on late afternoon, Thursday, 30 august 2018 I had my 2001 H1 hummer towed to Royal GMC Buick, 815 W. Automall Drive, Tucson, AZ 85705. (the vehicle would crank but the engine would not turnover (start). on Friday, 31 august 2018 I went to the dealership to check on the vehicle. at that time I met service advisor Mr. Chris Savastano and Master ASE and GM Certified Technician Mr. Joshua Dewitt. They both briefed me on the immediate status of the vehicle. Mr. Dewitt had already performed troubleshooting on the vehicle and got it to start so that it could be moved, under its own power, to a safer, out of the way, location prior to actually being worked on. that was the FIRST thing that impressed me about this duo of service advisor and certified technician. before I left the dealership I was presented with a verbal plan on how the troubleshooting and possible repair actions would proceed. no promises were made as to when the vehicle would be ready; however, there were assurances made that the mechanical problem would be identified and the vehicle repaired.
during the entire two week process Mr. Savastano kept me informed as to the status of the job and the progress being made. I also had an occasion to speak with Mr. Dewitt and he provided me with his troubleshooting methodology and his opinion as to what might have caused the failure of the engine to start.
on Friday, Friday, 31 august I was able to pick up the vehicle. it was in perfect running condition. and I would like to add that it was cleaner both inside and out than when it arrived at the dealership! this was the SECOND thing that most impressed me.
Mr. Savastano was completely professional and was available to talk to me for as long as I required. and his pricing for the job was outstanding, taking into consideration what I had previously paid for labor at Royal Hummer on speedway and Columbus and also taking into account my prior military service.
what impressed me the MOST was Mr. Dewitt's qualifications as a military trained HUMVEE mechanic! when I first learned of that I immediately felt relief and confidence that my vehicle was in good hands. also impressive was Mr. Dewitt's obvious enthusiasm for his job and his eagerness to tackle the challenge of isolating the problem(s) with my vehicle. HE DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB of identifying and correcting the problems within my vehicle's engine, charging system, and "lift" pump system.
I will most definitely be returning to this Royal location for any future H1 Hummer needs.

I have bought two cars personally from Garrett's (my family numerous) and every time we go and see Liz. She is always our go-to when looking at vehicles and getting the ins and outs of what vehicle we might get. She goes above and beyond! I bought my Chevy Cruze brand new and it was such a seamless process from trading my Chevy Malibu in, to getting my car.
On the front end of sales it was amazing (Liz), to the individuals who handled my loan (Abram), to setting up my first maintenance appointments (JD and Marcus) it all has been and continues to be top quality. I've experienced first hand how shady car dealerships can be and the whole process of owning a car from another dealer and Garrett's stands out well above the pack.
It all comes down to walking in, speaking with a friendly sales Rep Named Liz and now being part of the Garrett's family. I know anytime I have an issue with my car they are just a call away, and that is reassuring as a young, mature or old car owner.

I called the service department from 90 miles away asking for them to get me in right away as I was working and needed my truck fixed ASAP. A closer dealer said 3 days wait. Martin at this Flagstaff dealership worked with my time restraints to get me in the same day. Not only did they make me feel important but, they provided me with a loaner car without asking so I could get back to work. Martin called me and kept me informed of the progress of my repairs. I showed up to pick up my car just before they closed. They did not rush me, made sure I was happy, overlooked the extra miles I had put on the car they provided and were very friendly to me.
I asked to speak to a sales person as I wanted to find out what it would cost to upgrade my vehicle and I was greeted by a wonderful person from Hawaii which we shared stories and I received the information i wanted. I would buy from him anytime. Now I remember his name. Kieth. He was very pleasant and did not try to pressure me at all.

Service Gone Wrong - Dissatisfied Customer
I took my vehicle in for service repair to my AC, paid $1200, my AC stopped working the next day after I picked it up. The GM and Service Manager would not resolve the issue and tried to charge me an additional $1000. I was told to pay the money or take my keys.

The Body Shop cut corners on my deer experience - David B
I hit a deer. I took it to Kingman Chevrolet body shop to be repaired because Allstate works with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The Allstate experience is wonderful however when I got my car back the morning of is the body shop manager if he had checked the bulbs for my passenger side to match the ones on my driver side that were broken. He said no. I told him that the headlight bulbs were not Originals. I asked him if I could purchase the correct ones and have them put them in and he said no. I took it to Walmart to have them installed and found out that one of the connectors, the high-beam, the lock clip is broken. Wal-Mart electrical taped it closed for me. The low beam is screwed into place. This is totally wrong mechanical work. I noticed on the estimate that no light bulbs were on it. Even though the headlight was completely smashed. Allstate stated that all the leadership needed to do was put in a secondary request to cover these additional materials needed. I think all they wanted to do was get the Allstate checks what they already had in hand to get my car pushed out the door so they could cash the checks.

Tried to buy a used car from these guys. They wanted me to pay 8,000 more than the car was worth, pay off 4,000 more on my trade in so they could resell it and make even more on that deal. Beware!
Unprofessional Staff - Madison
Went in to look at used vehicles and was shocked at the unprofessionalism throughout this dealership! I felt as if I were being attacked as soon as I stepped onto the lot! A great deal of whispering among the staff. It was just an uncomfortable feeling. In addition, my questions regarding the car I was interested in were never answered! I felt pressured to quickly buy, buy, buy!

CREDIT THIEVES!!!!!!!!!! This establishment has to be a joke. They call it the Steve Coury FAMILY Automotive. It should be renamed to Steve Coury we don't care about you and your family automotive. So my husband and I were purchasing a used truck and we decided to trade in our 2011 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T this was in July. Well a week later we saw the Sonata that we traded in driving around town, well looked what popped up in the mail in August a bill for the Sonata. We called Hyundai finance and told them we traded it into Steve Coury dealership called Steve Coury and they said they sent a check. The next month September came along and we got another bill we called again and said we did not have the car also called Steve Coury again they said they sent a check. The next month October rolled around and guess what another bill once again called the finance company and Steve Coury. I had to drive down to Steve Coury with the repossession bill (on a car we didn't have anymore) and show them that the car had not been paid off and my husband's credit was on the line. The car did not get paid off until October 21st. They said don't worry his credit won't get hurt well guess what his credit went from an 800 down to a 602. We just recently purchased another vehicle from a different dealership and they told my husband that he was a high risk loan because he let the Sonata fall behind (when we didn't even have it). Now with our new car we have to pay an extra $2000 in interest because Steve Coury did not fulfill the obligation on time because that dealership has NO MONEY. I went to Steve Coury with all this information i.e credit report and all the bill's from Hyundai motor saying we were behind and the SALES MANAGER Greg Ray sent me away and said he could not help me on a problem that they caused. I had initially contacted a GM by the name Shad Leblanc and he said he would look into this and go figure he never called me back. SHAME SHAME on that so called business wrecking peoples credit then not doing anything about it. They are really nice to your face when you want to buy a car but if something goes wrong watch out cause they are your worst enemy. Please take it from me DO NOT go there it will be the worst experience you will ever have. Usually a lot of people buy car's to fix their credit this place will just damage it and not do anything about it. If only we had been warned ahead of time. This is my warning to all of you.
