Oil Leak - dmwooda
Had to take our Buick Enclave in for an oil change when we found out that one of the seals was leaking and was spraying oil over the engine. Frank took car of setting my wife up with a rental while the repairs were made (took over a week since the engine had to be pulled). Got the Enclave back and it was still leaking oil. Turns out there was an issue with the seal. A few days later (and another rental!) and the Enclave is back with no issues. Great service as always! Thanks Frank!

I went to Southern GMC Greenbrier in Virginia to upgrade my previous work truck. Upon arrival I was greeted like the King I am, but it didn't stop there. The service I received surpassed anything I have ever been offered in my life or anything I have ever received. I was brought to tears on more than one occasion with joy and complete satisfaction.
I knee my intention was to ride out in a new ride and was under the impression that all they cared about was selling me one. Oh no, my satisfaction and comfort was their number one goal. After I told my sales representative CHRIS my choice of interest, he took me to exactly that with keys in hand, he then brought to the same location 3 similar trucks and immediately started explaining the difference of each. I learn so much that day I grantee I can start selling cars. I would recommend all my families and friends to pay this dealer ship a visit. My wife and I experienced a staff that was very professional and informative regarding the Buick Cascada we were considering and all the options we had dealing with the expired lease from another manufacturer.
I had visited the dealership about 1 year ago when I first saw the Cascada displayed outside their building. I met Gary Woods, the Sales Manager and his Manager Ernie. Both remembered me when my wife appeared this time and welcomed us back. Gary and his Associate Eloy Ayala were very helpful demonstrating the many features of the car as well as our financial options. We thought about all our options, called Gary several times with questions. Each time our questions were answered with a "please call back with any other questions".
We finalized the expired lease with the other dealer today and took possession of the Cascada. Again Gary and Eloy were incredibly helpful throughout the process as was Tyler the financial manager.

After having a check engine light come on my 2014 Chevy Cruze while out of town on Friday, March 9, 2018, I ended up at the service department of Lindsay Buick GMC. Due to numerous screw-ups, failures and problems, the dealership had my car on 3 separate occasions that spanned 5 days (including them having to drive from Warrenton to Fairfax to pick up the car after additional problems arose).
As my complaint was very detailed and included a photo, I’m unable to fit the entire complaint in this limited field so I’ve posted it on this Facebook page: "My complaint against Lindsay Buick GMC"
When in NY why not go to VA for a Jeep - DinUpstateNY
I just want to say that the team at Shenandoah Motors went above and beyond through the whole process. I had done my due diligence in knowing the make, model, and some "extras" that I sought, however, to find that package in non-xxx rust bucket for a price that was reasonable in upstate NY for a Jeep Unlimited was like watching a one legged unicorn run. It just doesn't happen. Everything is over priced for what is demand, but to find it in a manual 6 speed, with a hardtop to boot. I didn't mind taking my search to the next logical step, and extended my radius. I found an amazing Jeep, in a spectacular head turning color, and immediately submitted an online app for credit approval. Now the boys at Shenandoah had their work cut out for them. They perserveered, got me the financing that put me not only in the vehicle that I wanted, but a payment that I was ready to make. This is leaps and bounds ahead of my local dealers abilities, 640.00 a month-get outttaaaaa herrrre. Beyond that became their unending friendly approach to sealing the deal and getting the job done. They mailed up my documents, while I'd love to say seamless there was a snafu, but the guys at Shenandoah quickly made it right, and alls well that worked out well, I got a cheap and easy flight down, showed up to the dealership and signed a couple of documents and out the door with my shined up and gassed up new ride. Honestly, from one person shopping out of state to another, definitely work with this knowledgeable and aim to please team! If you're near the Front Royal, VA area well then by all means take advantage of your proximity, because Pete Talley is a great Finance Guru to get you what you want, Trey did a great job and even Robbie was super friendly as they sent him (an hour away to Dulles) to chauffer me right to the dealership. Really a great buying experience, but even better when you have a no non-sense get you what you want dealer!

I purchased a used BMW from this dealership. I was promised and given a pink "WE OWE" you document for a 2nd key. A month later they said it was "mailed out". They claim that it was lost by the USPS. KOONS did not have a tracking number since it was not shipped by FedEX , UPS, or certified mail so I would have to sign for it. Now I have to pay out of pocket for a 2nd key that I was promised.
I've had the car for less than 30 days and driven it for roughly 500 miles and had AC issues. I took it to a real legitimate dealership for repairs it will cost $1,400++ for parts and labor. I reached out to KOONS management which didn't reply right away. They dragged their feet hoping the problem would go away. When they did reply, they would NOT honor their 30 Day Used car warranty. They will argue and put blame on others just to get out of being held liable for any damages. I'm not sure why they even have paper work such as warranties and '"we owe" you documents since KOONS does NOT honor any of these. I warn any potential customers to stay away. They are NOT a customer first focused dealership. I will never do business with this group ever again and I will pass the word, to anyone looking for a vehicle. DON'T BUY KOONS!

This place is a mess. They cost me money because they said to hold my tags while they do paperwork for a transfer, after 2 months and an insurance violation due to that now they say they can't transfer between classes and now can't give me tags at all. Because of the violation they caused.

Service Contract Scam - Kurtisturman
We purchased a vehicle with them and bought a service contract. It was explained to me that as little no as we went to our selling dealership we would pay no deductible go anywhere else pay 100 bucks. Go in to have a repair done and boom hundred bucks. I’m like no this is my home dealership. Bottom line I was hustled that whole thing I was told was a lie and now I’m having to pay. I don’t mind it’s a hundred bucks but my issue is the way we was told was dishonest and it just reminded me of the used “car salesman.”
Furthermore, call customer service and everyone is unbelievably rude. This whole ordeal has just made me not ever want to purchase another GM product again. Truly disappointing because 3 of my past 4 vehicles were GM products. SMH

Will do and say absolutely anything for a sale. Their level of dishonestly is a poor reflection of a small town like Farmville. You will basically give your vehicle away if you trade to them. Pay attention to numbers and add-ons. You may think they are loyal, especially if you know them from outside of the dealership...don't be fooled. It takes a certain breed to treat people this way in a small town. I mean, It doesn't take a MBA to know this isn't good business practice.

I took my car to be services after it had been in an accident. The work performed was marginal if best with horoble paint job. And had my stereo stolen while it was in the possession of the dealership service center. This business is horoble! The staff was extremely rude and the service center does shady maintenance I do not recommend this business.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT! - Wise Green Owl
I recently scheduled my wife's Subaru Outback for routine maintenance at this dealer's service department. The car was supposed to have the oil and oil filter changed, spark plugs replaced, and air cleaner installed. My wife dropped her car off for a day and brought it home the next evening, PRESENTING ME WITH A BILL FOR $1352.37!!!!
The dealership did not do the work I had requested; rather, they did something called "Premium 60K Service".
I contacted the Service Manager and expressed my outrage. He promised to check into it and call me back. One of his service technicians called about an hour later and claimed that "my wife had requested the additional work."
Now, my wife knows nothing about auto maintenance and would not have understood any jargon which may have been used. But there is a much larger issue at stake here, and that is THE ABUSE OF CUSTOMER TRUST!!!
When I schedule a vehicle for maintenance at an auto dealership, I expect them to do the work I have requested, AND NOTHING ELSE. If they think additional work is necessary, they should CONTACT ME FIRST!!!
We will never visit this dealership again, and have made a point of telling everyone we know to avoid them. If anyone ever suggests you do business with them, I suggest you RUN, NOT WALK, AS FAST AS YOU CAN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION!!!
