This review is a community review of Mr. Kenny Long, Sales Consultant with Greenbrier Motor Company in Lewisburg, WV. I do not know Mr. Long personally, but I recently ran into him one evening at Kroger when I was having difficulty with one of my tires and I didn't know what to do. I drove around the gas pumps and stopped to ask for help. He came right over and looked at my tire and offered to help me. He met me at the air pump, put air in for me, talked to me the whole time, explaining what to do and giving me helpful advice. He was exactly who I needed at exactly the right time, and he didn't want anything in return for the help. We shook hands, and he did give me his business card. As I drove home, I reflected on how helpful he had been and my thankfulness, and how he is an asset to our community, and I'm sure he is to the company as well. I don't need a vehicle right now, but I can say that Kenny would be the type of person I would want to deal with if I was looking to purchase a vehicle. Based on the character traits that he showed towards me that evening when I needed a helping hand - compassion, willingness to help, honesty, trustworthy, resourceful, positive attitude - I would confidently highly recommend Kenny Long. I could not submit this review unless I selected a reason for visit, make/model of vehicle, etc., so I did have to select answers for those questions. However, this was only a community review that I hoped people would find helpful - I didn't actually visit the shop.

I am writing this review in hopes of saving others some of the stress and aggravation I had with both my Jeep and dealing with Dutch Miller Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (DMCDJR) on a minor warranty repair that took nearly 3 months start to finish! In August 2021 I purchased a new Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve. Leading up to this purchase my wife and I explored several mid to high end import SUVs (BMW X5, Mercedes GLE 350, Volvo XC 90 & Audi Q7). All were in close price range and similarly equipped to this Jeep but we chose Jeep because it was American made and thought that would be an edge in service and parts. I never expected to test this theory. On August 17, 2023 the Jeep’s gear selector knob refused to rotate out of park. Roadside assistance was called and it was towed that evening to DMCDJR. I spoke later that day with Svc. Advisor Tommy and he saidhe was waiting on a hole in his schedule to look at it and most likely it would be the following week. The next week I checked back multiple times being told they hadn’t had any openings and were waiting on a cancellation in order to work it in. Into the 2nd week I finally had to ask to be scheduled for fear this waiting game would just keep pushing us further down the line plus we had to keep renting a car for weeks at a time and a timeline would help us better plan. Miraculously Tommy had scheduled us that day for an opening several days later. By the 3rd week they had at least diagnosed the problem saying it needed a Valve Body/TCM Assembly. Several weeks went by with no movement. Eventually they located the part and had it installed but it did not fix the problem. Fortunately I called the day after to find this out and when I asked what the next steps were I was told they were trying to reach a Jeep engineer for better guidance. Finally an engineer made contact with DMCJR and told them the replacement Valve Body/ TCM Assembly was “probably” bad and to order another one. Several more weeks went by, and my calls to (DMCDJR) grew from weekly check-ins to twice a week, to every two days or more. Eventually I got an email from Jeep cares that my part had been delivered to DMCDJR. The next day I called Tommy who confirmed it had arrived and I was next on the list (I was always next on the list). Each day that week I called to check in and got one story after another as to why my part hadn’t been installed. The best was early the following week with no movement, I was told they were going to get me in as soon as they got a part in for another car having a transmission repair. Perhaps foolishly I asked why we were waiting on some other guy's parts and that it seemed they could get to mine while waiting, only to be told the other car was up on their rack and couldn’t be moved. Finally I received the call the Jeep was ready. To add to this insanity I was told that when they installed the 2nd Valve Body/ TCM Assembly the day before it didn’t fix it either and that they had called to start the engineering request over but almost as an afterthought their transmission guy ordered a replacement electronic shift module, which Tommy said was cheap and easy to get, received it that morning and it fixed the problem. While relieved to get it back, I was even more furious that the Jeep had been down a whopping 84 days and they could have had the part in 24hrs if they’d have diagnosed it correctly. This whole process was insane and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. It cost us a fortune to rent cars over this period and it felt like every time we called we were told something to pacify us but that there was no real plan or timeline (and it was always us calling them, I think in the nearly 3 months our Jeep was at DMCDJR, I got no more than 4 calls from them). I traded that Jeep less than 24 hrs after picking it up from DMCDJR and will never buy another Stellantis product or anything sold or serviced by Dutch Miller. Caveat Emptor!

My husband works in Charleston and had to drive to Parkersburg to close the deal. They stayed late so we could get it done. I also appreciated the lack of “hard sell” on warranty products. I’ve been sold on those since I had to use one and paid $100 for a whole new transmission, but the finance guy didn’t try to push it. Get hey also brought the car I wanted from the Charleston dealership. I would definitely work with them again.

Unnecessary repairs? Valve cover ($400) and both batteries ($700+)? This was my 4th visit to CMA Chrysler for service and the first three were fine and reasonable. Perhaps this time the unneeded repairs are just coincidences? Or was the staff looking for end-of-year bonuses or quotas? My check engine light had come on and the engine was rough. A friend-mechanic ran a diagnostic and told me I had a cylinder 2 misfire. So I left my Pacifica, and they concurred, and told me I needed a new ignition coil, and that I should replace all my sparkplugs. Since the car had 120K miles that seemed reasonable. About $1k so far. A couple of days later they called and said I had a valve cover leaking oil for another $400. I hadn’t noticed an oli leak but I accepted the recommendation. But a few days later just before pickup I was told that both my batteries were weak and needed replacement. (I had not experienced any issues) Well, my start-stop battery was replaced a few months ago, so I told them they would have to do it under warranty. And when I inquired I was told the new main battery was $300+. I left the car another day and I was told that the start-stop battery now tested fine and did not need replacement. And the regular battery which tested weak (so I was told) had not cause me any problems so I left it alone(another month in the cold with lots of down time and I have had no issues. So, bottom line – I didn’t need either battery replaced and saved myself $700. I have lost trust in CMA Chrysler. Not sure if I should give them another chance, perhaps this was just coincidence/bad luck? . Three stars because I am unsure if the unnecessary work was coincidence or dishonesty. I wont recommend CMA for now, although I did in the past. Everyone including Matthew was nice and professional. But when they recommend work, then dont do it because it is under warranty and it no longer needs it - that is a red flag.

I have bought vehicles and had them serviced at Courts Motors for about 17 years. They have always treated me more than fair with vehicle prices, and with service. I always knew that I would get the best price on a vehicle from Courts Motors, and I have been more than satisfied with the quality of the vehicles. I have bought a jeep and several dodge cars From them. I have taken my vehicles there for routine maintenance and have always been pleased with the service, friendliness, and care that I have been given. When I have had service appointments, they serviced my vehicles promptly and kept my vehicle clean. I would rate Courts Motors sales and service as excellent! I do not expect to buy a vehicle or have it serviced anywhere else because of how well they take care of me.

Made an appointment for my 2013 challenger.I needed an inspection,oil change,and a tire rotation,Great service as soon as I went to the service desk.I was waiting on my car,and within about 35 min,it was done,but it was suggested to me to have the air filter changed and my cabin filter changed also.I was already there and I knew they both needed changed for sure,so I said yes go for it,they did it in a timely manner and it was done.YAY.Im not sure of the guys name,but he was great and kept up to date everything.GREAT SERVICE.And the cashier lady is so sweet,she has been there a long time.Just want to say THANK YOU,and keep up the great service.
