I was very impressed with the people in the service department, Mariela and Patrick. While I was waiting I visited with Taylor, he was very helpful in our discussion of electric vehicles. I had brought in my Volt for maintenance work. My local dealer would not attempt to work on my car due to staffing issues. The dealership in Tyler was unable to correct my problem after having the car half a day. You can imagine my anxiety at that point. The staff at McKaig was friendly, helpful and reassuring. I left the car there since it was Friday afternoon. Monday morning I got a call from Mariela and my car was repaired. The repair cost was very reasonable. I am thankful to everyone that I visited with.

Candy was very awesome, polite, friendly and professional. She checked me in for my normal routine oil change and notified me of a recall on my airbags that I wasn't aware of. She asked if I would like to schedule an appointment to repair the recall or just wait extra time for the repair, so I told her since I'm already here just go ahead with the repair.. She kept me updated on the status of my suv and even offered me to use her doordash if I wanted to order lunch because I would be there for a while. To me that was outstanding customer service because she has shown that she cared about my personal needs and my suv. Thank you Candy!!!

I've bought my last 2 cars from Don Hewlett Chevrolet and have had both of them maintained exclusively at their service department. Their Xpress Oil Change service is superb! You don't need an appointment, just drive up and tell them what you need. They review the history of the car, identify any recall or recommended services and present you with their plan for your approval. Once this is completed you relax in their customer center with complimentary beverages, WIFI, etc. Once your service is complete they review it with you, direct you to the folks who handle payment and you're done! It's quick, "painless", and the competitively priced! Most important is that they KNOW MY CAR, and make me aware of everything necessary to maintain it! I'd HIGHLY recommend this service and this dealer......as well as the Chevrolet Equinox!

About 20 miles east of Sierra Blanco my check engine light went on. Spoke with Danny Martinez on the phone and he was able to provide me with reassurance that my Buick would make it to El Paso. Once there he and the staff were able to determine the cause: bad gas and got me on the road home to Santa Barbara, California-Free of Charge!
