I never felt pressured into anything, and was in and out at the dealership in a very reasonable amount of time. He’s easy to talk to, and you can tell he makes sure to put your needs and interests first. No accountability to Toyota for used car sales, Lithia corporate will not return calls, emails, or answer phones, I bought 2 certified pre-owned vehicles, not cheap vehicles, one with incorrect front brake pads, one with front alignment issues causing dangerous driving, excessive tire wear, and they witheld that the vehicle was past due for $1,000 in routine maintenance, found dog hair in the cab, driver side speaker buzzes, scratches will not buff out as stated, stereo not updated, can only get oil change at lithia, not transferrable to normal toyota dealer, still do not have the standard keys for the vehicle or the vehicle manufacturer specification sheets, and I had to make them give me an owner's manual. Despite what I was told, if you are out of the area they refuse to utilize other lithia toyotas to help with any issues and demand you return to the dealer.

The Lithia Subaru did not even rotate the tires at the alignment, so the tires wore down a lot more and the handling took a few weeks to calm down. I can't even get a complimentary tire rotation, lol.
Because dealers refuse to work together to help customers we are at a stand still. Michael's Toyota Lithia near Seattle already attempted that.
It makes no sense to lose time and money out of work just to drive 20 hrs on a hope things might be fixed. It still pisses me the heck off I keep finding dog hair and the driver side speaker base tone buzzes incessantly on some of my favorite tracks.
I would like the Tacoma Lithia oil change canceled and refunded in the near future, on an agreed upon date... Lithia corporate is not responding. I would like the 2 standard vehicle keys and dealer specification sheets per this VIN mailed to an address here in Washington, please, right away. I would also like someone to email me some info and follow up to ensure the stereo is updated; dealers will charge me to address all of the issues. In addition it may come off the trade-in value, so I am paying double or triple what it would have cost Lithia Toyota Medford to do their job right in the first place. At this point I cringe at ever setting foot in Lithia Medford Toyota dealership again, even to get my Rav lifetime oil change 2x a year, for fear I will go off and rant to someone undeserving, and even if they were deserving they don't give 2 hoots, obviously, so it is a complete waste of my energy.
Have you looked at the Toyota dealer rating on JDPower? It is mediochre to terrible given the quality of build, and no matter how good a rig, that will slowly drive and keep part of the market elsewhere.
This is precisely the kind of thing that makes me want to rebuild my '84 Ford and not be out almost a grand a month. Yeah this is a nice rig but for 40G with these kinds of headaches and angst over what else did that dealer not do? Heck they couldn't even do a fresh oil change or the past due maintenance. Now I drive around hauling a rig knowing the tranny and diffs should have been changed at 60K before I bought it. The engine oil is about due now and it is less than the 10K interval I should have had from sale mileage, based on previous owner/lessee records. I would expect that from a private sale for 7G less. We are at 6 months later and there are same rigs with less miles, immaculate for 5G less than this vehicle.
Yeah, I am sore, I am pissed. The social media rants, well-deserved, from any poor customer service, will haunt your dealership.

In addition, since this is private, Brian's ability to sound rude, uncaring, and uninformed is quite impressive. The main takeaways for him - look up the correct vehicle purchased before you go off on a long rant, look up the actual warranty as compared to actual issues before telling someone to go use their warranty to resolve things, and last but not least, try, try, try to refrain from accusing the customer of lying and working the situation based on self-admittedly overhearing the sales manager talk on a a brief telephone conversation regarding a post-sale vehicle mechanical issue.

And it had an aftermarket air filter that was torn. This would not pass California smog! We feel like this should’ve been taken care of before we left the dealership or even before we looked at the truck! Yes, there is also an exhaust leak that we are going to have to look into. We do like the truck, it looks clean. The sales people were very personable and we enjoyed our visit there. But after we got home and found what was wrong with the truck, I have a hard time recommending this dealership to friends.
