My experience from beginning to end was great. Salesman Zachary interacted with me and my son. Sales Manager Scott understood my finances and wiggled where there was wiggle room. And lastly Michelle I believe was her name, finance was super pleasant. I would def do business here again. Did not come in contact with anyone who wasn’t pleasant.

2017 Escalade - ken & Debbie 17
Boyd Chevrolet Buick GMC of Emporia, Virginia was great to deal with. Their staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help in any way possible. The Sales staff was able to answer all questions we had and we feel that we were not pushed to make any decision. My Salesman, Logan Rowley, explained several options that made our decision to purchase the 2017 Escalade easy. We would recommend Boyd to family and friends.

It’s great to have a shop where I feel like my business is valued and I trust they will do great work for a fair price. I wouldn’t hesitate to send any friend or family there. Joey is always very helpful and professional. I’d make Colonial my first choice for any future vehicle purchase based on the service.
Truck was advertised on various web sites at a lower... - don
Truck was advertised on various web sites at a lower price than most dealers. When I tried to purchase, they said the price had gone up 2500.00 I attempted to purchased the truck in Jan. Sales manager gave me the rebates and a total price, which I was told was lower than they should be selling it for. I gave them my Drivers license, address, copy of the new insurance card to get the paperwork going. I was told that the finance manager would call me with the details. After I did not receive a call, I texted the sales manager. I got no response, although I did get a read receipt from his cell phone. Couple days later, same thing, no response. on the 3rd of Feb. I told them that I would be coming down to pick up the truck. He immediately replies that the rebates have changed and the new price is $2500.00 more. This is a scam of a dealership and the owners should be ashamed of the management that is working for them.

Recently purchased a van from Berglund Used Cars on Williamson road. Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly. They went above and beyond from the second I walked in all the way through financing. I will definitely buy my next vehicle through them! I can't say enough about how friendly the staff was. By far the best car buying experience I have ever had and I've purchased a lot of vehicles.

I always go here due to coupons available to help with cost, although my friends are getting free oil changes in Lynchburg for being nurses (just saying) but the staff is fast and friendly

This had nothing to do with covid19. This is just the way... - gnick
This had nothing to do with covid19. This is just the way the dealership does business it's service department that is on August 28th I had my 2008 Chevy suburban end have what they said with an engine replacement. They said it was going to be about 10 days to do the job. got no updates got no how are you this is what we're doing but now it is September the 29th and they say now that they're finished with it. oh yes by the way we had to put new motor mounts in the truck without telling you or asking for authorization. I understand that you need motor mounts but where they old or will they broken. There was money already in the estimate to cover unexpected parts due to age rust and etc. I said they called numerous times to try to get a hold of someone to ask for authorization but nothing registers in the call logs of the cell phone. I spoke to Warren Morrell in the service department. He tried to explain to me that he was doing me a favor for putting those in without asking for any authorization to do so. If this is how Ken Houtzs service policy is I think it's pretty xxxx poor that they don't have to ask the customer to fix things without their authorization to go above a certain amount of dollars. most companies the work stops until you get authorization. so what's my opinion that you need to watch them very closely at every itemized list and everything they do because they might try to slip in something that may or may not needed fixing you just don't know because they already said they like doing it your best interest but I will never get service done there ever again and I will never buy another car from them ever again because of this particular incident thank you. This had nothing to do with covid19. Called by the owner himself and he asked me to change this review and put in a certain thing and I said I would I will say that ken houtz Chevrolet did pay for the motor mounts and labor to put them in because they didn't ask for authorization and this was the correct thing to do. Will they do this to anybody else, I don't know so you have to keep an eye on them. They quoted me one labor rate before the job even started and then after it was completed it was another labor rate so keep an eye on it and get it in writing. thank you because there is a whole lot of she said he said things that go along in there that they will tell you and not do it un less it is in writing.
After picking up Suburban after a month. and a $8000 engine Replacement the truck is still having the same PROBLEM.
After speaking to Mr. Morrell this morning He said they would look at this AGAIN. This has been one big nightmare dealing with KEN HOUTZ CHEVEROLET. Not because of the prices that Mr. Morrell charges to for the same problems but different people it is because I expected the utmost knowledge and professionalism from a dealership that has been around for 40 YEARS but I still got a suburban doing the same thing after being told that a NEW engine would FIX IT ALL. $8000 Later..IT DID NOT.
again if any one reads this save yourself a nightmare and headache and DONT DEAL WITH MR. MORREL OR THIS DEALERSHIP
Thanks for reading
They said it was a cracked spark plug, but I know that this truck will do the same thing again and they left the EGR SENSOR and say it is not part of the engine I spent $8000 and it didn't com with that? Stay AWAY Run fast
Reynolds really is a gem of a small town family... - IdontwanttodieinaMalloyford
Reynolds really is a gem of a small town family dealership, like they used to be. You can feel the tradition here because they've been around since 1938 so it's 100% authentic. If you could bottle up this experience, dealerships in bigger markets would desperately want to sprinkle this magic all over their showrooms and service departments, but that's impossible. I'm nostalgic because I even bought my first car here as a teenager off the used car lot. Even though it was a VW it's what I could afford at the time! If you live in the Orange area the smartest thing to do is buy a GMC, Chevy, Buick, Cadillac or Subaru. Since you'll get to so conveniently get expert service or do warranty work on it locally without having to drive over 20 miles to surrounding areas for other brands. But even with other makes you can trust their service and body shop or putting tires on your sports car or getting inspections done, it's all painless, friendly and you can trust the techs, the service advisors, the shop manager, the young lady that reminds you of an appointment the next day, the sales team, the family owners who actively work there everyday. Everyone here you can be assured they care about you the customer and your car, suv or truck. Any issues that do rarely arise they will go to unexpected lengths to make it right and you driving away happy in the end. In a small town you're not just another anonymous profit generator or sale. You're part of a community where exceptional businesses that have figured out what it takes to stay successful for over 80 years take pride in their personal customer service provided at a very high standard. Good reputation is everything in a place where everyone knows everybody and Reynolds has a great one in spades.
Lets talk about RONDA MCLEAN.I have had my car serviced... - Krys C
Lets talk about RONDA MCLEAN.
I have had my car serviced in the past at Suttle for 2 years straight and NEVER experienced what I did today 1/4/2021. Im visiting the area for the holidays and my transmission decides to give me a run for my money, I had the vehicle towed there 12/31/20 in hopes of them getting it in on Monday 1/4 since her team was off Friday....cool. Here we are Monday and the appts at 7:00am...mind you again...Im visiting...so any info in a timely fashion is critical so I may return home for my children to return to school. Well I have phone record of me calling her and leaving her a couple of messages...no response...call the service dept to be directed...no response but “ it hasnt been diagnosed” so I send my sister who lives up the street to go check because again...I NEED TO GET HOME TO FLORIDA and Im vehicle-less. Im on the other end of the phone when I hear how NASTY AND RUDE AND PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE this woman is to my sister when she is merely trying to get a status of my vehicle so that I know what next steps to take...its a but stressful when your dealing with a deployed husband and have to make serious financial decisions in his absence. My sister proceeds to speak with the manager which in our opinion was very understanding who ultimately got RONDA to call me at freakin 5pm...(did i mention my car got dropped off NYE and my appt was 7am today?) just to say I needed a new transmission. Soooo you couldn't just tell me that from the beginning??? I had to wait a full day to say a new trans was needed? Needless to say I had my car removed from the dealership because its service like that, that makes me NEVER want to come back and be mistreated and mishandled like that again. Im very disappointed with her attitude and customer service and I really hope her manager sets her straight because you never know who you are dealing with. I wasnt not once nasty to this woman and I was honestly excited to have my car taken care of there since Ive had prior work and services done there in the past and she was excellent. Very sad to see the way thinvs turned out and for what? She needs to fix her attitude and be very careful on how she communicates with her customers because the next one may not be so nice as to simply go see a manager. Very very disappointed in Suttle.

Matt Langsam, thanks for an easy car buying experience. I was nervous about buying an electric car but you convinced me with your knowledge of the product. I’m excited about the Bolt, I love it’s premium package and it’s the perfect commuter car! We will fiscally save $8600.00 dollars the first 3 years we own it. And, it’s fast when you need it to be. I don’t feel like I’ve sacrificed anything by giving up a gas powered vehicle. And, I really like the idea of going green for the environment. Thanks for everything and we enjoyed working with you!
The service was adequate and addressed my concerns.... - DS1973
The service was adequate and addressed my concerns. However, I believe that the team should provide closer attention to make additional improvements to customer service. I brought my vehicle in during a seemingly 'slow' time but the sense was that the employees were busied and was only interested in the minimum information required to perform service. This is the second scheduled servicing where the response from the employees was sort of 'meh'. I don't recall the name of the service cashier, but she was personable and professional. A good example of customer service in my opinion. I intentionally bypass several Buick dealers to bring my vehicle in for service as this is the dealer from which I made my purchase. If the customer service improves, I will make my next purchase from here as well. If it declines, I will take my business elsewhere.
Other than the observation outlined here, the results of the attained service have been at least on par with other manufacturers that I have dealt with. I would hope that the level of customer service continues or improves.

PURCHASE OF LEXUS - Hokie
I was browsing Ramey’s Website and found a pre-owned Lexus which I liked. The Lexus was on their Richlands lot. I contacted them via E-mail to get more information about the vehicle and to discuss pricing. I exchanged multiple E-mails with Sidney Smith and Brandon Sheets. After we had basically negotiated a deal via E-mail, my wife and I traveled to the Ramey-Richlands dealership to test drive the vehicle. While driving the vehicle, we discovered that the windshield had a tiny chip / pit, which the dealership promptly had repaired to our satisfaction at their cost. We then finalized the deal.
While visiting the dealership, we met with Brandon Sheets (manager), Christian Yates (sales), Frank Browning (sales), Eugene Hilton (sales), and Chance Moore (finance). All of them were very professional, courteous, friendly, cooperative, and helpful. This was our first experience with the Ramey-Richlands dealership, and it was very positive. We would not hesitate to deal with the Ramey-Richlands staff again for future vehicle purchases.
FRAUDULANT SALES - ecaison
I PURCHASED A USED VEHICLE THAT HAD HIDDEN ISSUES. I ASKED IF THERE WERE ANY BEFORE PURCHASE THE DEALERSHIP SAID NO! THEY DO NOT CONDUCT BUSINESS IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER OR INTEGRITY, AND IS VERY DISHONEST ABOUT WHAT THEY TELL THE CUSTOMER! WITHIN 45 DAYS OF PURCHASE, THE VEHICLE WAS DISCOVERED TO HAVE A BLOWN HEAD GASKET! YOU CAN READ MY COMPLAINT WITH THE VIRGINIA ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE. I RECCOMMEND FOR ANYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP !!!

Worst car buying experience ever. I came Friday with my husband to purchase a truck. They sold the car to somebody else right underneath our nose. Caleb was the salesperson who assisted us. Friday night we agreed to purchase the vehicle. We left the dealer on Friday WITH A SIGNED BUYERS ORDER. We were told to come back Monday to complete the transaction. They were pushing their own financing down our throats when we came with our OWN bank to finance the vehicle with. Since we weren’t using their own bank, they added 1k to the price. We return Monday. My husband was there for an hour while I waited in the car. Out of NOWHERE the manager comes out to tell us they sold the truck to someone else. His exact words to us were “first come first serve.” No integrity. No values. No principals. Oh, and no follow up phone calls from Caleb the entire weekend. I told my husband we’ll find a better truck, preferably one with NO RUST.
