our budget was. I was not looking for a new car. Just new to me. He walked us over to the exact car I just described to him and it was in my price range!!

My name is Peter and I purchased a truck from Smolich Ram. I had no idea the road ahead I had in store for myself. Roger was my salesman. I must say that I was not excited about buying a new truck. Roger came off right away very friendly, not pushy and an overall just good man. After test driving some trucks, I chose one and bought it. It was a done deal.
The next day, I noticed some things on the truck that I really didn't like. I went back to Roger and told him my concerns and asked him if I could have another truck. Now, anybody that knows anything about buying a car or truck, knows that once you drive it off the lot, the dealership basically washes their hands of it and you are on your own. Well, when I went back to Roger, he immediately said it would be taken care of and all he cared about was me being happy.
After a little while, Greg came into the picture. Knowing that the dealership had no obligation to replace the truck, Greg pulled strings and jumped hoops to make by buying experience a positive one. After hours and hours of trying to figure out a way to put me in another truck, Roger and Greg told me to pick another truck!!!! I literally almost fell to my knees in gratefulness. Greg had NO obligation to give me another truck. He did it because he knew I was not happy with the truck I was in. This is unheard of in the car industry. I can not be more grateful to these two men who did something in the car industry that I have never heard or imagined.
A few weeks after I received my new truck, Roger called me to check in and see how I liked the truck. Roger is a perfect example of how a salesman should be. Both these men made it clear that you can run a profitable business and please the customer no matter what it takes. Thank you, thank you Roger and Greg for doing what you did and giving me the best car buying experience I have ever had.
Frustrating Service, Treated Like An Inconvenience - robertberkey
I purchased a new 2018 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited at this dealership about a year ago. As I sit here waiting for routine service I realize that every single experience with this dealership is frustrating. The sales experience was frustrating due to a complete lack of communication on an order and zero follow-ups. The service department demonstrates a complete lack of customer service and typically borders on rude, regardless of the representative.
Today’s experience was no different. I was greeted with a cold stare and felt very much like an inconvenience. I was scheduled for routine service but mentioned a few other issues I’ve had with the vehicle that I’d appreciate they check out (not necessarily to resolve) and was essentially scolded for suggesting they consider anything other than the oil change. For them to do anything more... even just listen to the engine, would require I schedule another appointment. It wasn’t just the answer, it was how it was handled.
I love my wrangler. I hate the fact I have to service it at this location. I have 2 other vehicles - BMW and a Buick, and a remarkedly different experience at both of those locations.

Worst Experience Buying A Car - jelthack47
This is by far the worst experience I have ever had when buying a car. I bought my car May 9th and have yet to get my title so that I can get my plates. There have been issues with the financing department because I moved from Washington to Oregon 5 days after purchasing my car so the taxes are wrong. However, it seems like no one is even trying to resolve the issue. After calling several times, I finally talked with someone on the phone who told me the only way to fix it was to resign the paperwork and that I had to do it in person, not through fax. We set up a day for me to come in. He said he would have the paperwork ready when I got there so that it would be short and sweet. I drove all the way there to sit there for 4 hours because no one knew what I was talking about or how to resolve it, and the paperwork wasn’t ready.. I ended up signing new paperwork to change my address and they said they would file it Monday (I went on a Friday) and let me know. Two weeks later and I still haven’t heard anything. I’ve called several times and left several messages. I finally got through yesterday and the finance guy once again had no idea what I was talking about and had to be reminded. He took my phone number down (which is on the answering machine at least 5x) and said he would get it figured out and call me back. He never called me back. I called this morning and again, got his voicemail. Does anyone do their job here?

I took my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee in because my TPMS light was on and blinking, according to my owner's manual I needed to take it in to get scanned. Knowing, only certain places have the appropriate scanner, I took it to MTM because I used to know the former service manager and always had positive results from taking my vehicle in. As soon as I take it in, after making the appointment by phone and explaining my problem and having the person agree that I need to have it scanned, the man at the who takes my keys says the TPMS light means the tire pressure needs to be checked. Obviously, I have already been to Les Schwab numerous times and my tire pressure is fine, also I had looked into before making an appointment. After insisting my tire pressure is fine and that it needs to be scanned, he takes my keys. Anyway $200 and one sensor replaced later, I pick my car up. As soon as I drive it off the lot, the light comes back on. I take it back after work to get scanned because no one answers the phone after I'm halfway back to work. They scan it and said codes needed to be reset but that it is now fine. I drive off the lot again and the light comes on again. I call to make another appointment. I take it in for another scan and they call me back and tell me that now my right front TPMS sensor has gone out and it will be another $200 to replace. I prefer to have no blinking lights in my dash, so I agree to have them order the part. Yes, I did ask whether my left front sensor had even needed to be replaced and they said that yes it was an odd coincidence that the left front one went out and then the right front one went out. That appointment was on March 22, 2013. I have not heard from them since then. It all seems rather fishy now. If possible, I would take your car for servicing elsewhere. I still have a TPMS blinking light in my car. I was willing to pay for the other sensor to be fixed and they never called me back after ordering the part. I was never rude to them, but now I am pretty angry and unsatisfied.

This dealership went above & beyond my expectations! I came in for an routine oil change & shock replacement and left with a smile. While getting the service for my Dodge Truck the Tech Mr. Brian Potter noticed some leaks that needed immediate attention. From his further inspection these were in my opinion & his critical that would have caused a major problem for me on my return trip home. He got on his computer found the parts to install (some parts in inventory some not). That is not all, the Owner found out my situation and at his expense brought the parts in by sending his staff to get them from a surrounding town(s). It was repaired the same day! My hat is off to this Dealership!! In my opinion they are the 'Gold Standard' of Dealerships and others could learn how it is done from them!!!
