I live about 90 minutes from White River Toyota, so we exchanged a number of emails, wherein Tyler provided a wealth of information. This gave me the confidence to put down a deposit without having seen the vehicle in person. I subsequently traveled to White River Toyota where I met both Tyler and the 4Runner for the first time. The actual purchase went very smoothly and quickly. I enjoyed meeting Tyler. Today I called Lebanon Ford about new Ford Edge availability since I was coming from 90 miles away. As promised the vehicle was there and ready for me to test drive. I arrived at 2:30pm and test drove the car while they inspected my potential trade in. The new car was exactly what I wanted and their trade in offer was in line with book plus they offered me incredibly good financing. By 5:30pm all the paperwork and transfers had been done and I was on the road home. I hate to waste time so by God if felt good to deal with professionals.

The Key Honda of Rutland is a bit of a drive, 1 hour and 40 minutes for us. The trip was definitely worth the effort. Staff responds courteously and quickly to all of our questions. The was no "pressure" to close the deal, it was up to us what we wanted. The dealer offered and delivered the car to our door once it was ready. We will definitely come back as buyers on our next vehicle and we definitely recommend the team at the Key Honda in Rutland..

Whatever you do, DO NOT do business with Poulin Auto Sales in Barre, VT! I traded in a 2018 Toyota Camry and bought a 2018 GMC Acadia from these people. The car LITERALLY broke down on the way home. They came and got it the next day, gave me a car to use while they looked into the Acadia. Two weeks later, I got my “new” car back. Then it started bucking like it was having issues switching gears. Their garage said they couldn’t do anything because no codes popped up. Took it to my garage who said I needed a new transmission. Luckily my warranty covered that, but it unfortunately did not stop the bucking. I have had this car for a year and 1000% regret buying from Poulin. I thought being a small family owned company, they wouldn’t rip me off but boy was I wrong. Now I’m going to have to take a pretty big loss and trade it because I just cannot stand driving this car anymore and no one is going to give me what I owe on this xxx. The best part, they registered, delivered my new car with a FULL tank of gas! Never happened like that in CT.

Highly, highly recommend!! This was our first experience financing a car and Ross made the whole process smooth and easy. I was a little hesitant buying a car because of the stereotype that most car salesman are trying to rip you off... we did not feel that AT ALL with Ross! He wasn't pushy or "salesy." He was kind, helpful, and really went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and help us make the best decision. TL/DR; Dealer drags things out so out of state car registration is late and slips back in stupid charges after they make you wait hours and hours for paperwork. Maybe I should have expected this, but this dealer pulled every sneaky trick possible. The engine on my daughter's car blew and she was rushed to purchase a new car. Planet Honda had a nice 2015 CR-V at a good price so we went to purchased. She was told she'd be given $2,500 for her old car with blown engine (a 2010 CR-V with NO rust, clean body and interior and new tires on alloy rims). So we arrived at 1pm on a Saturday and the negotiations began. Agreed upon a price for the car, but then it comes in $1,153 more for an "options" package ($595) we didn't ask for (pin striping, window tinting, etc. - this was already on the car for the advertised price). Then they added the xx "etched glass" protection and nitrogen in the tires for $558 more. We declined the protections ($389) but left the nitrogen. Now all of a sudden, the trade-in was only worth $1,000 because they hadn't looked at it in details (except they had already given her a quote to repair it). Fast forward, or should I say slow-forward six hours, we are still waiting for financing. It's 7pm, we haven't eaten and they are dealer-dragging. We finally get into the finance office and it's 1,000MPH for paperwork. Again, we decline protection, extended warranty, etc. Every single time the finance manager has us sign, it's on an iPad and we've scrolled to the signing lines. The "additional fees" are small print lines and blended in with other fees. Let's just say there was another $1,257 in fees that appeared on a scrolled by line six hours later in the day. The "safe and secure" $558 package magically reappeared in the final sales, slipped by the goalie. Yeah, we mighta caught it, but this is the dealer-scam: make you wait so long, you'll sign anything to leave. Now here's the kicker: we purchased the car in NH, but live in MA. It's been 9 days and no plates, no registration. Checking on-line, they haven't even filed the paperwork yet. We can't inspect the car in MA (which you have 7 days to do) because of this. Just a heads up, pay attention with this dealer as they drag things out and make it difficult for you.
