We recently purchased a vehicle at Sam Leman in Champaign. Reese Smith was our sales associate and we could not be more pleased with the service he provided us. A very friendly and welcoming individual, Reese was very knowledgeable of the cars on his lot (in our case a Jeep) as well as the services his dealership had to offer. He communicated effectively and seemed to clearly understand our needs, focusing on them rather than what he had to sell. As me and my partner are probably 50 years older than Reese, he explained things in a caring way, never condescending. We felt both heard and respected. Once we worked out a deal we met with Johnny Lane who helped us work out the financing and any features (like a maintenance agreement) we might want to add to our purchase. Johnny was invested in what we wanted, not selling things to us. He clearly explained our options so that we could decide if we wanted them or not. In some cases he began with saying, “I don’t think this is something you should consider, but I will explain it to you if you wish.” We left with a purchase we are very pleased with as well as the comfort of knowing that Reese and Johnny are there for support if something should ever come up. We return in a few days to connect with Reese who is going to introduce us to their maintenance team. We could not be more pleased with our buying experience and strongly recommend connecting with Reese Smith at Sam Leman if you are in the market for a new vehicle.

We were visiting the Crawford County Humane Society in Robinson Il. While we were there, our tire pressure monitor light went on. My husband found a nail in one of the tires, and the tire pressure was 22psi. We went to Silverthorne Ford to see if they could help us. These people could not have been nicer. They were going to patch the tire, but Geoffrey discovered some large cracks on the inside of the tire. We were shocked since we had just had our tires rotated by our mechanic, and he never said anything. Jordan was surprised the tire hadn't blown. It could have been a bad accident if the tire had blown while we were driving at highway speeds. Even though the mechanics were busy, they took the time to replace the damaged tire. Geoffrey inspected the other 3 tires, and the other 3 were beginning to get cracks in them as well. This is a Ford dealer and we have a Toyota, so it was really nice they were willing to help us instead of sending us elsewhere. We live in Minnesota and we're on our way back. We forgot to take pictures of the tire to show our mechanic. Makayla was nice enough to send us some photos. We were just so amazed at the kindness and customer service we were provided by everyone at the dealership. Jordan, Geoffrey, Makayla, and Bailey really stood out. Bailey spent a lot of time showing my husband the owner's Hellcat he was detailing while we waited. We couldn't have been happier with the service everyone provided. We would highly recommend you take your vehicle there if you need any service.

We shopped all over but came back to Max Dye. We found that other car dealerships lure you in with great internet prices but once you are there, it does not pan out so well. The experience has always been great from the sales to the service. The sales department is very upfront with a good balance of not being too pushy but very knowledge and willing to answer all your questions. We enjoyed working with Chad. He spent a great deal of time making sure we were well oriented with our new purchase. The other great part of purchasing from Max Dye is having such an efficient, helpful service department. Steve has always taken great care of us. The owners are also very friendly, helpful and personable.

I have had bad luck in working with dealerships. Fletcher was amazing--they offered to buy me out from the bad deal I'd gotten myself into, and got me into a much better vehicle. Dick Giles was no pressure; which is not always my experience at dealerships. I couldn't have been more pleased with the way I was treated.

I bought a new Jeep several years ago. After 13,000 miles the tires began going flat. In a few weeks all four, plus the spare, had two or more holes in them. In two days I had three flat tires. I complained to the dealer saying the tires had to be old or defective. I was told to come to the dealership and they would see what they could do. I worked second shift and had to make a four hour round trip with no spare tire. After I got there I was told there was nothing they could do. I had to hurry and go to Walmart and buy four new tires before I was late for work. The person at Walmart that changed the tires said he had never see tires that bad. A lady I called at the dealership said, "You abused the tires." I was nearing retirement age and never got off a public road and never ran over anything such as a nail. The tires were so bad that the gravel on the road where I lived punctured them. Many cars and trucks travel that same road as I have and no one ever had tires to go flat as I did. I will never buy a vehicle from them again and I would caution anyone not to trust them. I also wanted to get life insurance on the loan and they said I couldn't. Before the year was over my wife died suddenly and I was left with nearly 20,000 in debt.

Went to the Dodge dealership just to look. Wasn’t really looking for a new vehicle as I loved my 2019 Jeep Cherokee that I bought from Bob Brady about 6 years ago. Met with Diana Hughes and she was amazing! We had gone to a couple other dealerships and actually walked away from some good deals because the salesperson was either too pushy or rude. Diana never once pressured us into buying a new vehicle. She just explained what deal she could give us and what she could do for us. We test drove a 2024 Dodge Hornet and I fell in love with it. Because of her laidback and friendly personality we decided to buy it. Won’t be going to a different dealership in the future and will always ask for Diana in the future. Other dealerships must think people love pushy salespeople but never once has any of the staff we’ve dealt with at Bob Brady have ever been pushy or rude with us. Thank you Diana for helping us! You definitely have long term customers out of us!

Best car buying experience ever!! Hunny Beechum was wonderful to deal with. Negotiated the deal via phone and drove off with the car less than 24 hours after initial contact. They gave me a great deal on my trade and the monthly payment they quoted me over the phone was exactly what they said it would be at signing. This really was the best car buying experience I've ever had.
