My entire family has bought cars from Price. At my recommendation, several of my friends have also bought cars there. Eric, Dave, and all the guys have been great, and every single vehicle we’ve bought has been top notch. I’m still driving my Dodge Grand Caravan that I bought over two years ago and it still looks great and runs great. They stand behind their vehicles. Their mechanics are awesome. I have a vehicle from Price, my husband has had two vehicles from Price, my daughter, my son, my best friend, and several neighbors, have all bought vehicles at Price Auto. You will never find friendly, caring, service like this at any other dealer. Believe me, I’ve dealt with other used car dealerships over the past 55 years and I’ve NEVER had the kind of service these guys provide.

First City Cars and Trucks is the only dealership I’ve visited where I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process and experience of buying a vehicle. After being left in a pinch to look for a vehicle that fit my criteria and budget, I thankfully found multiple listings from their website that checked out. All their vehicles were in pristine condition and were extremely affordable - well under Kelly Bluebooks recommended value! I visited the Rochester location and throughout the whole process felt at ease of how professionally and carefully everything was handled. Huge xxxxxxto the detailer- every vehicle I drove looked brand new inside and out! Rebecca and Todd were friendly, welcoming, and made me feel safe in trusting them in such a big decision. In addition to the car being priced extremely well for its value, they were extremely reasonable when working out a price that fit my budget. I had to stay in the building after hours in order to add my car to my insurance, and they were more than accommodating, letting me stay as long as needed. Plus, I also left with a nice goodie bag! I never once felt rushed, stressed, or pressured throughout my entire time there which was unlike anything I had experienced at other dealerships. When you’re making the decision of purchasing a long term investment like a car, it’s beyond reassuring to have people in control of the process that work with you and not just for a commission check. I am so grateful I came across this dealership and highly highly recommend driving over and taking a look at what they have to offer.

I thought the guys were nice at this dealership, but my overall experience was very disappointing. I was interested in one of their vehicles and came close to buying it. I don't live nearby, but my kids had a basketball tournament during the weekend that was 30 minutes away, so we had planned on me bringing in my trade to have it appraised, and so I could look at their vehicle if time permitted. I found out on my way there that the owner's wife was driving the vehicle I was interested in for the weekend. I was a little annoyed, but whatever! I still had my truck appraised and worked out numbers. I had a pre- approval from my bank, but Motor City was going to see if if they could get me a better rate. I left while they worked on that, because I had to get back to the basketball tournament for the next game. By mid day on Monday I hadn't heard anything, so I reached out to check in on the status of everything. I received a response later in the day that I got approved, but it had no addional details. I replied asking what the terms were, but didn't hear back. It's now late afternoon on Tuesday, so I call to find out that my bank offered better options. I asked them to send me the purchase and sale, and I would get out of work early and head to my bank. He said he would send it right over at 3:45pm, but I was soon arriving to the bank at 4:30pm, and still hadn't received anything. I was getting nervous because the bank closes at 5pm. I call again and it is finally sent. I immediately forward it to the loan officer, not thinking to look, because we had alreay finalized the numbers while I was there, and I was rushing to get everything done before the bank closed. When signing the paperwork with the bank, I realized my trade wasn't included. Apparently, the "old purchase and sale agreement" was sent on accident, but I never worked the deal without my trade, so not sure where this old one came from. I asked if they would still buy my truck, and they said no. Furthermore, even after all this, they were not willing to bring the vehicle to me, so I would have to now find someone to take me down there. The bank was unable to redo the deal with the trade, because it would then make my LTV too high. I had previously missed out on a deal at another dealership on a vehicle that was the same year, make, model, and about the same miles, which was overall $1,500 less, so this makes sense. I wasted so much time and energy for all this to happen. I feel like the transparency at this dealership is unsettling. I worked in the car industry for many years and this is not how I operated. If you are looking for an honest dealership, try one of the McGee Dealerships. I know for a fact that this wouldn't happen over there, and I think I won't venture away from them again. Most dealership are like this, sadly! I thought these guys were different, but I guess I was wrong. P.S. I should have read through all these reviews before I went there. When looking at their responses, it is clear that they take absolutely no accountability for anything, and are extremely defensive when anything is brought to their attention. This should serve as a red flag for everyone. I previously mentioned McGee, look at their responses to their negative reviews. Examples: How can we make your experience better?, I'm sorry this happened. How can we help?, etc. It actually made me uncomfortable reading Motor City's responses. I am now curious what their response will be to this and what excuse will be used this time around.

Solid 5/5 stars. I stopped by on a busy Saturday and was openly told to feel free to look around and check out anything I’d like. Bob was very inviting and incredibly helpful, and Sarah was extremely prompt and pleasant to work with on the financing side. I’ve shopped at some shady used car dealerships in the past, and First City has proven to be the opposite of that. They are very honest and open about their inventory, and made for a very friendly, zero pressure interaction with zero headache.

Highly, highly recommend!! This was our first experience financing a car and Ross made the whole process smooth and easy. I was a little hesitant buying a car because of the stereotype that most car salesman are trying to rip you off... we did not feel that AT ALL with Ross! He wasn't pushy or "salesy." He was kind, helpful, and really went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and help us make the best decision. The whole process was so much easier and simple than we thought it would be and we are really happy with our new car and the financing we got!!!

I bought a car with the car fax from this place. Owner was personable, degree in financing I believe he said. Car was $5995.00 I put down half in cash, financed the rest. I put a total of 13000 miles on it. During that 13 months I drove it I had to put almost a thousand in cash out for repairs, even with the GWC warranty. 14 months into owning the car the transmission blew on the highway. It sat in Ct for 3 months while I still made payments and insurance payments. Only to finally pay it off (3k) to get the title and I just sold it for $800 in cash. Underneath was full of rot, anything he told me was straight xxxxxxxx. Stay away

TL/DR; Dealer drags things out so out of state car registration is late and slips back in stupid charges after they make you wait hours and hours for paperwork. Maybe I should have expected this, but this dealer pulled every sneaky trick possible. The engine on my daughter's car blew and she was rushed to purchase a new car. Planet Honda had a nice 2015 CR-V at a good price so we went to purchased. She was told she'd be given $2,500 for her old car with blown engine (a 2010 CR-V with NO rust, clean body and interior and new tires on alloy rims). So we arrived at 1pm on a Saturday and the negotiations began. Agreed upon a price for the car, but then it comes in $1,153 more for an "options" package ($595) we didn't ask for (pin striping, window tinting, etc. - this was already on the car for the advertised price). Then they added the xx "etched glass" protection and nitrogen in the tires for $558 more. We declined the protections ($389) but left the nitrogen. Now all of a sudden, the trade-in was only worth $1,000 because they hadn't looked at it in details (except they had already given her a quote to repair it). Fast forward, or should I say slow-forward six hours, we are still waiting for financing. It's 7pm, we haven't eaten and they are dealer-dragging. We finally get into the finance office and it's 1,000MPH for paperwork. Again, we decline protection, extended warranty, etc. Every single time the finance manager has us sign, it's on an iPad and we've scrolled to the signing lines. The "additional fees" are small print lines and blended in with other fees. Let's just say there was another $1,257 in fees that appeared on a scrolled by line six hours later in the day. The "safe and secure" $558 package magically reappeared in the final sales, slipped by the goalie. Yeah, we mighta caught it, but this is the dealer-scam: make you wait so long, you'll sign anything to leave. Now here's the kicker: we purchased the car in NH, but live in MA. It's been 9 days and no plates, no registration. Checking on-line, they haven't even filed the paperwork yet. We can't inspect the car in MA (which you have 7 days to do) because of this. Just a heads up, pay attention with this dealer as they drag things out and make it difficult for you.

Bought a Volkswagen 2013 buying was easy Pleasant plus accommodating in fact, I couldn’t believe the honesty recommended several Friends and families ,But same day I bought the car issues started to appear. Reaching out to the dealer and getting the issues addressed properly, now that part hasn’t been as easy and accommodating When I addressed the issues the response I got from the dealer was (You have to understand is a used car is not perfect). I’m supposed to bring the car back to them for the day and fend for myself basically, because they don’t have rental’s says the dealer. I advise anyone who’s buying a used car from a dealership like this one, small dealerships to do their homework first!

I truly believe I was sold a lemon. After owning the car for less than a month, I have had the alternator go and know the check engine light is on. When I called to get it fixed I was told that they do not have a tech to look at it at either location. I have reported them and I am telling EVERYONE to stay away from them. I will NEVER do business there again!

1. No extended warranty program was offered. 2. 4 weeks and 2,000 miles later all four brakes were needed. 3. 1 week after that the transmission needed to be rebuilt. The dealer offered NO help. I was stick with over $3,300 in repairs within 5 weeks of buying the car.

John B. the owner fixed the few defects we noted in the car, was willing to even deal with anything beyond the 30 day transition period which was not necessary. The only negative with the experience was he would not haggle over his sale price. Otherwise, the car we purchased had no hidden defects.
