I want to start by saying that the service department has been excellent. The staff who helped me during my recent oil change were friendly, professional, and treated me very well. I truly appreciate the customer service they have provided.
Unfortunately, my experience with the vehicle itself has been the complete opposite. I have only owned this car for four months, and it has already had multiple expensive issues.
The day I purchased it, I signed the paperwork, excited to drive home in my new vehicle. It started, but when I tried to put it in drive, the gear shifter wouldn’t move. The check engine light and a “Service Shifter” warning were already on, and the entire gear shifter had to be replaced.
About two months later, the front blower fan stopped working on an extremely hot day while I had my one-month-old baby with me. I had to pay $200 to have that repaired.
Now, just four months into ownership, my front headlight has failed, and I was told during my oil change that the repair will cost more than $1,800.
I put $7,000 down on this vehicle because I wanted something dependable for my family. Instead, I have been faced with one costly repair after another almost immediately after purchasing it. As a single mother of four children, these unexpected expenses have placed a significant financial burden on my family and have made it difficult to keep up with everyday necessities.
While I appreciate the excellent service I’ve received from the service department, I am extremely disappointed in the reliability of the vehicle. I expected a dependable car, not one requiring major repairs within the first few months of ownership. Based on this experience, I will seriously reconsider where I purchase my next vehicle.
