This team brings a whole new meaning to swindle, cheat, trick, and deceit. Call it what you will, but I have never met a more awful group of people to do business with. While we are talking about car sales, they take it to the next level. I do not advise you to step foot in this dealership, and if you do, expect them to attempt at taking full advantage of you. They are looking for a sale, not a life time customer.
Do not even bother with their financing team, go get pre-approved by yourself and get the APR you deserve. If you’re a first time buyer there are a ton of programs looking to give you a great rate (one being BECU). Be sure you investigate all of the outlined “fees” and demand an itemized list of those “fees” - it’s all a part of their game.
And Kia of Portland, if you’re reading this, there is this thing in business called a Custom Lifetime Value. This is the dollar value of a customer relationship, based on the present value of the projected future cash flows from the customer relationship. Why is this important? It encourages companies to shift their focus from profits to the long-term health of their customer relationships, in turn gaining long-term future cash flows. One key way to increase your CLV is through building long term relationships. You currently suck at this, I highly advise you learn a thing or two about it.
I will never walk foot through these doors again. Aka, $0 now and $0 later.
The great news is, I only had to drive 200 miles to Lee Johnson Auto Family in Kirkland, WA to get top notch service. If anyone is looking for a Kia, Chevy or Mazda, find your way to Lee Johnson Kirkland.
Finance department is very shady - Honest person
We dealt with a very nice not pushy saleswoman. Rebecca B. We found a descent deal. With the financial department was the issue. We specifically stated we wanted to use our Credit Union for a better rate. They informed us this would not be a problem. “We can sign the paperwork and they would work with our banking. I had everything ready for them in less than 14hrs. We were told it was to late. The loan had been submitted and gone through their financial institution. So I verified with the financial institution the loan was written through and it had not even been assigned to a loan officer. Financial person was Zack. They were looking to pad there pockets for a one time deal. I will not be a repeat customer.
